Run far away from this place. Employees are always mistreated and unappreciated.
As an educator in a school setting I can tell you first-hand what an amazing staff Cayer has. Their staff goes above and beyond for their clients. Every staff member I have met has been dedicated, knowledgeable, and passionate. They have been a tremendous support to me in the classroom. I cannot say enough good things about this group.
Because the owner mistreats both employees and clients. The therapists, besides 1-2, are great. The owner is publicly known as a pretty terrible person and has very unprofessional billing procedures and has kicked clients out for being unable to pay thousands at a time, and kicked my 3 year old out because I stood up to her. I loved my therapist, but would never advise anyone to take their child there because of billing and mistreatment being so prevalent there. Work closely with you insurance when going here. My insurance called me and said they think there was fraud going on, at best neglect with timely claims procedures, which led to multiple problems. We also had therapists who were not experienced or certified to lead my childs therapy program working with him-another major insurance issue. My 3 year old has regressed since we have gone over a month without services since we were kicked out with NO NOTICE over the owners personal issues with me (I mentioned my experience with my support group, and someone told her about it and she lost her cool in fear of more bad PR), note I am not her client (my 3 year old with severe nonverbal autism is) but I am his mother who paid this company thousands in co-pays, and the insurance paid her around 150,000 per year. Pretty awful to do to a kid no matter how you look at it. Its about the children. We are glad we are gone from Cayer Behavioral, but we are deeply saddened to see our little boy regress so much and lose valuable time in therapy. We will be much happier when we begin with Engage. I would even choose BMC over Cayer because of the aforementioned. Be careful with your children.
Cayer Behavioral Group has been and is a wonderful company to work for. I have been working for Cayer for over 3 years now and can genuinely say that its not just my place of employment but it is a second family. I have grown so much within the field of ABA working under Krista and Rosalind and continue to grow and have the opportunity to work with amazing clients and families!
Cayer Behavioral Group is an amazing organization that has helped me, help my students. Im a teacher for adults with disabilities with ages 18-22. Whenever Ive needed advice or insight, the staff has always been there to help. I love CBG!
The therapists and staff at Cayer are wonderful. They came highly recommended to me by a variety of sources and I can see why. Perfect blend of professionalism, expertise, and compassion. Highly recommend.
My son received behavior therapy from CBG and I cannot say enough. It’s changed his school experience and it’s even changed my approach as a parent. This is an investment that can’t be ignored.
We are thrilled with the progress our son has made since he began at CBG a year and half ago.Theyve helped him at home, at school, at swim lessons, in the community. Theyve been present at Martial Arts classes and tournaments to help when ever needed. Theyve helped us teach him to ride a two wheeler. The community outing social groups have really helped my son learn appropriate ways to behaving in social environments.I honestly, dont know where my son would be without the help of his CBG team!
My experience working with Cayer Behavioral Group for the past 5 years has been for lack of better words, life changing. Through learning the wonderful field of ABA, forever changing lives of families and kids, and teaching others the impact ABA can have, I have not only found a forever job but I have found a forever home.
As a Leon County schoolteacher I have seen a lot of behavioral therapists come into my classroom. The therapists at CBG, specifically Emi M, are top-notch!
Please keep your children away from this group. No child deserves to be triggered to have emotional behavioral problems in a classroom with peers, no child deserves to be locked in a room, for multiple days, while begging to be let out. This isnt hear say, this is fact. They will never have contact with my child or another child again in my county if I can help it. Grayson Martinez is abusive to the children and caused extensive regression in my child. Now, licensed therapist are having to repair her damage she inflicted.Update: these people will never have contact with my child or a child through my school district. The damage they caused to my son and others in the school is heartbreaking. I will be filing an official complaint with the BACB against Greyson Martinez and CAYER Behavioral. No one bullies and mentally abuses my child and gets away with it. Im also notifying all surrounding school districts if what happened. DCF is also investigating their actions and practices.Update: Liberty County School Board officially terminated their contract with this business, they will never harm another student in our school district.
All the staff members are so hard working and passionate about our children! Thank you for all you do!
