Horrible customer service! So I recently had a reservation for a 12’ moving truck. After I paid for the reservation and the truck was presented to me, the bumper was hanging off and had graffiti on it. Kyle told me that the truck had been service and was in good/decent condition for my move to Orlando. Once the truck was loaded and I begin my trip to Orlando the truck began to start smoking, radiator pipe burst and it broke down in the middle of interstate. After calling the Florida Highway Patrol and budget customer service it took them almost 3 hours to contact with a next step. The next step was for them to send out a mechanic that never showed up. Then eventually they towed the budget truck after 3 more hours to my destination. I lost over $400 that I paid for movers to unload in Orlando because I was well over 6 hours late after my scheduled time. I called customer service once again and asked for a refund for the inconvenience. They stated that I will receive a full refund but the refund was never process. I will not book with them ever again.

This place is absolutely the worst. Theres no point in making a reservation because they dont honor them. We made a reservation weeks ago for a 12 foot moving truck for our move from Tallahassee to Silver Spring, MD. Weve rented from here before so we know the drill. We called before driving down to the location to make sure the truck we reserved would actually be there and available when we showed up. They informed us that it would not be. They had a 16 foot truck with 2.5 foot higher clearance ready for us. We tried to be flexible, but apparently they would not have a 12 foot truck available tomorrow either and they informed us that there were no 12 foot trucks available within a 200 mile radius of Tallahassee. So the 16 foot truck will not fit into the apartment complexs garage that we are moving to. Now we not only have a 14 hour drive ahead of us, but when we get there, well have the amazing opportunity to find a place to park a 16 foot truck in a city! We called Customer Service, they transferred us to Truck Rentals who promptly transferred us back to Customer Service who did absolutely nothing except to assure us that its a mid-size truck, its not that big of a deal. This company is very poorly run. I would not recommend renting from them.

The staff here was so incredibly kind & helpful when returning my moving truck. I know I might’ve lucked out with a great agent but, would definitely use them again!

Ruined our move. The price went from 80$ to 214$ because i was using my card to pay instead of my husband using his card. 😒 don’t waste your time booking with this company. Go to uhaul ☺️

Staff were entirely ambivalent and unhelpful. booked a truck two weeks in advance and wasnt available the day of. rather than notifying us as soon as the truck was overdue for return They waited until twenty minutes before we were set to pick it up. after that they refused to rent us two smaller vehicles and had obviously double booked their rentals either accidentally or intentionally and refused to take responsibility. After talking to customer service they told us that the manager who we spoke to told them that we were notified five days before rather than twenty minutes before. the staff outright lied to us and their superiors in the company. Do not rent vehicles from this location if you intend to maintain a moving schedule. We ended up renting elsewhere and lost half a day trying to find last minute replacements.

Moving with Budget Truck was one of the worst experience I have ever encountered. I had a reservation at 9 am and upon arrival I was told that they did not have a truck ready for me and I ended up waiting 2 hours for a truck. This put me behind schedule for my CROSS COUNTRY move. I called customer service for some sort of refund and all they could offer me was $30 for inconvenience. I will never recommend Budget Truck to anyone and would discourage any future movers from using their services.

First experience with Budget wasnt good, had to wait for the car. However, the staff was friendly and the car we got was excellent and at a good price. Last month we rented from them again and the car was ready on time and we had no complaints. Our next rental will be with Budget.

If you think youll save money going with Budget, think again. I was charged over $90 for renting medium sized moving truck for a day. Returned it on time without a scratch. When I asked to look at the contract to see why the cost was so high, they could not find it and hung up on me without giving me a chance to talk to a manager. Please go with U-Haul, they wont screw a poor student over.

Had my truck for me and easy to work with. If you have car insurance check with your policy because you might not need to buy the extra insurance.

I use this Budget location for business car rentals. They always take care of my needs and are friendly and attentive. Mike, Chad and Andy run the business like customers count.

This place linked my debit card to another persons account and they charged me 53 dollars for ez pass in NJ when I didnt leave tally ???? Then when I tried to get it resolved I talked to 22 ppl on 800 numbers...and still have to wait 5 days 2 even find out if I get my money back.... budget does bad business....

Rented out a truck and they gave me one with 3 bad tires with heavily worn out threads, and 1 tire blew out on the way. The roadside repair guy was so shocked at the condition of the tires that he said that truck should have never left the lot. This is something that needs to be addressed for the safety of their customers..

Worst location i have ever been to, set up a rental truck over a week ago and when i arrive they acted like they didnt even run a rental truck company. They didnt have my information or even have their system up and running. took 15min for them to tell me they didnt have trucks and couldnt find any. make sure you dont use this location or budget at all for that matter!!!
