Today was such a pleasant experience! First service on my 2021 Ascent and Tony made everything easy from my initial call to set up the appointment to the actual service. The waiting room was clean & comfortable. Weve bought two Subarus from Proctor now, and weve been delighted both times. Like many people, we used to dread the whole high-pressure car-buying experience. And if you had to follow up later on, usually the people youd sort of gotten to know were gone. At Proctor, three years after we bought our first car there, the same salesman and same finance guy were there. And once again, there was no arm-twisting, no phoniness, no problem. The service department, too, has been friendly and accommodating. Last year, before the COVID vaccine, they even picked up our cars (including our old Hyundai), serviced them and brought them back. Were not in the habit of providing testimonials but, yep, were Proctor fans. And Subaru fans.
This weekend I had one of the most positive car buying experiences ever. So love my new Forester Premium. And the smooth, easy purchase at Proctor Subaru was ideal. No high pressure. Just great, friendly, process. My sales associate, Austin, and all the people who expedited my purchase, were 100% the best ever. I cannot rate Proctor Subaru highly enough. The team is above and beyond what I would have expected. The sales staff didn’t pressure me to purchase, they didn’t employ dishonest or deceptive sales practices and they genuinely seemed interested in placing me in the car that was right for me. Very friendly customer service. Unfortunately they damaged my rocker panels and wouldnt own up to it or fix it. Just denied and tried to say I mustve damaged it. I pay very close attention to my car. Wont be back.9/29 - Yes, if a manager would look into it, I would appreciate that.

My Crosstrek suddenly notified me that a tire was low on air. I checked and it had picked up a nail. Took it by Proctor Suburu and they had it patched in less than an hour. Very friendly staff an nice waiting room.

I bought a 2121 Subaru Forrester yesterday at Proctor Subaru in Tallahassee Florida. My salesman, Will, was very professional, kind, and courteous. My husband and I were able to test drive my car immediately, and Will took us through the purchasing process very fast without any problems. Ron, the financial advisor, was extremely knowledgeable about the warranties, and purchasing the vehicle. He got us through the process fast, and explained everything to our satisfaction. They cleaned the vehicle, and filled it up with gas. Will walked me through the dashboard, and even set up my phone. We are extremely pleased and satisfied with our experience. Excellent!!
The service deparment always appear to be polite and thorough, especially Tony and Billy.i guess we all would prefer that simple services were less expensive and that the old perquisites like a car wash still existed.
The process from the first contact was different from most dealerships. It was not pushy but yet very helpful in providing information. Our salesman, Skylar, was the best we’ve ever had, being helpful but not overstepping. Sales manager and finance manager we’re also very friendly and extremely helpful.

Always friendly, always prompt, always helpful. The cost is not the traditional “dealership” cost. The service is priced very reasonably. I have a dealership much closer to home but it doesn’t offer anywhere near the level of service offered by Procter so I make an extra 1 hour drive.

Drove an hour and a half to get oil change and 4 tires. I waited 3 and half hours and they hadnt put my wifes Subaru into a service bay. Never again Got tires and oil change in Bainbridge GA. If service would have called me and told me people didnt show up for work, I would have rescheduled appointment. NEVER AGAIN

Great service. They were thorough, honest, and reasonably priced. They went through my car with a fine tooth comb and fixed everything that needed repair to make the car right. They kept me informed every step of the way and did not keep the car any longer than necessary.
Nice people,but they cant find issues,that I experience. Different people say different things there. Said engine was rebuilt,then it was just used n could have unseen issues. Each time I brought it back,it was made worse. Had to pay for towing n a belt. Should be under warranty. They said itd last 200,000 to 250,000 miles,not around 250 miles!!!! All belts n fluids were changed after replacement engine,so they said. Ud think dealerships would care more about their products. Had more issues with dealerships than an everyday mechanic. Parts are 2 to 3x the price at dealership,then normal mechanic. Didnt wanna go there. Had no choice. Car idles rough, acceleration was good after engine replacement. Then tightening bolts messed that u. New belt now cause rough idle and even worse acceleration. I give up. Just gonna blow it up n leave it where it blows. Whyd I gotta pay for towing n belt? Whole engine is under warranty.
Proctor Subaru never disappoints me when I go in for service. I used to take my 2004 Honda Element for service and was always happy with the quick service. Last year I purchased my first Subaru from them and have really enjoyed working with their sales department to their service department.

I purchased a 2017 Subaru Forester in July. It was time for an oil change and a 6 mo ck-up.I went online and made an appt with the Subaru dealership on Cap Cir NE. Upon arrival I was greeted and my vehicle taken to their service area. Within the hour it was ready and the cost was very reasonable. The employee explained what was done and even came out to my vehicle to show me how to set the heater. I was pleasantly surprised at their entire service operation. I will be back!

Courteous - Professional Reception in the Service Dept.DISAPPOINTING follow-thru. Phoned ahead, told work could be done while I waited, so didnt request a loaner. Got there, THEN was told I needed to d/o. Loaner was very dirty inside, w/ little gas. Left car, described problems 8:30 AM on a Wed. Was told it would be ready Thursday; then Friday; then Monday.I called a couple of times for updates, but little was known about progress. Stopped by Friday, learned it would be ready Monday by noon. Got no call confirming it was ready (Mon), so I showed up after 2PM (It was ready within 10 min). Explained these issues to the Service Manager, who listened and retrieved my car. When I asked, What happened? he said when they had to order a part (which apparently took 2 days), the tech started another job, so I had to wait. Not impressed.

My daughter purchased a 2018 Impreza in Maine before moving to south Florida. About 18 months later while in the car with her I noticed it winding very loud and told her to have it checked when she went in for an oil change. The Subaru dealer told her they couldn’t find any problems. Proctors told me to bring it by if she was ever visiting Tallahassee. We did just that and Proctors had to replace both rear wheel bearings. The car sounds great now thanks to Proctors. I take my wife’s Legacy there as well and everyone is so polite and helpful. Thanks Proctors!

After having minor issues with my car and having to deal with the service department I am no longer happy with Proctor Subaru. They changed the oil and rotated the tires the first time I took it in (I’ve had to take in it twice in two weeks) but would not really “hear” my other issues. Dismissed me pretty much saying I would have to ride with a technician so that the could “experience” what I experience and I could do that at a later date if I still “experience” those issues.2nd visit just a couple of days later I received a warning from a police officer about my tail light being out. I had noticed that before but it was not a bulb issue because when jiggling the connections it came on. I was told at the time they probably could not look at it til Monday. But Monday before 8am I received a call I could pick up my car because they could not recreate the issue. Really??? I told them it’s the connections. They refuse to check or replace because since it’s not doing it for them they have no reason to!!!! Then was told my car was ready anytime!
I like Subarus, I like my Outback, mostly. Its a gripe that could be said about many modern cars, problems with sensors, extra systems, etc. Today thats not my issue, today my issue lies with the maintenance of proctor Subaru. Ive had the issue causing code P1449 since Wednesday and scheduled my appointment for Friday at 12pm, but now they say they wont have any updates until Monday. So I wont even know whats going on with my brand new vehicle Ive had for less than 2 weeks until Monday. I paid good money for a warranty and Ill pay good money just to have the problem fixed timely. I need my car back so I can sell it back, Subarus are good cars, but I would recommend buying them from here.

I had a recall i was trying to take care of but couldn’t get to Proctor’s early. I was able to leave my car and they were able To loan me a car until mine was ready the next morning. Called up on a specific car I was interested in and spoke with David. He and the finance office had the contract/paperwork ready to go within 2-3 hours of me calling. The work done most replacement of the passenger side airbag as I recall. Since I no longer Drive Exorcist technician came out picked up the car and took it back to the dealership while in the shop they checked other safety features and found multiple lights burn out and replace them. They return the car a few hours later and it was in great shape. The communication this was great people are very friendly Craig cordial acted very responsibly I would highly recommend them a great people thank you

Went to their service center for an airbag recall. Everyone I had contact with was incredibly helpful. They said the repair would take 2-2 1/2 hours and were done in 1 hour. I would recommend to anyone.

I was stuck in tallahassee, about 4 hours from home, with my Element loaded to the max for a camping trip. Frank took care of me and everyone at the dealership was awesome as well.
