I called earlier today to book a trip and gave a specific time had to call back and change it because I was coming off a greyhound bus and it was late. Person on the phone seemed professional and helpful. Everything seemed fine. When the time came though the driver never showed. I called twice and they checked on the driver then said they didn’t know what happened but will have someone come as soon as possible. I took the hint they obviously weren’t coming. Unsure what’s up with this company. Seems they will just tell you they’ll pick you up having no intention of actually doing so. And continued to say it even though they knew they hadn’t sent anyone and weren’t planning to. Why not just tell someone if you don’t have drivers or can’t pick them up rather than lying? I have zero idea why they never sent a driver. Poor service because no one ever came which speaks for itself. Wouldn’t recommend.

Waited 40 + minutes for a taxi when I was told there was one on standby. The car was very dirty and the driver made me feel uncomfortable and kept flirting. He then tried contacting me later that night. Felt unsafe. Driver also took wrong turns, which prolonged the trip and the cost of my trip. It was $4 more than it should have been if the right turn was taken. Unprofessional, late, and dirty; simply never again. If I could give them 0 stars I would.

Gentleman and his wife moving from Ohio come in through Quincy Florida heading to Tallahassee just 20 minutes away from where they were going to be staying in a motel room that night in Tallahassee and then signing the lease on their new place down here when less than 30 minutes from their destination Tallahassee when someone rear-ended them doing 50 miles an hour completely totaled out their car and they called our Transport service and we did not have any drivers available in the area so I actually referred them 2 City taxi or discount transportation and I even went above and beyond by trying to call myself and was on hold for a tremendous amount of time in excess of a 10 minutes which is not the norm when youre on the up-and-up & have an adequate amount of dispatch operators working at any given time i also called City Taxi three or four times and I was on hold forever? after traveling all the way from Ohio to Florida in the last 30 minutes of their trip was ruined and they were left basically beside the road after the tow truck had done left with the vehicle and they were still searching for a taxi and Tallahassee is only 20 to 25 minutes away from Quincy so its not like it was even a big deal to them. If you claim to me open 24/7 answer the phone.

In the past 3 days Ive been taken to appointments by different drivers with City Taxi, and I can assure you that the drivers are safe, courteous, and very accommodating to the riders needs. As a Pro Driver Im not often comfortable with being a passenger, but with City I am. Drivers are friendly, personable and take pride in what they do. Wait time was minimal too. Sending hugs to my drivers!

A day in advance I arranged for a 5AM pickup. Called dispatch at 5AM and was told that the cab would be 5-10 minutes late. Fifteen minutes later I called again and was told it would be another 10 minutes, which would make me late for my flight. The cab never did show up. If you use City Taxi be sure to leave enough time to walk to your destination when they don’t show up and don’t have the courtesy to call to let you know that they can’t perform the most basic function of a cab company. Gave 1 star because 0 stars wasn’t available as an option.

Very old, outdated and dangerous vehicles. Their cars are not safe to be in. The cars often break down on while on the road. They have left many people experiencing an unsafe and unenjoyable ride. They never have enough drivers.

Cars are old and smelled like cigarettes. But the driver was nice.

Horrible service, gave them multiple chances. They were 30mins late for my scheduled pick-up one time and an hour late for another scheduled pickup. Had a driver knowing he was already late to pick me up, tell me he was 5-10 mins away and he stopped to get McDonalds breakfast on his way to me making him take much longer than 5-10mins. That was the final straw, I am not paying you to make me late, especially when the pickup time already has a cushion built in so I can be early or at least on time. Buyer beware, you have been warned they are trash.

I had to be at the airport and my Lyft didn’t make it. I called them and I got a ride. I made my flight and my driver was the best.

City taxi finally got someone to the airport to pick us up, but for the ride back, we pre-booked a ride back that was cancelled out from under us with no contact. Called the company at 10 minutes after the scheduled pick up time and was told that a ride was on the way. At 30 minutes late we called again to be told they were not coming after at all, and never were.

Showed up just in the time of need!

The ride was amazing and the driver was courteous. Will use again soon.

I ordered a ride from South Monroe Save a Lot, the driver parked at piggly wiggly (the next block over) and flat out left. I called the company again to see what happened. The operator answered, interrupted me, and proceeded to state that he had already sent a driver he then hung up on me. Had to wait two hours in the pouring rain with groceries and my fiancee, whos expecting soon. Not satisfied, wouldnt reccomend

Worst customer service experience I have ever received. The telephone operator, Donna Williams would not help me at all and constantly hung up on me. I tried speaking with a supervisor but she told me that she was the only supervisor and then hung up on me. I would love to speak with an actual supervisor so that I can explain why I will never try to use this taxi service again and why I will be telling others about how terrible I was treated. (9/2/2020)- Now I see why the service is so bad, the owner wont even take the time to call me and see what actually happened. I suggest using a call recorder to ensure better quality.

To All the Students and Parents of students of Florida State University that have a need for transportation services, absolutely call Logan with City Taxi! As parents that do not live in Tallahassee, FL, it can be tough when issues arise like car trouble. We cant just be there to assist, and unfortunately, a lot of these companies in Tallahassee know this and take advantage of our students. City Taxi is Fabulous! They went above and beyond to assist us, Logan dispatched a wonderful driver (I apologize for not knowing his name) who was there to get my student in less than five minutes! I travel the United States for work, have used many cab services, and City Taxi is by far the BEST I have ever used. I recommend City Taxi to ALL students!! Pricing is great, the vehicle was extremely clean, and the driver was very nice. Thank you Logan! And, the driver whose name I do not know, you truly went above and beyond for our family. We are extremely grateful.

Taxi #150 just blew thru a light where I was coming thru. Had to swerve hard to miss him and he never hit his brakes at all. After that I saw the same #150 run a car onto the curb because he wanted that lane. City Taxi really need to check their drivers backgrounds. I pray I or my family and friends will ever need them.

I called the company on a late Saturday afternoon and received prompt and very courteous service from Mr. Haile. (such a clean and organized Cab).

Just almost got ran over by one of their drivers in a residential neighborhood. They have no regard for stop signs either the driver was going so fast that he did even see my son and I walking in the yard. Definitely wouldnt ride with someone that is so irresponsible and has no regard for anyone else or road etiquette and safety! I wouldnt this company to drive me anywhere; I would rather walk.

I had to get my newborn to a docote appointment and I called to let the driver know that I’m carrying a newborn car seat and to be patient . She kept blowing and almost left me . I had to go down three flights of stairs . The driver that picked me up from the doctor appointment left and I had to call him back. As soon as I went outside he left !!! . Then he charged me more money then the driver that took me to the doctor appointment . Long story short this cab company hires anybody and it’s crazy . I will notSpend my money on this company to get treated like this .

Yes, I understand there is good & bad in every service, but Citytaxi is the only way to get home safe, I know when I get in the cab I am insured and my drive is drug free, the taxi is uniformed I can see it, and to me that means everything, me and my family safety comes first, so I will leave it to those who understand to make a decision when it comes to take a taxi to get somewhere safely.

Ive always had the best of luck with City Taxi. I also accidentally left my phone in one of their vehicles. I sent them an email, and I had my phone back in no time, despite the fact that they were very busy. I am hugely appreciative to all of them. Ask for driver 1234, not just because of the awesome number, but because hes a really good guy.

I had an early morning flight and requested to be picked up at 4:15am. The driver arrived around ten minutes early, which I appreciated! He was warm and friendly and made the early morning drive enjoyable. I will definitely use City Taxi again!

Ride was OK till we get to my road. Dont call them if you dont live in the city some of us do live in out in woods and trees do grow there as soon as we get to my road the driver starts freaking out and questioning me if I indeed live there then proceeds to tell me he is carrying a gun while keeps looking back wouldnt even drive me to my driveway I got out asap

Both drivers I have used recently were wonderful. Very personable and friendly. The first time I had a prearranged pick-up time. The driver showed up on the DOT. The second time I called and they showed up within five minutes. Dispatchers are great. I love doing business with City Taxi.

The woman I spoke to was great (I didnt get her name) She was helpful and friendly and assured me they would be there. My driver was Alex. He got to my house early and didnt mind waiting on me. Use to take city taxi all the time before using Uber. Now not every Uber driver I had was awesome but dann every cab driver I had was rude. I believe there should be a age limit to be driving, especially if this is what you do for a job. Old white man always shouting out the lights that are red. Getting angry like for real angry with these lights. Also had to walk across the street a whole another location to get to him since he didnt want to pick my up where I ask. Ive walked to Uber where they drive pass me or whatever no big deal. But a whole another location come on now.

Literally just watched a City Taxi blow through a 3-way stop in my neighborhood with no intention of even slowing down. I know he saw it cause there were other cars waiting to go in other directions.Just cause we live off the beaten path does not mean you dont stop at stop signs. We live here, our kids live here. The driver drove past my turn went to a convenience store and had the law thrash me and charged my card under force. I now have legal problems I could have avoided if I hadnt taken City Taxi.

Terrible, I had reserved a cab to get me to the airport. They never bothered to call to let me know they couldnt make the pickup time. This cause me to miss my flight, miss standby and caused considerable delay and cost. I would rather walk than call these people again. TOTALLY UNRELIABLE.. CALL ANOTHER COMPANY!

This transportation is amazing. Since my car has broken down Ive relied exclusively on StarMetro but when I cant deal with them City Taxi is who I call. They are friendly, quick and have clean cars/vans.

A trustworthy local company that is run by a great family of folks who care a great deal about their community and their customers. Theyre always willing to work with you and they are REAL taxis, so none of this anonymous mess and overcharging like with Uber, Lyft, etc. Next time you are out and about, remember City Taxi because they are available 24/7!

I got ripped off!! i walk into the taxi with some of my friends to get a ride back to campus. by the time the ride was over i didnt realize that our shady driver never reset the meter. we were charged $20 when Im usually charged $7 for the same route. This is usually a great cab service, but after getting ripped off like that Im not trusting them again.-sincerely as disappointed FSU student

They are everyday ordinary folks trying to do an honest days work.

Ive used them twice. Im glad they were able to respond quickly and punctually to two early morning, last minute requests when my car wouldnt start. They did the job and were on time, so minimal expectations were met. Unfortunately my second drivers car smelled of stale cigarettes and was clearly in need of some attention from a mechanic, from the way it sounded. Also, both drivers arrived at my apartment complex, and apparently couldnt figure out where my apartment was. Even though they had my phone number (the second called ahead to find out where my apartment was), instead of calling when they couldnt find it, they circled the whole complex a few times, charging me the whole time, while I was looking out the window wondering why they hadnt shown up yet when I saw him drive by and keep going. All in all, they did the job to minimal expectations, but had an uber been available at that hour, I would have happily taken one, and would have spent less money by doing so.

These a-holes told me they had a cab on the way. Called back 15 min later to find out they were still trying to find someone. Driver said he didnt feel well couldnt pick me up. Lost time, missed flight. Currently at the airport on stand by. Thanks for nothing. Being open and calling someone to tell them you dont have a taxi is better than making them wait. I told them on the phone I didnt have time to waste. Urber had no cars available at the time.

Forget Uber people take a taxi at least u know they are safer than Uber...taxi have background checks people....not like Uber just lets any psycho Drive.....

The drivers I have dealt with are usually ok. The dispatcher seems to have a problem working and it feels like every time you call him your bothering him. On top of that, hell get upset about information that you have already provided and try to talk over you. Luckily some of the drivers I have gotten have been superb or I would not recommend this company.

Very bad cab company. I will never use this company again. Had a very bad experience with them. Driver was rude and very and very disrespectful. It was so bad that me and my wife had to call the police on him. I wouldnt recommend their services to anybody!

This is post #1 of 2 as I had very different experiences a few days apart. I used the OneLocal app to reserve an early morning ride to the airport. The driver arrived on time and from there the pleasant experience ended. His attention was primarily on his phone or the small tablet mounted in the cab, he took a very long route to the airport and reached speeds of 70 mph in a 45 mph zone. He also had no idea how to use the app so I still had to dig out my credit card at the end of the ride to pay.Post 2 of 2 (guess I cant submit completely separate reviews). Less than a week later, I made a reservation via the one local app and City Taxi called to advise me there was an issue (btw, one local is not a user friendly app). I mentioned I was coming in from Atlanta and he advised I call when we were about to take off. Which I did, he took my flight # and said theyd keep an eye out for me. When I landed, I had a text from a driver that he would be there shortly. Luggage took forever (even compared to the usual wait time at TLH) and Daryl waited... he was very courteous, friendly and a safe driver. So, very opposite from my first experience.

Company, along with their insurance, refuses to answer the phone.Driver still employed and driving as my last conversation with the manager. BEWARE!!

I have never had a bad experience with this company untill now. I waited 40 min for a cab, after they said one was on the way. I called and asked if i could get a discount and they said that they cant control what their drivers do. The driver then called me and told me he was 5 min away. As i saw him pulling up i gave him a call so he would know which way to go through the complex and he didnt answer. When i got in the car he was in a conversation with someone speaking in thier native tongue(russian?), which i can see he was talking to for atleast 20 min. i dont know if manners exist anymore cause this guy kept talking on the phone the WHOLE ride. On speaker phone. So if you can. At all cost. Dont waste your hard earned money on a company that clearly doesnt care about its clients.NEVER USING THIS CAB COMPANY AGAIN.
