They are so quick and know the area very well. I was new in Tacoma and the driver was very knowledgeable of all my conference destinations.

They didn’t need our business, I guess. Did not show up or contact us about it. Did not indicate potential untimely arrival issues when I scheduled arrival time on previous day. Gave run-around-speak on two attempts to obtain ETA. They aren’t aware apparently what a service transportation business is about. Big thumbs down, yellow express taxi Tacoma- they’ll waste your time and plans if you let them, as they did ours.

When another service failed to show up at 5am to take us to the airport, the hotel gave us the number for Yellow Express Taxi, the responded immediately and got a driver to us in 20 minutes. The driver was able to get us to the airport in time and we didnt miss our plane. Forget the app drivers use a proper Taxi service and you wont be let down.

I called for a quote to go from my house in Tacoma to Sea Tac Airport. I was quoted $75-$85 give or take $20. Seems like they could quote a little closer than that. Lyft got me there for $59+tip.

While it helps that I booked a red-eye flight, thereby neutralizing the troublesome vagaries of the I-5 freeway, Tacoma Yellow Express Taxi arrived on time at the designated pick-up location, and delivered me right on time at SeaTac. The taxi itself and cool, clean, and comfortable, and the driver was friendly and professional. Well done..!

Always on time and their fares are pocket friendly. I highly recommend them to all my friends and other passengers. So far the best cab service in Tacoma.

I called set up a ride, the girl working there didn’t even set up my taxi ride, I kept calling out of a three hour period and she kept saying I was next in line and I could hear trying to hold back her laughter, it’s been 3hrs and 22 mins now and I have yet to get A ride and I just called and she said I’m next in line there really busy but u said I was next in line the last time I spoke to you and hour prior… complete waste of my day messing with this taxi company don’t waste ur time or money.

Ordered an early morning taxi the day before my flight and my taxi arrived on time and gave me a call when he got there. Good service and clean car.

I was in a last minute jam since uber and Lyft are unreliable and cancelled my car 15 minutes before pick up. Yellow Express saved the day! I had an early morning flight on a Sunday morning and called them at 5:00am for an immediate ride to the airport. They were able to pick me up within 20 minutes and get me there in time. The taxi was clean and the driver was professional! I would absolutely call them in the future.

When youre tired of rookie uber drivers canceling call these guys they will pick you and drop you off. Great service thank you yellow express taxi.

My ride was amazing. The driver {Mike} was funny and very knowledgeable about the areas i was visiting in Tacoma and Gig harbor. To me he wasnt just a driver but a tour guide. Will definitely use them in my next visit.

Ive tried Lyft Uber Im going back to Yellow Cab

Over an hour wait time?you call that covieince? Thatsblonger then it takes to walk most places,this is just a scam.if you cant find river do not claim you have the largest fleet.you do not have the largest fleet you simply steal dispatch from the other companies like ace and fort Lewis and checkerd.

The drivers a lyft drivers. So they are not always available. I called on Tuesday May 11th around 5:32am.I spoke to the dispatch who claimed their drivers were doing lift, so there was not way to tell what time a Taxi would be available. Since it was done on my phone. I am sure we could subpoena a transcript, if needed.

Wait times are crazy long, last time I called I waited 2 hours for a cab to call me and say he was 15 mins away, then 45 mins goes by I call him back and he says they dispatched him to another pick up and had to wait another 30 for a cab to show up

I called for my daughter to get a ride to work and nobody showed up. Plus when she called to see how long it would be the guy on the phone was very rude to her.

Called the company at 7:45 for a ride at noon ... noon came and no one showed up so I called dispatch and was quoted possibly 20 minutes passed, after 32 minutes passed I called again and she told me that the gentleman called and there was no answer, which was not true after some investigation the dispatcher found out they didn’t ask for my number earlier in the morning which apparently they are supposed to do and instead typed or did not copy the correct number down from there caller ID and didn’t copy correctly by one number at the end. I was telling her of the frustration of the matter and obviously they had access to my number from 3 different calls and neglected to even try and contact me . So after physically giving them my phone number after 12:45 when I had been standing out in the rain she told me it was going to be another 20 or so minutes and to not yell at her which I wasn’t doing in the first place... not only was the female dispatcher making false accusations she had the Gaul to act like nothing was wrong and this wasn’t there fault... I’m horribly disappointed in this service and will after finally getting my ride well over an hour late write multiple negative reviews on every site that’s available and never use this service after today ever again. You guys just lost a very valuable customer !

Called from store I work at, for a customer that needed a ride, they said it would take 45 minutes, an hour later still no show, said the driver called, I gave the store number, they did not took another hour and a half to get a cab there for my disabled customer, very disappointed

Multiple things went wrong with this company:I made a reservation around noon. I didnt get a confirmation until 1250.Asked for the reservation to pick up at 100, didnt get picked up til 121. Dispatcher said there was traffic and driver was new. I looked up traffic in my city and it wasnt.Driver missed my house, so I had to run to catch him.Driver never asked me where we were going so when I volunteered the info, he complained about the distance and time.It cost me $30 more than the cheapest Uber to get to my destination in a car that smelled like cigarettes. I missed my initial appointment. If I could do 0 stars, I would. Maybe even a negative 5 stars.

This was the worst experience ever. My daughter was going to go to her first dance, her eighth grade dance. We spent a month getting ready. Spending a small fortune on the dress, hair, and shoes, etc. Then I call to order a cab at 345 for a 645 pick up. The cab never showed up and when I called to get an update after trying to get through for a half an hour. This really disrespectful young man gets on the phone telling me hes calling the police for harrassing him, when I only called to get an estimate on the time they would he here. The young man told me now no one would be coming only cause I called and tried to get through to the phone line 3 times. So long story short my daughter finally gets to the dance from Lyft and shes to late to get into the dance. All the time and money spent was down the drain. And my daughter missed her first dance. Shes still deviated and this happened 3 days ago.

Awful. Called 18 hours in advance, and they were 25 minutes late. Called an Uber instead.

The downside is how much theyre in a rush because of their schedules, they dont always make the safest choices behind the wheel. Speeding in particular.
