Im not sure why they only have 2.9 stars. I get that is technically above average, but we all know what this means when it comes to Googles reviews.Jeff was personable, straightforward, and helped in my unique situation. I have been sober for years, but required an evaluation and the following class. It was a simple process, and I would recommend people going to him if they can.

Jeff Wilson is an awesome program manager he was very thorough with his assessment and I was able to get my treatment I needed. I really got an eye opener during the Victims impact panel and I want to personally thank Jeff and his team for helping me make this transition towards a better life. The Alcohol Drug Information School class was interactive and very informative. If you want to start your road to recovery I would highly recommend Jeff and his team! He was able to get my certificate forwarded over to my attorney in a timely manner.

This place is a joke. Do not go here. Not only are they the most UNORGANIZED place to go to they are very unprofessional. Theyve lost my payments to my classes that I pay for EVERY TIME before class. Therefore they say youre in non compliance which means you get in trouble with the courts. This is in no way a joke. Im very serious. DO NOT COME HERE!!!! they are worthless. Find a different place to go. Youll waste your time and get very angry in the process

I was required to take the Victim Impact Panel and the DUI ZOOM Classes. Jeff Wilson conducted the group on line duel class and I must say - it did not feel like a required class. I think everyone should take this course. I, of course learned much from the 9 hours and appreciate the candor, education, and even sense of humor of all involved. From the assessments, to the front desk, and the help over the phone - overall, a good organization. The only thing I could say might be an improvement is the communication between the Puyallup office and the Tacoma office with regard to class days and times. The positives outweigh this one issue. Thank you Jeff Wilson!

Probably a good program but definitely super money hungry. Their financial expectations are pretty high even for working class but their “financial aid” is a $15 discount for people who’re actually seeking treatment but are struggling to get by or to make ends meet I wouldn’t suggest this program at all.

So i took this class back in october was very long and i took it for court reasons. My lawer never forwarded the information to the court for some reason and stopped talking to me after my case. I now need this information to go to my court case and they told me they have no record of me doing this class in there books and asked me what happened in this class to have proof of me doing it. I sent then a bank statement showing i paid for the class and now will not respond to my emails. They are just trying to suck more money out of me. So now it looks like i have to pay for another class just for me to get that info to the court. They ripped me off basically. Go somewhere else.

I was told today that because I had previously been requested to do an assessment and there was no significant problem I had another one come 10 years later this time due to an actual reason and that because had done one preemptively that even if I pass im going to fail because 10+ years earlier they did their job and saw i had no significant problem.. hi ho potential ******* I go. But you can file a grievance with the department of health i suggest this rigorously mistreatment from a mental health professional is grounds to remove the ability for them to cause more harm

Dont trust this place!! Josh Stone made things up in his assessment and his recommendation to the court!! Read everything that they write about you. I scored below average on their test Im 49 with no criminal background other than driving I wouldnt mind doing their program except he said I was abused never happened and tons of other lies he even admits in an email that most of it was FELLING he had gotten about me. All this place is after is your money. If they didnt the same to you contact me markdorman6@gmail

This establishment does not seem to take their responsibility seriously. I have left multiple calls and sent emails to receive an update on a report I have been court authorized to receive and I have received no updates. When calling the office and explaining why I need the report and that I am court authorized to receive, I get an audible sigh from the receptionist. For what you would think their mission is, they do little to nothing to assist those impacted.

Love this place. I went in hoping to figure how to get my life back in track. My counsellor was a woman named Janice. It was awesome just being able to talk to someone who I could tell really wanted the best for me. I really appreciate the people who work here. Super accommodating and always understanding. If you take it seriously, you’ll get a lot of it.

They lie on their evaluations and lie to your face to get more intakes. The whole industry is a racket ruining peoples lives tearing apart families all while they report falsified statistics that make them look good and create an appearance of a need for organizations like themselves in the community. CROOKED

The 8 hour course I took twice were both about 3 1/2 hours and the class was dismissed. The content was disturbing when it turned religious and the video that was presented suggested women be subservient to men, very Christian. This religion has been responsible for more anger and hatred than any other group in the history of our planet. It should be an example of what not to do... silly isn’t it.

Today was scheduled for a transfer-start phone appointment. In my previous program, I only had 6-weeks left to complete.I was in a SUD program for my drinking, I was using drinking to cope with 24 years of undealt with traumas. Due to a new job, I reached out to STOP because they offer night and weekend sessions! My correspondence via email with Janielle was great she received my insurance information and sent over a request to my previous program. When it was time for my appointment (today 4/8/20) nearly a MONTH after they received my file...First, I was asked repeatedly about my insurance of which they received a month ago and confirmed they accepted as per Janielle. Then I was asked if they could call me back because they hadnt even looked over my file yet.😳Lastly, when JEANETTE called me back they gave me unfair information saying that I had six months left to go in a program when I only had six WEEKS.Honestly, I hung up in frustration.I was then called back by JEANETTE who began to state to me that since I have been fluffing off for the past year that there was no way they could start me into a program at 6-weeks left to go.I was incredibly insulted buy her terminology and unprofessionalism! She has NO IDEA what Ive been doing for the past year. She has no idea what Ive experienced or what my family has endured or anything to quantify my Life as a fluffing off. This is unacceptable and I will not let it go.Virus or no virus, professionalism and respect should be a requirement!Assumptions are not okay.Talking to anyone, regardless of their mistakes and hardships in a condescending manner or attitude is NOT ok!If you dont want to help people and would prefer to be rude, condescending and unprofessional heartless people,Please choose a different profession.

DO NOT COME HERE!This place is about as unprofessional as a daycare. No one seems to be able to give any solid answers. I left with a no serious problem, but my report was changed by her supervisor whom I had never met or talked to. This place is only focused on getting more money out of you. The more classes and treatments they give you, the more they can charge you. Look at other options, when i was called and told I needed to sign up for 6 months worth of classes I wanted to talk with the person who made that decision. Litterally dozens of phone calls and a handfull of voicemails and not one returned or answered call. This place is a joke.

Great evaluator center. Though I no longer work primarily in the DUI defense field (as I did when I was a legal assistant), I found that the staff there when I was a legal assistant prior to law school was very amiable and responsive. Best of all, THEY DID NOT LOSE PAPERWORK OR FILE THINGS LATE WITH OUR OFFICE.

Janice Garcia has been my counselor at stop and has provided me with very helpful services in learning from my mistakes and helping me to move forward in a positive direction in life, she’s a straight up person and will keep with real with you with no judgement, if you’re truly seeking help to STOP going in a negative direction I strongly recommend Janice to be in assistance with that help.

In a time that was difficult and down right nerve racking, the staff at STOP were very helpful. STOP had experience in helping people with a DUI and knew the court process. The counselors and staff at STOP had great advice and insight. Not only did STOP help through the legal aspects, they made the treatment process comfortable. I am done with court and have been sober for 5 months. THANK YOU STOP!!!

I do not recommend coming here for anything. I went in for a dv eval and was told I needed to do a year of DV classes so I come in for the intake and wanted to ask some questions. First they were mad I didnt just sign the paper and pay them. Second the head supervisor counselor takes me into the back where she sternly ans rudely tells me I have more than one dv charge and that I have a history of dv I was the victim of dv. The only charge I have is for defending myself against my abuser she refused to read my case file and only wanted to focus on whatever she could try to twist. I have been emailing and leaving voicemails for a week and no reply maybe Ill get one now dont come here for anything and dont let a company or anyone back you into a corner
