Having used Henderson Hardwood Floors over a decade ago to convert our living spaces to hardwoods, we naturally reached out to them when we wanted to extend hardwoods to our floor with 4 bedrooms and 2 sets of stairs. Glen came by and gave us an estimate in 2019, then updated it earlier this year over email when we were ready to proceed. We pulled out our carpet, pad and staples to save money as using their crew would have cost $70 an hour. The work crew showed up the first day exactly on time and worked hard each day, completing the job a little earlier than expected. They were friendly, respectful and obviously talented craftsman. They even fixed a potted plant stain on our original hardwoods while here. Staying away from the property while they worked (noise, dust, chemicals) meant I wasnt aware of how the job was progressing, so my only suggestion for improvement would have been some kind of end of day update each day. I love my new floors!

Henderson did such a fabulous job on my floors. We have Brazilian cherry hardwood and we wanted to change the stain. Not a simple task with this dense flooring. Glen shared some of the nuances of the wood with me, and what would and would not work well. When the crew came out, they showed me several stain options in my home, so I could make the best decision possible. The finished floors are just fabulous. Not one bit of dust in my home. Beyond the great work, the crew members were fabulous, and got the job done on time. I highly recommend their services, and will use them again for all my future flooring needs.

John and Chase did a great job on my kitchen floor. This was the second time my floor had to be redone. Tacoma Hardwood Floors did the original job and my floors subsequently buckled after their workers put my refrigerator on the floor and the water line leaked. Mark from THF refused to come out and fix their botched work. Glen Henderson and his crew were wonderful. I wish I had had Henderson from the beginning!

20 years after initial installation by Henderson hardwood floors of our floors our kitchen needed refinishing and they provided us with virtually new appearing floor in three days time with all of the steps taken with the original flooring they were very careful and minimum amount of dust and we were very very pleased with the results. They may not be the least expensive but in our opinion they are the best.

This is the second time we have used Henderson Hardwood Floors to refinish our wood floors. The first time was in 2002. I didn’t hesitate to call them back this year to do the job again. We were gone when they did the job, it took 3 days. When we got home the floor was beautiful! They did an amazing job to keep dust to a minimum and clean up the job site. I would definitely hire them again! Thank-you!

Refinished 20yr old yellow birch floors with many scratches and stains, also some wood replacement. Firm did a great job, floors are much better now. Estimate was accurate, work done on time, instructions provided. Why not 5 stars? I also think that charging more to use a credit card is not good business. And the pricing was a little bit higher than other estimates for same job. (But chose Henderson anyway, due to excellent word-of-mouth from neighbors.)

Floors were beautiful, HOWEVER they charged my parents 3% on top of the fee so they could pay using their VISA card. This is ridiculous because first off, Visa doesnt charge 3%, its more like 1.5%, secondly accepting credit cards is part of doing business. You dont make your customers pay your cost of doing business. The charges associated with accenting credit cards should and usually does fall within the businesses cost to do business.

We are thrilled with our new hardwood floors! We received a clear estimate and work began on-time and the installation crew were highly skilled, courteous,and very careful about protecting the non-work areas of our home. Dust was contained and the work areas were finished beautifully. The floors are really something to be proud of. We are completely satisfied. This was not our first time installing new hardwood floors (we have done this twice before on our previous home) but this was our best experience by far. Great quality and professional workmanship.

We were pleased with the estimate and the description of how the work would be done, so we booked the job. We left town during the refinishing, and when we returned, the floor looked brand-new. My husband hadnt realized how much the finish needed redoing until he saw the new floor! 1 star is not for the business, its for the driver who wouldnt let me on to the freeway,even though I was entering at 65mph and there was a sizable gap. The driver sped up to not let me on and then basically tried to run me off the road but eventually HAD to let me in because I had no where else to go. Then (full disclosure:after I flipped them off) they changed lanes, sped around me and cut me off. Good thing I was expecting their erratic behavior and left them space but I still had to hit my breaks. Next time take your broken ghetto van and play chicken with yourself. Youre messing with peoples ACTUAL lives with your driving, considering we just had 2 teens die last week in our community due to others recklessly driving, your timing sucks. I would never hire anyone who treated human lives so flippantly.
