I wish I could give a zero star. I had my second appointment today with Julia A. Boyd. I waited months for this appointment. Towards the end of our phone session, she’s telling me she’s leaving the practice. Mind you, I have told her many personal things about me. She said she knew she was leaving at the beginning of March. Why did she not tell me at the beginning of our first session that we had last week? I would not have kept the appointment. Therapist-client relationships are built on time and trust. She is unprofessional and unethical She started telling me she was writing a book and her passion is writing. This was beyond anything I have ever seen in this industry. She also said well it sounds like you need someone to talk to. Yes, I need someone to talk to and help with with what I am going through. If I wanted to talk to somebody, I’d call up a friend. She just wanted to get paid a few more sessions without even really helping me. Extremely unprofessional behavior for someone in this business of helping people. Oh, and she told me that she told the office back in March that she would be leaving. I spoke to the office manager and she said that she told the office last week. She is a liar. I would never buy a book from her. I hope she reads this and sees what a horrible therapist she is. She made my mental health worse.
As an extremely reserved person, discussing your personal problems with someone you don’t know well is very hard. Deborah, from the start, was warm, sensitive, and easy to open up to. She has helped me heal my broken parts with her guidance, empathy, and medical knowledge; not to mention her incredible support- she’s always on your side. Looking back to where I started is a reminder of my growth thanks to her. The only downfall is I can’t take her with me when I move, but I can take the valuable tools and advice she shared.
My counselor is an amazing, compassionate person that lets me express myself in whatever way I need to. Im grateful to have them in my life and I feel that Im achieving things with personal growth that Ive never reached with previous counselors. Ive moved away from Tacoma but I *gladly* make the drive there every week. Completely worth it.
Ive had a great experience here thus far. My therapist is fantastic and has made a huge difference in my quality of life.
I called them to get help with adhd after searching the web for hours because their website said they had a whole team of associates to help and they told me they no longer have an associate to help me. I asked them if they could refer me to someone who could help and they just said no... Not to mention they put me on hold for 5 minutes just to tell me they couldnt help even though their website is plastered with adhd info as if they specialize in that area. Its completely falsely advertised and made me want to quit trying completely.
Excellent office staff, very nice and welcoming. Bonnie Snyder is an amazing councelor. Great EMDR work for betrayal trauma. Has helped me tremendously.
I made the biggest mistake of my life and scheduled an appointment with this place, they are nothing but a ripoff, i had three appointments and i showed up for all three but two weeks later I received a bill asking to pay $100 for missed appointment but i did not miss any appointment so i thought this was a mistake, i called the office and let them know about this, they said that i have to talk to the doctor but he was not available at the time so they send me to his voice mail ( dr. Greenfield) i left him a messege and explained to him what had happened, then a week later he calls me back and offers me a discount for missed appointment that i dont know about and i did not make that appointment, and I keep telling him i did not make no appointment but he ends the call and was very unprofessional and very rude . Dont waste your time and money. I went to this place to get better but i got stressed out even more .
They cancelled an appointment when I didnt answet the phone. Thats weird. I planned on going.
2nd time I have called them and they are very rude over the phone, which doesnt seem right given the field they are working in...
