Frequently will be disrespectful and then flip the script when that energy is reciprocated.Every job I’ve worked for through this agency didn’t follow covid safety guidelines and had extremely hostile work place environments with negative job culture and they simply won’t care if you bring it to their attention.Steer clear from this place.*side note; I recommend express employment professionals*

Yes, they are a GREAT ...........Temp Agency but that is all. If you think that one of the companies they send you to on assignment will hire you .... It probably will not happen. Here is my EXAMPLE. I was sent to Dansons.com in Puyallup, WA. I worked all of the hours needed to become permanent (520) I was told through a TEXT Message on my phone .....Do not report to work on Monday. The latest example of working with TERRA is this. I called to let (LAMAR) recruiter know that my job at (Funko) was to physically demanding. Next thing i know i have been Laid off because of my complaint. I worked 6 more hours before i was told by a manager at FUNKO that i had been laid off ...........LAMAR has to be one of the WORST Recruiters i have ever worked with. He only tells me after the FACT that i am not needed anymore. So, This is what you can expect from TERRA Staffing..............Not MUCH !!!

Ive had several instances where I would drive out to work only to find out that work had cancelled that day. Terra did nothing about it - no contact to me before I wasted my gas, etc. . Ive also tried for about 2 weeks now to receive money that Ive earned due to an error in my timecard and nobody responded to me when I tried to contact them.

I came to terra staffing in the beginning of the pandemic expressing to them what I was looking for they were able to find something that worked for me whether it was salary or hours or location they really take the time to listen to your needs in a job or career and do their best to provide jobs that will become permanent rather than temporary, they really want to see you succeed the entire staff has been amazing during these times by making us feel comfortable constantly checking in and if it’s not a match for you they will find something else that does match they do not give up on you! Because of them I was able to have the opportunity for full-time position I couldn’t be more thankful!

Dont work with Sydni Sheathelm she is not professional at all to top it off she talks to people like they are little kids i wish I never wasted my time with these people I would not recommend my worst enemies to this agency

Absolutely love Terra Staffing. Ive been to multiple staffing agencies in the past and Terra is by far the best. Best service, best jobs, best pay, best everything. Normally to get on with then you need to have an appointment scheduled. Well I was down in the dumps walked in and they got me to meet with someone right then and there. Ive worked for Terra off and on for 5+ years. They have placed me quickly. Betty has gone out of her way to get me in the door of a couple really good companies. About 18 months ago she got me placed in a position with a multi-national company that has tremendous room for growth. Unfortunately, the client closed the facility I was working in. After going back to Terra recently, Betty then placed me with another really good company and advocated for me in order to get me in a better position that was well suited to my skills, and higher paying. She didnt have to do that, she went way over and above, for no personal gain.My experience with Terra has been amazing, Ive worked with Lillians, Scott, and Betty. All three of them have consistently worked hard on my behalf to find me employment that helps me meet my personal goals. I cant begin to express how pleased I am with them!

I am a single mom who has been at my current day job for over 26 yrs. I was looking for weekend work to make extra money for the holidays as I have a teenage daughter. I called Terra Staffing (Tacoma branch) and talked with Betty. She emailed me paperwork to fill out and I went the next day on my lunch hour to interview. I started working the very next day (Saturday). The folks at the warehouse are awesome, both employees and supervisors. I enjoy going to work every Saturday and I also enjoy getting an extra $100 each Friday! :) Ive worked for many, many temp agencies over the years and Terra is the best! I highly recommend. Super friendly staff who were very helpful in explaining job details. Always looking out for my benefit whenever I had questions. Always seemed to have my back if there was any sort of issue and were prompt to respond. Highly recommend TERRA staffing group and Jean was my go to.

Upon completing my application in the lobby, branch manager asks if Id be ok waiting an additional 10 minutes so the office can have an ice cream party for her birthday. Very unprofessional. Andrea has horrible communication skills. I was told Id receive a call regarding updates on potential roles but never did. I had to call in because she never reached out. This happened multiple times. If you decide to work with this agency, bring cash for the parking meter outside as it does not accept cards. Id recommend Robert Half. Hands down the best group to work with.

I worked for a pretty good company through terra for 6 months, had issues with the management of that company, terra then left me high an dry, I fought for other jobs through terra but was a no go, then they stopped all communication with me, very unprofessional unfortunately. The recruiters can be very unprofessional and rude. If they have a bad day they will take it out on you. If you speak up and make a comment they dont like they will write a one sided note in your account. In addition, if you tell them you cant lift heavy and they give assignments thats heavy lifting that you cant do they will mark on your account as a negative assignment. Its not worth the headache to deal with the likes of Andrea or Barbara. Either find another staffing agency or try the Tukwila branch. Tacoma branch is rude, unprofessional, and overall unpleasant to work with.

Their systems are structured from the initial contact by phone or in person, the application process, recruiters intake, and client job interview; expectations are set. The rest is up to you to sell yourself and skills to the contractor by delivering a memorable knock your socks off interview. This staffing agency schedules job interviews versus collect names and resumes for a database.

Terrible communication. They will even tell you its terrible. We get very busy here, so even though we said we will call you, we probably will not. They were right. They never called.I called them. They cant find any jobs available for me at the moment.I search google for Terra Staffing. Three packaging positions pop up.PACKAGING... Thats putting things inside a box. I do not qualify?lol Seriously advise against wasting your time here. It is just that.

Terra staffing has nice customer service . Only thing is racist warehouses you have to get sent to like Ply Gems. They will let you go for no apparent reason while claiming you were a good worker. If you can see out side the box you will know how things are set up . Not for you but for them ! Just dont work at ply gems . Not worth it at all!!

Got me a great job within a day. I just got hired on permanently at this job and its great. I went into Terra looking for anything to get out of the Food Industry. They got me a great web editing/marketing position just based on the fact that I had coding experience. I just recently got hired on permanently and now Im making more than most people my age that I know. Its so great to know that I can go back if I ever need a change of pace again. Thanks TERRA!

Horrible staff . My daughter was rarely paid on time and she was never told she was fired. They didnt let her know until she called in to see why they havent called her for any jobs and they said she had a no call no show for 2 days for a job she never confirmed with them. I do not recommend ANYONE apply there.

To say that I am disappointed in my experience with TERRA is to say the least. Not only was my time completed wasted, on some levels I felt extremely disrespected and insulted. I set up an interview with a recruiter BEFORE I moved to the area in attempt to expedite my chances of finding employment soon after my move. During my interview I was very clear on the type of positions I was looking for, but also left the door open for other opportunities. Well, nearly six weeks later I havent hear a single word from TERRA, although they did bring me on as an associate. I have called EVERY WEEK as I was told to do, yet no one has yet to speak to me directly about any employment opportunities. Its very disheartening to say the least. Thank goodness I signed up with multiple agencies and found employment through Express Staffing in Tacoma. So my advice is if you are searching for administrative, accounting, clerical, or any other type of office work, DO NOT use this agency. Its a waste of your time.

Worst experience was payday that they deposit and then removed all out of my bank. Without notice. Said I was over paid. Then they were not able to find their error and I still have not received paperwork I requested on all direct deposits made. Hmm they on my list. Of course I do understand complexity and time. Not the best Ive worked with... but, had the same experience as Joey, below. Terra found a GREAT temporary job for me within a week and was hired permanently shortly after. Cant complain!

After reviewing my resume and application, I was called in for an interview. I almost couldn’t find any free parking, and when I did it was for 90 minutes.I got to the office, filled out their paperwork and sat in the waiting room for half an hour. I let the receptionist know I had a timer going for my parking, and without even looking at me she just said “We’ll get to you when we get to you”.During the interview, Rachel, the recruiter was rather demeaning and I felt more interrogated than interviewed even with my most basic answers and responses. I work for Verizon, and I have a history of working on special installations and interior home design, but she said I’m not qualified to be an office assistant? Which is what I was called in to interview for after my resume and application was reviewed? Complete waste of my time, and I will not be returning.

They over paid me a little on one check(it was human error on their part) then kept my entire next check which was for the week of my birthday and the lady who talked to me about it was very rude over the phone. They kept more of my money than they overpaid me. So i lost money and they ruined my 19th birthday plans to travel with my family.

I would give 0 stars if i could. First time i went in, nothing really happened because they didnt have hours that i needed. 2nd time, the girl that interviewed me gave me the choice to have the job i applied for, but i turned it down because she said i would be working with dead animals. I changed my mind later because Im desperate to work. So i called back to go forward with it. Then they made every excuse in the book as to why i couldnt have the job. Even stuff that was known when i called the make the interview. Today i called them about another job, and they finally? Were straight up with me and said they cant help me because they only help people with 6 months or more of working experience. They must have changed their rules or something, because they helped my now husband who came in 3 years ago looking for work because Hed been unemployed for a while.

After being reccomended this place, I went to the Tacoma office with my guard up from past experiences with other temp agencies. Was immediately given a chance to work. They helped me find an awesome job. Scott and company have been nothing, but awesome. I am so happy I took a chance on these guys and vice versa. Totally reccomend Terra Staffing Group!

Theyre terrible about finding assignments. Recruiters seem very temperamental as well. If anyone is thinking of applying I would go elsewhere.

I loved the assignment they sent me on but unfortunately they had issues with direct deposit. When you work you expect to be paid on time. Had to call out because I couldnt make it to work thats sad and of course payday is Friday so I sat around all weekend with noone to talk to about the issue. Also I work night shift and can never talk to someone when I have an issue.

My latest experience with them has been nothing but them telling me about jobs and then not letting me start one. I am using the bus system until my car can be fixed and it seems thats why no one wants to help. They dont think I can get anywhere on the bus so they just put me on the backburner and fill me full of hot air for months. Not to mention Chantelle just doesnt sound like she ever wants to talk and will quickly tell you shell get back to you when she finds something. She never gets back to you. They arent even supposed to tell you that, they are supposed to look up jobs while youre on the phone.Also the last person I talked to was a little sexist in my opinion. Almost didnt want to give me a warehouse job because it requires heavy lifting. My guy friend was talking to her and sles saying she doesnt think I can do the job. He then asks her how much I will have to lift and she proceeds to say I wont be able to lift it. Finally she says 50lbs. Even after he tells her Im used to warehouse jobs and 50lbs is normal for me, she still insists I cant do the job. I dont appreciate another woman saying I cant do a job just because it requires a little effort. I dontknow what made her think its okay to make sexist comments about my work ethics simply because Im female. I ended up going to Aerotek for more help and they are so much better.UPDATE: Rachelle will be your buddy until you make her look bad. Then she takes that overly trying to be nice attitude and does a 180. Still talks with the same tone just annoyed and condescending. So dont make her look bad on paper (so really, dont call out at all, even if youre sick or its an emergency) and you should be fine. Or dont bother and try to apply to these places directly. She just cares about what looks good on paper, not her humans that she gets contracts for. But thats her job I suppose. Cant expect her to actually care about the people shes helping. I mean shes getting us the job, thats good enough right?

Everyone there is really nice and they get you a job quick, almost to quick! The only complaint I have is the lady who interviewed me, she was waaaaaaay to sexy for her or anyones own good. Its hard to make yourself appear competent for employment when your trying your hardest to hold your chubby back from exploding from your slacks, if she made me stand up I would have been done for, its nearly impossible to hide a boner in slacks just saying..either than that its a great place if you need a job lickety split, just prepare yourself for some b.s monkey work sometimes .
