I accepted a position as a document control lead with this company. I live in Katy, TX and agreed to relocate to Seattle, WA. I reported for work on Nov. 15th. After being there and going through what they call orientation, my husband and I determined that this was not the ideal position for me. I returned to Katy and notified management that I would not be retaining this position. No relocation monies were afforded for this position and no per diem. It would end up being very expensive for us. After returning to Katy on Nov. 25th I contacted the HR Dept. to find out when I would be paid for the 4 days (11/15, 11/18, 11/19 and 11/20) that I worked. I did not receive any response and had to contact them several more times before I found out that I would be paid on Dec. 28th, more than a month after I left. I also found out that I was only going to be paid for 3 1/2 days, even though the Manager sent us home at noon on the 4th day. Keep in mind, they had several paydays after I left, but I was not included in those. I think they were just not going to pay me at all if I had not been persistent. After finally receiving my check, which had my name spelled incorrect and my address wrong, I contacted the owner and President of the company, Mr. Adams. I told him how unhappy I was at having this happen. He told me that his company was built on integrity and that those who leave and take from the company without giving or doing anything were wrong. I feel that he tried to make me think I was wrong for wanting to be paid what was rightfully owed to me. When I arrived there they tried to instill in me that building relationships was very important to them. I feel that they are wolves in sheeps clothing. They are all for themselves. If there was a financial reason that they could not pay me for a month, just tell me. Dont try to make it seem like I am wrong for wanting what is rightfully due me. If you say you are built on integrity, then dont just talk the talk, walk the walk.Mamie SimmonsKaty, TX
