Omg, sooo much better!!! Quality work on modifying my vinyl windshield to open. Itll be so nice to be able to get to the bow through the windshield & open the windshield vinyl for a breeze on a cold morning that turns hot under the canvas without having to remove it, also better visibility for boating in the dark. No more water dripping on the seat from the canvas front corners! Thanks for the upgrades, Ill appreciate it for years to come!

I needed a seat cushion and back cushion made for a Santa Chair I made for a dear friend. I went to Michaels Custom Upholstery for advice and a quote. After spending a lot of time with the owner (Michael) I felt so comfortable with his advice on style, material, and even color I decided to go with Michaels Custom Upholstery. Top notch service. Stopped in to see about fixing drivers seat and they saw that they could do it right then and it was just a simple fix.

They did an amazing job installing the vinyl top on my 78 Cadillac. What was left of the old vinyl was carefully removed and the new one installed. Great work. Im very pleased and would highly recommend for automotive upholstery.

Michael’s custom upholstery has excellent customer service something I am very big on.from start to finish I was very impressed if I drink coffee I could’ve stayed longer just for the conversation everyone there was helpful. This place does great work. Ive had a few things repaired and I am always satisfied.

People were nice but was quoted over $3000 to get 2 seats redone in black cloth which defeats the purpose of getting something repaired. Too proud of their work or just wanted me to go away.

I found them on the quiet but comfortable Pierce County byway on the old Waller Rd., south of the 512 Hiway where I could use their comfy covid tent with warmth amid their myriad catalogs and swatches. They gave me free quotes and gave me their card so I could notify them when I had found a proper sofa I would be rescuing. They arent allowed to let folks into their store right now because of strictures from Olympia. Sigh!!!

The craftsmanship is unmatched. Extensive attention to detail. Very nice people. I would recommend this business to all my friends.

Im very happy with my new drivers seat.I recently went through a spinal surgery that included an implant, and my old seat was not comfortable anymore. I couldnt even sit in it without discomfort.The new seat not only looks awesome, but it feels like riding on a lounge chair.Very pleased with the service and quality. Definitely bringing my other seats in for the same pampering.

From start to finish the folks at Michaels could not have been more helpful and friendly. They have a huge selection of fabric swatches and the atmosphere makes selecting a real adventure. So happy I found them and were able to have reupholstered two love seats and a chair from 1983 that needed help. They were super careful of my walls and doorways moving the furniture in and out of my home and when it came back even the exposed wood had been polished. My old furniture looks like brand new and the colors change the entire atmosphere of my home. I am so delighted with the entire process and the finished product. Five stars for everyone at Michaels. You will not be disappointed. Fine workmanship by experienced professionals.

Ive only received a quote from Michaels and it was for a sort of mission impossible rehab on an older Lazy Boy model. I found his shop space to be stocked full of so many fabric choices for auto, home and Marine. Its obvious that he runs a thriving business and you dont do that unless youre good at what you do.

I have not needed any upholstery, but have heard from others that this would be a good choice if/when I ever do... I stopped in to ask about foam rubber scraps and find the proprietor knowledgeable and very friendly. He was willing to take the time to discuss/advise, even though he quickly understood I was not a customer of upholstery.

I had a good experience with the quote process and I am looking forward to seeing the results.

I picked up my project and they came in lower than quoted and finished ahead of schedule! I have dealt with Micheal for 9 years and found him to be very personable and excellent to work with. His work has always been top notch, and his prices very affordable. I have recommended him to many of our customers and had great feedback. He always seems to squeeze in my rush jobs.

What a rip off. Went in to have two of my lounge type boat seats worked on. All they wanted to do was to redo them entirely for $2100. Talk about breaking the bank. I knew they were charging to much when we talked about needing some of the plywood on the seat bottoms needed replaced. He said 1/2” marine grade plywood is $200 a sheet. Interestingly I went to McLendon’s down the road and got a 4’X8’ sheet for $80. Talk about sticking it to the customer. Never go there again.

Michael gave me great service and quality at a fair price and quick turn around with the cushions in my camping trailer. I would recommend him to anybody. The guys in his shop were very friendly and obviously very talented.

Michael and his staff did an outstanding job reupholstering my 20 year old sofa and recliner. The best my expectations for timeliness and attention to detail. I chose a more expensive fabric and foam that where resulted in furniture that now looks better than new. I highly recommend using michaels to recover rather than replace your furniture.

I had a 50 year old leather chair which was in really bad shape. Michael and his crew were very helpful in deciding what we could do. We also had an ottoman which did not match the chair. We decided to recover both in the same leather. They made both items seem like new and they match beautifully. Were very happy with the results and would recommend Michael to anyone.

We had two family room swivel - barrel type chairs re-upholstered by Michaels. They are wonderful. My wife is a seamstress and quilter so she knows when something is done right! The pattern matches everywhere, the cushions and pillows are firm, the price was right, sure it took some time but even purchasing new would have taken the same amount of time. Almost 30 years ago I bought a good quality couch and loveseat and I had loved and cared for them through raising two kids and three dogs. But after all those years the fabric was dated and faded. I looked at new furniture, but couldnt find anything I liked as well.Michael and his crew did a perfect job of reupholstering them. I have a style of furniture that I love with beautiful new fabric. It truly is better than new--aspects of its original style really pop visually and little details give me every confidence that I have another 30 years with this couch and loveseat that I love more than ever. And the best part is that it cost me far less than a new high quality couch would have.
