Just has Zach from Mr. Rooter clear my blocked basement drain. I was initially concerned that I could not get a price till they came out to see the problem, but the fact that they came in 24 hrs. vs. the competition at 48 hrs., I took a chance.Turns out Mr. Rooter was almost $200 cheaper (competition quoted a price over the phone), and they guys were very professional and courteous!I could not be more pleased. Will definitely use them again!
They were quick to get someone out. The guy was friendly and answered all of our questions without hesitation. Gave some good advice. We were shocked with the price of the video footage needed for insurance purposes. Wish we had a slight heads up as to how much it would cost, I know it’s a case by case basis BUT there has to be a minimum and I think it’d be good for customers to know at least that ahead of time. Or told the average cost of something like that. Other than that I’d recommend this company and would definitely use them again if needed.
Installed a sump pump system in the basement. Did a high quality job and were very prompt and courteous. Would definitely use them again!!!
We could not relight our pilot on the hot water tank. We placed a service call. We were told of the initial $59. Service call fee. The technician arrived, laid down on the floor to get a good view of the view window of the pilot light. Proceeds to instantly restart the pilot light. No other work done, no other maintenance. Charges a diagnostic fee of additional $125.00 for restarting the pilot. Their time is not free, but that comes to a labor charge of about &1500. Per hour. Excessive charges. I should have inquired about other fees and charges first. At least we have hot water!
I reached out to this company after my sewer line backed up twice within three weeks and I wanted a video inspection to be done on the sewer line so I could see what was going on inside of the line. A tech (Richard) was dispatched to my location the same morning I called looking for help. Richard was very professional and knowledgeable and explained the entire process of what had to be done. He also provided my husband and I with ongoing updates as he did the work and was happy to answer any questions we had. Unfortunately theres more work that has to be done to my pipe but I live outside of the area that this company can service for that type of work. I would highly recommend this company for video sewer line inspections. The quality of the video footage was very good and I was given a copy of the recordings to keep.
Richard, our service man, showed up less than two hours after calling for service. Very professional and explained in detail the repair that was needed to our shower to get it working properly. Completed install of a new cartridge and shower handle within an hour. Very satisfied with this service and will use again when needed. Very prompt! Would recommend to others.
This company has hidden costs that they do not reveal until arriving. I believe this is bad practice and this company should be avoided based on this deception. I called for EMERGENCY services. Kayla, the person answering my call, did not disclose important information about pricing that was critical to the service. It is my opinion that they do this intentionally to jack up the cost of repair. After listening to the recording of my call it was clear that when asked about pricing, I was told it would be a flat rate for inspection of $49 plus a fixed rate for the repair after inspection. I would be responsible for the $49 no matter what. I agreed to this as was evidenced on the playback of the call. When the plumber opened up my work order, I saw a flat rate of $175 for opening up the area that need to be inspected. THIS WAS NOT DISCLOSED on the call and Kayla knew it needed to be opened based on my description, hence the hidden undisclosed fixed up charge. The bigger issue with this is I canceled another plumber who disclosed everything. I specifically stated on the call for clarity so let me understand it will cost $49 for the inspection and then the plumber would give me a fixed estimate for repair she stated yes as was recorded on the playback. That was not true. They wanted $49 +$175 to open up the ceiling before they could estimate the job. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE.
Tyler was knowledgeable and professional. He did a great job! Its hard to find great service. He exceeded my expectations! Im definitely a repeat customer!
We had clogged toilets in our home late Wednesday, we called Mr. Rooter, an appointment was scheduled for the next morning. Upon arrival a technician named Tyler began his diagnosis of our problem. He was so courteous and explained what he would be doing to fix our problem. After two hours of working on the project Tyler said the equipment he had was not adequate to unclog the drain. He then said he was going back to his business location and get a larger truck. This location was over 30 miles each way. Upon his return Tyler once again kept us updated on what he was doing to unclog the drain. After forty five minutes Tyler approached us with a large smile and said the pipes were now unclogged .The reason I am writing this review is because I am so impressed with the professionalism and work ethic that Tyler demonstrated. I would Highly Recommend Mr. Rooter for any problems you may have.
We called on a holiday for service and left a voice message. We were contacted the next day asking if we still needed service and when I said “yes” a service person made a visit that same day. He diagnosed the problem and said we didn’t need to replace the water heater. He had the part the next day and the heater was fixed. Mr. Rooter was recommended by my sister who had a very positive experience with them also. I would highly recommend them to my friends and family.
He serviced our sump pump system, replaced and mounted piping and cut new pit covers. Awesome work and he was super helpful.
Great service. Did an excellent job. The technician was very friendly and explained everything. Im very pleased and will definitely use them again.
The response from Mr. Rooter Plumbing was prompt. Richard (the plumber) was professional and friendly. He did the needed work well. He made good recommendations about further work needed The personnel I spoke with from the office were pleasant and helpful
Showed up within an hour of placing a call. Clean, professional and unclogged the shower drain and didnt make a mess.
Great service. They did a good job and came fast but charging $150 for just coming on a non holiday Saturday compared to $50 on a weekday is excessive. It took 20 minutes to fix the problem and it was over $400 after senior discount.
So pleasant to speak with.Very helpful with my questions.
I was happy with Alexis assistance in scheduling an appointment the day of the call, and Zachs professionalism and ability to quickly assess and fix the problem at our office building. It wasnt a cheap fix, but I knew that going in - what I was happy about was the upfront disclosure and ability to quickly get the job done.
Since my husband was terminally ill I had to find someone to repair my clogged sewer. On 4/21/2017 I paid Mr. Rooter $258+ to clean and inspect my sewer line that was backing up into the utility tub. They gave me a cost estimate and scope of work to perform a sewer trap replacement for $3,890. I paid them $1,500 and entered into a contract. They began on 4/25. They pointed out the lateral pipe coming out of my basement and they worked all day but, at EOD they said it would cost more to complete because of water and soil issues. They filled the hole. Next day they asked for an additional $5,750. I felt I had no choice but to agree. They re-dug the hole that they filled the previous day damaging the driveway and sidewalk and claimed they could not locate the sewer pipe they had showed me previously. To complete the job they would return the following day, install a hanging sewer system and hook it up to the main sewer line for an additional $9,709 -- promised completion 4/27. We are now over $20,000. They arrived on 4/27 and again re-dug the hole they filled the previous day and installed a hanging sewer system along the inside basement wall but did not connect it to the main sewer system. At this point the hole was as big as my entire front yard and soil was collapsing, compromising the foundation and clogging the main sewer system. At this point the Village of Minoa confronted Mr. Rooter employees who admitted they could not perform the work. The Village shut them down and ordered them off the site due to incompetence. The Village finished the work themselves on May 4. I was left with sewer pipes hanging in basement, ruined driveway and sidewalk, totally destroyed front and side yard and a credit card bill of over $20,000 plus repair costs.I have spent 2 years of countless phone calls, letters and meetings trying to resolve this and have had absolutely no relief from Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Great Syracuse or their home office in Waco, Texas. Given the circumstances at the time, I felt I had no options, but I hope no one else is foolish enough to do business with this company!!!!!!!
Tyler was knowledgeable, neat, answered all my questions, just an all around good experience. I have always used Mr Rooter.
We called this business to install a basic kitchen tap, single control. We had purchased the taps ahead of time. We dont live in Syracuse or we would have fixed the tap ourselves. Standard sink, etc. They told us that the tap we bought wouldnt fit and that they would provide one for us. So, $49.00 to get there, which i understand, but total bill of $492 to install a basic tap is outrageous!! I dont believe for one minute that the tap we purchased wouldnt fit. Would never ever call these guys again.
The man that came to install my new sump pump was very professional and patient with me . What was suppose to be a service covered by my home warranty wasn’t . However I had him do the service anyways because he was truly a nice professional person . I would 100 percent use this service again if this is the quality of people they have working for them. ..
Great customer service! Arrived on time. Very professional. Answered my questions.
Timely quality service from beginning to end. Cleaned out plugged sewer from house to vent.
Called as soon as I saw water heater starting to flood basement. Technician was dispatched and arrived within the hour. He made every attempt to repair it before the determination was that a new one was required. Gave a fair price and worked quickly to remove the damaged unit and install a top of the line new one, explaining all we needed to know about its operation and maintenance. Friendly and knowledgeable technician. Have used this company in the past and will continue to do so in the future.
We experienced an overflowing drain that started at 1:00 AM. We promptly called Mr Rooter to get emergency service. We’ve been draining our walk in shower every 6minutes just to keep it from overflowing into our kitchen. Now, at just after 6:00 AM we still haven’t gotten word from the service man as to when he is getting on the road. If he’s on the road at another emergency then shame on me. If he’s lying in bed waiting for 7:00 AM then shame on Mr Rooter. I guess. Emergency service only applies from 5-10 PM and starts again after 8 AM. Good luck if you encounter a problem at 1:00 AM. Get out your bucket every 6 minutes until the decide to show upNot a happy “customer “EricCicero, NY
Our entire house was backed up. I called a different plumber first and after arriving I quickly realized he wasnt the man for the job. He knew nothing about the type of septic system we had and after I explained it to him, he tried to plunge the trap in front of the septic tank. He then said the issue was elsewhere and asked me if I wanted to dig up and replace effluent pump. I asked him to leave and called Mr. Rooter. They arrived very quickly and immediately diagnosed the issue and used a power auger to unclog the trap in front of the tank. He then explained the root cause of issue which is a settled line leading into the tank. He used a camera to show me exactly what was going on. They are coming back this week to dig up and repair this line. Awesome customer service and extremely knowledgeable.
Company came to our house to look at a well tank. He was knowledgeable but the quote was very expensive. We were going to move forward and use their services, but they did not return calls to schedule the service. After calling them, we were told they would call us the next day. We decided to use a different company when we did not hear from them. This other company was much more knowledgeable with a fair price. We would not recommend Mr. Rooter as a first choice for anyone.
Mr. Rooter s services were very professional and courteous. The plumber came on time as scheduled and did an excellent job. The plumber came in wearing his mask and booties on his shoes and was clean and proficient in his work.
Arrived ahead of schedule and quickly (and cleanly) cleared the clog.
I had a leak coming from my kitchen faucet leaking down to the basement. The technician was professional and came in and diagnosed the problem quickly. The cost was a bit pricey, but they did a good job .l would use and recommend them again.
The company is very responsive and is very helpful with notifications as to when our technician would be here. Our technician was very knowledgeable courteous respectful and informative while doing his job completely concisely and within the time limit they were told us about.
My my outdoor spigot had burst. Its a 120 house and parts of it were put together rather shoddily. The nice man who came out had all kinds of problems getting it fixed, but even so he tried to keep the cost as low as he could, due to Covid related hardships. I cant even begin to tell you how grateful we are and now the spigot is fixed and can be shut off for the winter! Were so happy. Thank you so much.
Technician did a great job finding where pipe was clogged.
Very responsive, quick fix, worked to keep everything neat and clean.
They always provide the best service
Ran into a problem with our toilet we tried fixing it ourselves for hours four people in a one-bathroom dwelling not good called mr. Rooter figuring I will probably have to wait till tomorrow but nope they sent me an appointment for that late afternoon and somebody canceled their mid-afternoon appointment they called me and asked me if I wanted them to come now and they did I am very happy with the service that I received both times theyve been here thanks mr. Rooter for being there when we needed you.
Not only horrible -- DANGEROUS! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!! They did MASSIVE damage to my house by pulling a toilet to fix a shower clog!! The toilet was LOWER than the shower drain, and dirty sewage poured through the house! THEY DID NOTHING TO ADDRESS THE DAMAGE!! Water damage, sewage, etc. Their field manager came and looked at the destruction and offered a free sewer inspection. FOR THOUSANDS IN DAMAGES?!? They should never be allowed into another home. (Yes, this is my real name, and yes, I will back all of this up.)
We were told they would do a free estimate to do some plumbing work for us. The morning they were supposed to come, they called to tell us there would be a $50 charge. We cancelled
They just didn’t fix the problem. And when I had to get it fixed AGAIN they did not offer to refund my money. Go with someone else, they have a bad reputation. They offer to come back and “take a look” and fix what they couldn’t in the first place. Why would you want them to come back if they couldn’t fix the problem the first time? Call someone else. Special shout out to Kathy and Duncan for being super unhelpful. Just remember a satisfied customer may tell a few people, an angry customer TELLS EVERYONE. Save your money and find someone else. They cost me $700 and were not able to fix the problem. It reoccured shortly later. If they had any decency they would refund the money. But they don’t. Thanks for nothing!
The service team were efficient and kept us well informed about a tricky sewer problem we were dealing with. Would definitely recommend!
The team from Mr. Rooter was amazing. Would I recommend them? A thousand times yes!
Personal, courteous and cleaned up after finishing each day. Everytime I use them, Im more than satisfied with their work. Ill definitely be using them again.
Friendly, timely and competent
This is the first plumbing company I’ve consistently liked working with. We signed up for their preferred customer plan on their first visit, which doesn’t cost much at all, and have been very satisfied with the level of service we have received. We get a discount on every one of our service calls, and we are a priority for service when we do call. I’ve never had to wait more than a day. Usually they send someOne over within a couple of hours. Their service professionals are personable and competent, they wear facemasks to protect us from the Covid virus, and they tell us upfront what the repair is going to cost and stick by that estimate!! I highly recommend them.
Technician was very polite and professional. Provided an estimate up front and stuck to it.
Zach arrived and listened to my problem. His experience led him to my issues and it wasn’t what I thought it would be. My problem was fixed and I could not be happier.
Great service and they were able to come fix our tankless water heater the same day! Will definitely be using this company from now on!
Prompt and professional service. Happy with the outcome.
Tyler was absolutely professional and very educational. We will use Mr. Rooter again for any plumbing needs.
Service rep was great. Friendly and made sure he took care of our problem. Thank you
They were quick to arrive, explained what they thought might be the problem, and then fixed it. Friendly and knowledgeable guys. Fair price to get me back in working order.
Wouldn’t bring my business anywhere else. Honest, on time, confirms and follows up on appointments, explains the job to satisfaction. I can’t remember the last time I dealt with a company with this polished approach!Let’s face it: no one is ever happy about having to deal with or pay for the cost of this kind of service, but when it is handled properly and the transaction is the cleanest part of the job, do yourself a favor and call Mr. Rooter of Greater Syracuse. The two technicians, John and Zach, who came to our home to do the work, were professional and clean. They took the time to answer questions and share their findings as they proceeded. When I had a more in-depth question, they put me in contact with John Wayne, Manager via telephone, who was always made himself availabe. Before even starting the job, John insisted to my 90 year old mother, to allow him to speak with one of her children so that he could explain the job thoroughly so that there was no confusion or thought that an elderly was being taken advantage of! I mean, who does this? I applaud them.I was thoroughly impressed. When John and Zach left at the end of their long work day, our property was left in the best condition possible in light of all the work performed. They let us know when they were leaving for lunch, when they were done and again, available to answer any of my questions.I highly recommend!
Charged me $49 just to set foot in my house to give me some crazy estimate of almost $600 to do the work that most companies in Central new York New York would have done for $100-$200 I wound up having another company do it for $97.20. Mr. router is one of the greediest companies I have ever dealt with I can’t believe they’re in business: I should’ve called the Better Business Bureau before calling them. Please do not use this company you will get ripped off I wonder how many people they have ripped off in Central new York?
Same day service, on the Saturday before Christmas without the inflated weekend emergency rates. Dispatchers kept me updated on the status of my service although the arrival was outside of the originally stated appointment window. The expertise and knowledge of the team ensured they were able to identify the problem instead of the quick fix. They provided an up front price that was accurate. They were clean and respectful of the property and the staff was friendly. Same service done by a competitor 5 years ago and paid close to double.
I called for a clog and sewer blockage and they found a break in the line. They got me scheduled quickly and took care of all of my needs. All of their staff were professional and considerate and took the time to explain whenever I had questions.
The technician was very helpful, friendly and went the extra mile to resolve our issue. He even called the towns Highway Department out to locate our vent in the yard because it was somehow completely buried. Ive used Mr. Rooter twice now and have been completely satisfied both times. I would recommend to anyone.
Cordial, polite, effective technician. Problem solved quickly - clogged kitchen drain. Left work area clean.
Professional, Extremely knowledgeable respecrful and very good priced. I am so satisfied with the delivery and services that I received from this company that I cannot rate them any higher. The staff was extremely effective and efficient. I had an emergency plumbing issue and without a doubt I would recommend this company. Thank you for all the hard work and dedication your company does.Respectfully,The Sanchez Family
I cant say enough about the exceptional service we received from Mr. Rooters after hours call service and the two technicians, Nick St. Croix and John Wayne, that helped us resolve our plumbing nightmare. The after hours customer service rep. was extremely understanding, especially when I called her at 11pm on a Saturday night in a panic, to explain that we had just discovered our sewer line must have been plugged and we had a toilet and deep sink in the basement backing up and over flowing. She empathized with me, and then got right to work getting a technician scheduled to assist us. Both Nick and John Wayne were beyond courteous and extremely knowledgeable. They explained the causes of our plumbing issue, and how they were going to resolve it...in detail. They were patient, answering any questions we had with ease, and truly putting our minds at ease. We sincerely appreciate all of their efforts.
We ended up having a problem that escalated much more than anyone expected...they came back day after day until everything was fixed... very friendly...professional....and the quality of the work is excellent...thank you...John...Mark and Blake...
John Wayne and his Journeyman Tyrone just completed a days worth of work at my home.John Wayne is obviously a very knowledgeable and professional Plumber and his assistant Tyrone displayed professionalism and pride in his work.Task was detailed before hand and met or exceeded my expectations.Clean and neat! Will consider them first the next time I need professional Plumbing services.
Mr. Rooter of Syracuse has performed two complex, involved jobs for me recently on rental property. After trying less expensive, bargain priced repairs (which both failed shortly thereafter. ) Extra Kudos to John Wayne who took the time to how me the true cause of the issues, and guided me in getting the correct long term solution. In addition the crews were on time, neat, and very professional. Calvin Craig
Matt was great, very quick, efficient, and professional.
Installed new main water line. Fantastic job.
As first time home buyers we didnt know what to expect with our first experience hiring a plumber. John Wayne explained everything perfectly and worked quickly and efficiently. Hes such a friendly, personable guy and extremely trustworthy. Hes a keeper and we appreciate his help very much.
The install job was tidy and the technician was friendly and helpful. The only downsides are that I felt the price was a little on the high side. It would have also been helpful to get a demonstration and verification of the install after completion - all I got was a verbal reassurance that everything was OK. Other than that I am satisfied.
Weve had no end of problems with our sewer line over the past few months, and several other plumbing companies just scratched their heads and kept on snaking the line. Mr. Stewart and his crew quickly assessed the problem, but through a careful process of working through progressive cleaning options. They explained everything at each step and just installed a new sewer line that improves on the previous one significantly. They were efficient and professional -- even friendly. Well call them again in the future, and would also be just as happy to run into them in town.
Nick came out on time on the day scheduled. He was incredibly polite and courteous. He had a big job, replacing quite a bit of galvanized piping and 2 water heaters which required him to be on site for almost a 12 hour day. He was as pleasant at hour 12 as he was at hour 1; I cant say enough about his professionalism. Price quoted prior to work on the free appraisal was the price charged. I would definitely call Mr. Rooter again.
John Wayne Stewart was very efficient, quick and accurate to repair a severe plumbing issue on my property. John explained the issues well and is affordable. Two months later, myself and my family would like to give special thanks to Rick Martino and stress our gratitude to him for having to revisit our property and work for two hours to clear our initial problem. I fully rec. this tech to all.
On 10/30 John Wayne Stewart and an Associate visited our house, we were having slow draining and had a minor backup during a time of heavy use on one occasion. He almost immediately determined that it was a clog somewhere between us and the road. He said that he would fix it and it would be $382 for this visit. This is my entire week’s wages, so I assumed a significant amount of work would be involved. They set to work and almost immediately stopped saying that it was unclogged but that was not in fact the actual problem. He had been condescending to me this entire time. At this point I was skeptical that he had any idea what the real problem was. The new theory was the bottom of the P-Trap in the front yard had broken out and was flooding the pipes with sludge causing the backup and would have to be replaced. His estimate for this would be $3500+ with no financing. I was not biting. To demonstrate the problem he shoved a long metal rod down the stack in the front yard and told me to feel the hole. I felt a sludgy bottom of a pipe. He warned that if this was the problem it would back up again within the week. Sure enough on the morning of 11/2 we awoke to a small river of sewage running to our sump pump drain in our basement. We were less then pleased and call Rotor Rooter again to come and clean out the pipe a second time and recheck the problem. Here my husband was available to listen and make his own opinion on the problem and John Wayne Stewart. He also had my husband feel the bottom of the pipe and as well he did not believe that it was broken. While he was still being extremely condescending to my husband and me even while I was not around. He then rooted the pipes again and instructed that if we did not get the P-Trap replaced this would keep happening. There were several times that he said “He would bet the price of the job that the P-Trap had a hole in it”. Also he told us that this job had to be done by a licensed plumber in our area trying to force our hand. After he left we called several plumbers and the town and all instructed us that we could do it ourselves. So we did. Low and behold the P-Trap was in great shape, but filled with debris that he had knocked loose, whether or not this was intentional. This could be a running scam, since as a trained professional he should have been able to determine, as we had that the pipe was solid, not broken. This goes against all codes and values by Mr. Rooter. We will never be recommending your company to anyone because we just invested $1000+ to fix a problem that didnt exist. Thank you Mr. Rooter.
It was a good visit! I would highly recommend to others!
Professional service, friendly staff. Extremely satisfied and will not hesitate to use in the future. Was made to feel like a valued customer.
John Wayne did a wonderful job, first helping us out with a terrible sewer back-up problem and then, coming right back and without question, removing a toilet installed earlier in the week and immediately exchanging it for what we had initially wanted. All this with a courteous and professional manner. He certainly is a wonderful advertisement for your company! So glad we signed up for their Advantage Program!
My entire septic system collapsed and my leach field was old, dated and would clog easily. I then met John Wayne and company of Mr. Rooters, who managed to put a full system into my property which, basically, is a rock quarry! Mr. Waynes courteous attention and prompt response made an otherwise stressful event one that I could be content with. While the city of Syracuse wont put a sewer line to my house because they said there is too much rock, John Wayne rolled up his sleeves and said (in John Wayne fashion) Let ME take care of it, partner! He did. GREAT job!
Five stars for an amazingly awesome job... they were professional timely and fixed my leaking shower in no time. Thank you!!!!
Fast service, quality work, and reasonable prices
John Wayne and his crew were amazing. Very knowledgeable, courteous, and efficient. They installed a completely new sewer line for us in a day, adapting to unexpected issues as they arose. Absolute professionals, would call again.
The work that was done is fine. However, the technician dented my dryer in 3 places after fixing a pipe above the dryer. When I reached out to see what could be done, they said the tech said he didnt do it and that was it. I told them, even though I have pictures as proof and its a brand new $900 dryer, there was obviously nothing more I could do. I said I would, however, never contact them again to do work for me and would spread the word to my friends and family. They then sent me a $25 off coupon for future services - it was quite insulting. Not pleased with any of it.
They delayed on first appointment, then canceled next two appointments for my home in Camillus. I do not recommend this company to any homeowner looking for a plumber. Now I must find another plumber to help figure out why the basement is flooding.
Frank Johnson says, “they did a professional job and I look forward to doing business in the future. Credit to John Wayne of Syracuse Mr. Rooter.”
Very professional and knowledgeable cost was comparable to every one else. The crew that came to my house was great. I will be using them again.
Our plumbing tech was not only knowledgeable about the devices but he was also thorough in cleaning our system. We determined that the previous owners of our home had issues that they tried to correct on the cheap, and had not only gone from the basement to the yard access pipe! The had also replaced the access test plug with a pic smaller ill fitting plug that they silicone rubber sealed, to fill the loose void! Our serviceman had to go get a proper fitting replacement test plug, that he also had to adapt down to fit. It sealed properly, perfectly and no leaks!!!We watched and interacted with our Mr Rooterman the entire time as he cleaned our system and even watched as he ran the camera through our 70yr old system. We were delighted to see first had that our system was not only still solid piping with no breaks but also free flowing and clear. Now to top off our appreciation for the high quality of service we received, we offered a gratuity to our Mr Router. He took his hand back and graciously and respetfully said that it really wasnt necessary! WOW!We saw him get spayed by black smelly sludge a few times. He earned our appreciation, not only from performing the services but also for the personable way he related and interacted with us.He deserved it!The frontline people are the Face Of The Company and are the faces you see when you think of a company. We highly recommend Mr. Router of Syracuse and they will greatly benefit from employees like our Mr Router Serviceman!!
Although its hard to love having any work done on your Septic system, I truly appreciate the professional care and excellent outcome provided by John Wayne and his crew. He walked us through all of the steps, answered all of our questions, made sure the work was done on time, and has already followed up and I believe will continue to do so if needed. Thank you.
Nick Buck. Remember that name. Nick Buck. If you ever have any plumbing problems call Mr. Rooter and ask for Nick. Hes great! He works hard, works long, always has a smile on his face, is courteous, knowledgeable, and just a very nice guy. We had our cast iron pipe spring a leak on a Friday; it wasnt until late afternoon that it was discovered. By that time water was all over our basement floor Great - who are we going to get at this late day and hour. Called Mr. Rooter and they sent Nick to us. He assessed the problem, which turned out to be a very big problem. Since it was the weekend Nick patched up things so we would not be without a toilet/shower for the weekend. He was here until way after 7pm that night. First thing Monday morning (8 a.m.) he was back with a smile on his face and started work. And work he did! Sawing up our sidewalk, digging a trench to reach old pipe, cutting a hole in our house foundation, disconnecting pipe from our first floor down to the basement, removing the large broken pipe, sealing that off and then putting in a new PVC pipe, running it through our cellar wall, laying additional pipe in the trench he had dug, hooking it up to our septic tank, covering the trench back up, cleaning the mess he had made, taking away debris, making sure we were satisfied with the job, and finally leaving close to 7 pm. He looked exhausted but had his smile! You may not know me, but let me assure you, if you need plumbing help, Mr Rooter and Nick Buck are the folks to call. We will definitely recommend both to our family and friends in a heartbeat! Nick Buck does his company proud!
Our sewer was backed up and another plumber referred us to Mr. Rooter. John Wayne Stewart came and fixed everything in minutes. Definite expertise and great customer service. Very pleased with this company.
John Wayne Stewart and his crew did a great job diagnosing my sewer problem as a bad trap outside on my main sewer line. Mark and Darryl came a few days later to dig up and replace my trap and install a new clean out. Very professional and thorough. Highly recommend Mr Rooter for any plumbing job.
John Wayne, Mark and Nick(who did the dig and repair) are genuinely nice people and very knowledgeable in their field. Things were explained carefully to me and my new sewer line was completed expertly and quickly with little inconvenience and interruption to me. These guys are good!
Incredible work & professionalism. This was the team I should have called first. I urge my family and friends to do the same. Stop searching, this team will bring you peace-of-mind and outstanding work!
Will definitely use them again
Technician arrived within promised time window, wore a mask, and completed the job of replacing a failing kitchen sink faucet well and without issues.
Very happy with service.
Prompt and honest service, will call again if needed
I called looking just for an estimate on a Saturday but they were able to send someone out for a no obligation estimate. I was concerned about having to pay OT since it was a weekend but they told me they do not do OT for weekends. I thought what do I have to lose. An hour later Chuck showed up and not only installed my new faucet for a reasonable price but also cleaned up the old DYI job that was under my sink before making it so I could actually use the shutoff valves which were oriented in such a way that made it hard to use them and they were leaky. He not only did the work I asked but made everything look significantly better adding the much needed professional touch to my bathroom. But he didnt just stop there! For no extra charge over his previously quoted price he tightened up the fixture in my bathtub that was leaking! I will be calling Mr. Rooter again! They also offer a discount program which I plan on purchasing at some point since I own a rental property. After a one time fee you are entitled to discounts from Mr. Rooter and other affiliated companies. Call these guys they are great!
Very efficient and polite. Will use again
Dont bother calling. You are charged a dispatch fee of 49 dollars and then another 300 dollars when they come to your home. Even though the website says no overtime charges and free estimates. False advertising at its best. Do yourself a favor and call Roto- Rooter and get the coupon offline.
Got a sewer problem on Thanksgiving day. Mr Rooter came out the next morning and found major root growth in my old pipes. Had to dig out and replace a large chunk of the pipes in my basement. Not pleasant, but necessary. I am very happy with the Mr Rooter team - on time, professional, respectful and they try to keep the work area clean. I will use them again for my plumbing needs.
We had an emergency, and Mr Rooter was available 24/7. The plumber that came out was courteous, knowledgeable, and a very hard worker. The project was expensive, but I was pleased with the results
Took 3 days to respond to my request. Ending up fixing the problem myself 10 minutes before they came over. Yet they still charged me $50 for stepping into my house for less than 5 minutes. COMPLETE RIPOFF. Go with a different plumber if you can
Nick the Tech was right on time, very professional and courteous, he diagnosed the problem quickly, and before I knew it he was done, no surprise charges and everything was done as per his estimate. I will definitely call them again if I ever have plumbing issues.
