It took awhile to get scheduled but not unlike everything else today. Repair was done in a professional manner.
The tech (Dave) came on time. Was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Had the problem diagnosed and fixed within the hour. Very pleased with the service and price.
They need a box for services not completed! Horrible business to try to business with. They like to pass the buck to other companies. They billed the warranty Company for services they never completed, and completely dropped the ball on orders that they never even placed! We recommend they be dropped by extended warranty Company and they completely agreed to do just that, it wasnt the first complaint they had had about county wide. Do yourself a favor use another company and save yourself the headache!
Arrived on time. Quick to diagnose problem. Had part in vehicle. Was out of here in less than 30 minutes. He was very professional. We will call this company again when we have another appliance that needs to be fixed.
Good place for used appliances. Showroom is fairly small and selection is limited. Seems as though majority of warehouse stores items yet to be fixed for sale. If your in a bind and need a replacement appliance this may be the place for you. Keep in mind if there is a semi new looking item they will have it priced as close to retail as they can get away with. But you can get a 10 year old used fridge for 250 bucks if your hurting.
Multiple tripsFreezer on brand new fridge wouldnt go under 19 degrees. Tech showed up and said thats normal little lady, they dont get that cold anymore took all our paperwork and left. When I heard this I scheduled a second trip because it is supposed to be 0 degrees. Tech never called to estimate a time as his office stated he would. When he did call at 1PM he said he would be there in 5 minutes and I was 30 minutes away. He would be out of the area by then . The tech lied and said he got my voicemail earlier and it was full (I confirmed it was not full) and Told me to call office and reschedule, Good luck and hung up.I have heard nothing but bad things about them and they deserve less than 1 star!
The repair tech was extremely dismissive, told me my dishwasher didnt work because I dont rinse my dishes (I do but he insisted I dont). He told us that in order to secure the dishwasher to the cabinets we NEEDED to order a specific bracket, and couldnt use the dishwasher clips. Well, he was wrong about all of it and its finally fixed by someone who knows what they were talking about Ill never use this company again.
John was fine. The company as a whole.... not impressed at all. The installer (John) got here on time. He was very nice.( NONE of this is his fault.) I gave him the part which I had already ordered through Maytag and showed him to the oven. It was a broken glass door. ABSOLUTELY NO NEED for any diagnostic visit. When I called I was simply told that the repair would run $120-$160. THAT IS IT. BUT after they couldnt do the repair (because they didnt have tape?) I’m told just before he leaves there’s an $87 charge for the visit???? What visit??? You stood in my kitchen calling parts distributors and your manager about all of the stuff you SHOULD have done PRIOR to the repair visit. They had the model and part number. They want to charge me $87 because THEY didn’t have double sided tape? That is not how the world works. I gave them the part and model number when I initially called. This is THEIR job to know HOW to install it and have the necessary tools….it is their ONLY job. The basis of their entire business model. It’s why we hire them and nobody pays for failed attempts. (especially with an undisclosed secret “diagnostics visit” fee at the end of the failed “repair.” )On my first 3 calls to the office I thought to myself how rude the lady was. She seemed like she was bothered to even have to answer the phone to take my call. I was willing to let that treatment slide…now I see its how the company is run apparently. No option for ZERO stars…so I guess they get ONE star for finding the house. OH BONUS !!! Guy shows up in the middle of a pandemic and walks into my house with NO MASK!!! ZERO covid friendly sanitary efforts. Really????NOT HAPPY.
Excellent service at a fair price. I had my dryer completely dissasembled and repaired for less than $200. Highly recommended. Some of these other negative reviews are completely rediculous.
Service tech Mike was very knowledgeable and diagnosed the problem quickly.Back up and running in no time.
They did a first class job! It wasnt an easy fix but they got thru it i lost NO groceries and i highly recommend them!
WOW so rude and unprofessional. Never been treated like that on the phone. I cancelled my service call. These people no nothing about customer service. Do not grant them benefit of your business.
Rude receptionist so blasé about them calling a wrong number, not even attempting to come to door after I sat all day waiting. I didnt give wrong number, whirlpool did. I got angry, and so they told whirlpool they wont come here now. I hated them 30 years ago for poor service, i see nothing has changed. Only business they get is contracted business. So not coming here is now a blessimg, I dont have to have their bad service anymore. When you give an 8 hour window, with no smaller time, then cant bother to even attempt to knock, yeah poor service. And should you be angry about poor service, they tell you you arent getting their service. No real loss there.
Great place for appliance parts and used appliances.
Brought in a Wolf microwave that had just died. County Wide diagnosed the issue in 24 hours and had the repair completed in less than a week, which included ordering the required part. They are responsive, professional, and reasonably priced. Would definitely work with again.
I was supposed to receive a call between 8 and 9 am this morning. The person called earlier and wasnt happy that I didnt answer. He also called yesterday when I was not expecting him to call, he gave me a hard time for not calling him back, even though I told him I had worked 14 hours yesterday. It all started when they said they would be at my home and never called to say they couldnt come. Wow...they seemed to think that they are the only ones that are correct. Strange and not very nice at all. Once we got through the b.s. the person helped me and even seemed normal. Just not great business.
Ive used them several times and the repair folks I have worked with are very nice and always seem quite knowledgeable. Dispatch has been pretty good about scheduling a timely visit, as long as it’s not an emergency. I haven’t ever found anyone to be rude on the phone etc as others have reported. But on two different occasions they’ve ordered the wrong part which has extended the repair time. Obviously if it’s an important appliance and if you are a busy working person who can’t wait at home at anytime for repair visits, that is quite frustrating.I get the sense their fees and charges are reasonable, but it’s true that they don’t warn you that the first visit is always just a quick diagnosis (not a fix) which will cost non-refundable 80$ regardless. (This is not unusual and should be expected, but they should probably mention it just to make sure people know.).Because the parts problem has happened more than once (it’s not the repair person’s fault— it’s been correct on the order form I’ve signed) I’m hesitant to use them again. I’d use them if I can’t find someone else better.
Very knowledgeable staff and my parts were available the same day.
Very polite and honest didnt do anything he didnt have to do
Crooks overcharge did not mention service call was one hundred dollars where others are only $40.00 couldnt even fix the problem.outrageous! one hundred dollars for a short drive and 10 minutes!
Called on a Monday and they had someone over by Tuesday. The technician was pleasant. It was an easy fix on my dryer that took 10 minutes but they still charge you the base service fee, which is reasonable, but a high cost for the simple fix I had.
Professional and knowledgeable technicians. Fantastic customer service.
Great Prices,People,and Service.
Couldnt tell you. I emailed them last weekend and havent heard back!
Very poor customer service representative who answers the phone. Never had any one hang up on me after being told they are rude on the phone. If it wasnt for Lowes Service contract I would never go to this company or recommend anyone because of the woman who answers their phone. However, the technician is awesome. Get another person who has class and Professionalism to answer your phone.
Mike the repairman gets 5 stars. He is professional and knowledgeable and has been with Countywide for over 30 years. However, the woman that answers the phone should be fired. She is rude and doesnt pass on messages. She has the personality of a sock and is miserable. She should not be answering the phone or dealing with the public
Called County Wide on three separate occasions, each time the first available appointment was two days out, $75.00 service fee. Used them once, service was acceptable, tech arrived on time. The other two times I went with a local owner operated business. Each time I was able to speak directly with the owner, not a call agent. Owner performed work, not an employee who received OJT. Neither of them charged a service fee, just time for labor. Recommend that you call one of the highly rated, owner operated businesses that are listed on Google rather than County Wide.
AJ did a great job diagnosing and fixing my freezer! Thank you!
Certified technician fixed my Whirlpool washer under warranty (bad pump). Very professional and had the company name on the van which my wife more comfortable. Nobody wants an unmarked van with no windows pulling up in your driveway!! Thanks guys.
Just called to ask they would come to service my appliance which is 45 min drive, even though they would be compensated to drive the distance.( and we have no other servicers for Thermadors in our area) The receptionist was very rude stating we will not go out that far. Well judging by all the poor reviews your business could use all the help it could get. Good luck
After spending two days searching a 60 mile radius for a gas dryer, we stopped here as a last resort. Upon entry, the front gentleman greeted us and started us on our search. Within 30 seconds, the owner was assisting us. We found a brand new Samsung set that we wanted. The discount was 70% off of what other big box stores were asking for the lower model. The owner and repair man loaded it up for us and we are on our way. I will be a lifetime shopper. Customer service was exceptional.
Pleasantly surprised with the service and know how at County Wide. I was looking for a common dryer part that i found is only available by order from the big box stores. I explained what I thought my issue was and what I needed to Joel at the counter. He discussed what he thought it really could be...he ended up being correct and saved me over $30 in parts in I didnt need. Thanks Joel and County Wide.
Our washing machine broke. It took forever for them to get here. They showed up, didnt have the part. Waited another week, replaced the part and the washer doesnt even work now. They wont even schedule to come back for another week. It was in better shape before countywide touched it. And it cost us half the price of the washer for them NOT to fix it. Dont bother.
I havent been there.
I went to Sears just to get a timer knob for my Whirlpool washing machine. They do not sell parts there anymore. But the salesman went and recommended countywide appliances. I went to county wide, and they had the part for me in less than a minute. I absolutely recommend the store.
Worst company I ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Read the rest of the negative reviews and notice a common thread. Horrible customer service. They use the part didnt come in yet excuse all the time. Why is it that as consumers we can by the same part and have it here the next day online and at the latest three days later? If you are forced to use them because of a warranty remember to be extra nice to them as you are at their mercy of when they want to come out.If you have a choice - stay away! Use one of the many independent techs who have left because they dont like being associated with the rude people here.
I have had the pleasure of dealing with Mike at country wide for several years now. I called today for repair of my dishwasher, and as usual, I was treated with a high level of service.I highly recommend this company for their integrity and excellent quality of work.
I had them come out to look at my dryer. it needed a new gas valve and igniter. i waited over a week for them to get parts than a few more days for them to come out to fix it. they called and said theyd be there between 9-11:30, I gave it until 12:30 before calling. theyd completely forgot about me!!!! I stayed home all morning for them to NEVER show up or even call!!! I DO NOT recommend using this company. call someone reliable, Ill be getting my parts online and theyll be delivered after than this company could even get them, what a joke! $80 bucks down the drain.
One of the few places you can still call to have in-home service on any of your major home appliance. They will have an experience service tech schedule within a couple days. Most repairs will allow for a financially worthwhile investment to expand the useful life of your appliances. Yet in a day and age when many people are trying to maintain vintage appliances, this classic appliance repair shop seems to have totally disregarded this potential repair market and are often not able to work on older models. Also, with a number specialized appliance parts distributors selling through The Internet, specializing in vintage parts, you would think that a business associated with appliance repair would be a direct access to this vintage parts market. Yet, the part department is unfamiliar with the vintage appliance parts market and is unwilling to even consider searching. They are willing to install a part you might be able to find using your own time to search. I believe this business is missing out on an important market of vintage appliance repairs.
I have used County Wide several times over the years. While I often am able to repair appliances on my own, I will turn to the pros when the problem is over my head. I have found them to be honest and professional and knowledgeable. They have always fixed the problem right the first time. They are my go-to people for appliance repairs.
My 4 yr. old LG refrigerator stopped working. County Wide service techs did a great job finding the problem (bad compressor) and doing the repair. Its nice to have a working refrigerator again. Thanks!
They need to get a new customer service rep. That lady who answers makes you feel like you are bothering them. This has happened more than once. Life is hard enough.
Factory authorized trained repair company. Fixed my washer under warranty and was professional. They are professional with the business name on their trucks. If a repair guy shows up in without writing on their truck dont open the door.
They were at the house in less than a half hour, fixed the issue very quickly, and the rate was reasonable. Very happy with their level of service and they have built a trust of dependability moving forward.
This company was originally asked to fix our refrigerator. They charged over $100 to diagnose the problem, and after 6 weeks the parts finally arrived. The tech installed the parts and the refrigerator still did not work, but they wanted to be paid anyway. Talked to the owner of the company who was very rude and had no sympathy for the long wait, and could care less about the fact they didn’t complete the job. Terrible experience.
Karl arrived, replacements parts in hand. Very knowledgeable and efficient.
They were no help.
I called to have my GE fridge services. I had a problem making ice. So the guy gets to my house... 4 hours later then I was told. Which I understand things happen, its life. The part that burned me was he opened the fridge door and said hmmm looks like you need a new control board and couple fans. Between the service call and the parts he wanted to order the quote came to well over 500 dollars. All for ice cubes. I called another place, the guys got to my house on time and fixed the problem in 15 mins for 79.99. I asked them about the parts and supplies the county wide guy said I needed and I was told theres no way you would put that much money into this fridge, he was hoping he could take you for a 500 dollar ride AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Service vans have their company name and excellent service! Fix my washer the first time and had the parts in the truck.
Never fixed the problem, waited weeks for parts only for them to never actually fix the problem, save your money!
The busyness of this company seems apparent from the get go. On the other hand, having Bosch Refrigerator has limited us to service from this company. This is made heavy by the subpar attitude of a female associate in the parts department. She talks on the phone with a noncaring attitude and impatient approach, bordering on disrespect. Does this reflect emplyee satisfaction in this company?Or, are does customer satisfaction a thing of the past?We are hoping these reviews are read by the owner or manager of this store. This is sad. If not remedied or corrected soon, your store customer flow will be affected.
Dont call these guys, Supposed to place an order for a fridge door and a fan for a new maytag on the 20th of july 2016 and was told by the technician it would be 2 weeks, found out the order for the DOOR only was not placed until august 25th. Fan was never ordered so that would probably take them another 4 weeks to order. Company sucks
Called and was never told about the high fee to come out and look at washer. Technician came and turned the drum and said it was the gear and would be $1000 to fix. For a 5 minute diagnosis that he said he already suspected before he came, what the problem was .. they charged me $108.00 for 5 minutes. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! RIPPED ME OFF!!!
The female that works here that called the first time was extremely short and rude when setting up an appointment, appointment was made for over a week after Aarons had contacted them twice asking them to fix the washer that was being leased through them. This woman got mad and hung up on me when I asked for an earlier or different appointment as I had a doctors appointment for the day they wanted to come here. The repair man came out 1/15/2016 and said he would call and be back shortly with the parts to fix it. I called Aarons after waiting 2 weeks for them to come back and had the washer and dryer swapped out for a working set as they couldnt get ahold of Country Wide Appliance Service for an answer either. Today, over 3 and a half weeks of waiting, this woman called back and again being extremely short and rude on the phone from the minute I answered my phone, to say they had they parts and when I said Aarons already swapped them out and this mad her mad again, she snapped on me on the phone and hung up on me. Do not use this company unless you want some angry woman on a psychotic kick to scream at you at the crack of dawn for something they did wrong. Extremely disgusted by this business display of ethics and character. They deserve negative stars but unfortunately have to give them a 1 star.
Called to ask how I could tell if my refrigerator was leaking freon. Lady that answered the phone said there was no way. She wouldnt have said one more thing to me if I didnt keep asking questions. She didnt seem like she wanted to be bothered even speaking with someone. Curt, abrupt, and wanted me off the phone. Wont be using them for anything.
Very quick response, and they work to be sure their customers are satisfied.
Very poor customer service. Waited all afternoon and they never showed up or called to say they would be late or have to reschedule. Called the company to see what was going on and the manager didnt seem to care.
Scheduled 2 appts and the tech canceled both. Was told job was going to take too long and he had other appts he needed to get to. Called Automatic Appliance Repair and they showed up THE NEXT DAY and had the job done in an hour. Dont bother with County Wide, just call Automatic Appliance
They are expensive. They will charge $81 for diagnosis. If no parts then will come back and charge a labor fee plus the parts (that is not an issue).
Worst service I have ever received! waited days for them to even come out to look at my washer, and than almost 2 weeks for parts to come in....no impressed at all.
Went there with a washing machine lid switch. Joel helped me troubleshoot my problem and showed me that the parts i need are available. I will contact them first for any future needs.
Good stuff
