I was traveling for work and realized I left the power cord for my 200W HP laptop power unit at home. I searched the area stores for some help (BestBuy, Staples) to no avail. I had an issue with my computer over heating. I called Detor just after meeting with a different person because i wasnt happy with the service. Detor sat down with me and let me explain completely what my issue was and stated he would contact me the next day with an update and if a part needed to be replaced he would have a recommended peice. Detor called 4 hours ahead of schedule stating he couldnt even test the computer it over heated so quickly (which was the main issue) and ordered the part the same day. As soon as it came in he installed the new piece and now the computer is staying at the temp its needed to. It was a big relief to find Alan. Im not completely clueless when it comes to computers but Im not completely comfortable either. Ive had disastrous experiences with the big box support staffs. The first time I went to Alan he 1) listened to me describe the problem 2) told me what he thought it was, and was up front about the possibility that he might not be able to fix it 3) gave me options and told me what each would cost and how long they would take, and then... 4) fixed the problem! He also gave me advice about security for my computer, maintenance, upkeep, etc. I went back this year when I had problems with printing. Again he identified the problem, told me different possible scenarios and how much each would cost, and again... fixed it! I also had him check my computer for security problems, etc., and he cleaned up some of the things I had inadvertently loaded on to my computer. I took my fathers laptop in for repair after Toshiba refused the warranty I still had on it. They claimed it was due to damage or dropping. It turns out the back monitor cable was loose! I first tried fixing it myself and managed to bend the connector pins on the plug. Detor fixed the cable itself without needing to replace anything, and in less than 24 hours! I have a MAC computer and it had the death blue screen. In a panic I called Alan and told him my problem. He had me drop my computer off at noon one day and the following day it was ready to pick up. I brought 2 laptops to Al. One of them, the screen didnt come on and the other I couldnt get into my settings, wouldnt update and slow. He was able to diagnose them very quickly and get back to me. He was able to save my one laptop (no screen) but it was gonna be a lot of work. Didnt have him fix it. The other laptop (that Im using now) is in perfect working order. DIDNT CHARGE me for diagnose fee for both laptops because i had work done on one of them. Installed operating System: Windows 10 Home x64, Installed Emsisoft Anti-Malware and backed up my laptop. Extremely knowledgeable and very nice. Definitely will recommend his services to others and will use him again, if needed to fix my computer.

Alan not only recovered data from a near dead hard drive, he was respectful, courteous, prompt and is thorough. He made it clear the data may not be recoverable worst case scenario or may have to be escalated resulting in a very expensive recovery. Within 24-hours he advised he could recover all my data and shortcuts for my programs. Now the deal maker. Best Buy quoted a recovery anywhere between $1,500-$2,000. Alan not only out serviced them but out priced them by $1,300.00!

Great customer service! My hard disk was broken and everything was massed up (couldnt boot) because I used my laptop for about 3 years. So I searched on Google in order to find a good place to fix my laptop, and I found him with all the five stars on Google review. At first time I doubted its a kind of advertisement, but when he fixed my laptop with his kindness, all my doubt was erased. (It took about 1-2 business day to fix, though price was pretty high because I had to buy a new hard drive :[ ) Overall, it is the best place to entrust your desktop or laptop. I went to this place for data recovery about a month ago. I used the express service and the data was fully recovered in a week. I had electronics failure on my hard drive, which is a complex case. That is why is took a little longer than I expected.
