We had such a terrible experience working with Seth Fischer it is hard to detail. To say he is confrontational and difficult in dealing with him is generous. His knee jerk response is to review the prior agreement or attack you. Our real Estate j followed up with us twice regarding seth’s unprofessional behavior and email correspondence. . We signed the retainer agreement and agreed with it and we’re happy to pay his higher than normal fee structure. But he went down two or three rabbit holes regarding our non standard closing at were overly costly to use. Our property was a single family home and an additional 27 attached acres in a trust in our name. We gave Seth the property tax is numbers and the trust attorney name immediately. He spent numerous hours researching the trust which was unnecessary. We gave Seth the name of our former title company for the original house and property purchase which god knows what he did with. It was weeks before he actually located the titles ordered the requested documents and sent to the buyers attorney. We never received confirmation the documents had been received or processed. Our last direct correspondence with Seth was august 1. Our scheduled close date was September 20. It is now September 22 and we left a message with seth’s office regarding specific questions related to our closing and a return phone call with no response. I had some text correspondence with Seth regarding a return phone call and he was 1. Out of the office 2. Very busy and 3. Would respond via email. Seth is supposed to be our attorney, we are paying him, and don’t think a return phone is a big ask. We are looking to leave our ny home and nys but have zero degree of confidence Seth can make this happen. AguenkThinking of looking for another attorney just to be done twith seth

I spoke with Mr.Fischer and I felt like I was talking to a realtor, where you questions get answered, but not really... I asked for an estimate for New York State fees with a title transfer on a $100,000 residential home, and he goes on to tell me about all the variables, and doesnt give me even so much as a range (which is what I needed for planning); this was after myself cutting him off as he started droning on about the variables associated and interjecting (myself), that I had some questions of my own that I needed answered (per the propose of my call), which these questions themselves included to when do I need to involve him in the sale process. I just hung up... This was our only interaction.

Did a great jo during on real estate sales and lease agreements during pandemic

We would use no other real estate attorney. Seth is very thorough, and will make sure that if you are purchasing, there are ZERO issues with the title or transaction. We have been clients for several years after a mishap with an attorney who was NOT thorough. It cost me several thousand dollars to correct, and had I used him the first time the prior owner would have had to make those corrections. Best attorney in CNY.

My family has had the fortune and privilege of discovering and working with Mr. Seth Fisher as our family Attorney since early 1990s.
