Place is well maintained very clean. Prices reasonable the Barbers all professional and great at cutting Brett who I generally have cut my hair is fast and always goes above and beyond when I get a cut from him making sure its enjoyable the hot towel massage is the best part after a nice clean fresh shave. I highly recommend this place never really any wait and everyone as I said is very professional and great.

This was my first time at this location. I needed a cut for Thanksgiving and my buddy told me about this place. I walked in and was immediately and very politely greeted by Big Perm and got in the chair right away and he gave me exactly what I wanted in a timely fashion. I also really liked how he paid attention to the small details including my ears/eyebrows. I got a great haircut by Big Perm and I feel like I gained not only a new friend but also a new and great barber. I highly recommend coming to Nicks Eastwood and ask for Big Perm or his real name,which is also mine, Sean.

Its one of the best barber shops in town! The first time I went there I had to wait a little while before it was my turn, and thats because each barber was so heavily invested in their customer that they were focused on providing them with the best service possible. Having said that, you should definitely call and get an appointment before showing up! I received an amazing service from Danny the first time I visited, and ever since Ive always had him cut my hair. So definitely give him a shot! Additionally, they have a parking lot behind their building so you wont need to park on the street. Just wanted to mention that since its easy to miss with all the traffic in the area. Definitely check out this barber shop if you havent yet. You wont be disappointed!

After trying North Syracuses location out, I thought I would give this one a shot. Wrong.Once sat in the chair, I was immediately met with rough handling, dry razoring, clippers catching, tools being dropped everywhere (including a pair of scissors on my face), and a complete disregard for directions. Once I got home I saw the real damage. Cuts and bleeding all over and an unsatisfactory haircut. One of the worst barber experiences Ive had..

The James St. Location is by far...... THE worst Nicks location ever!! I’ve been to the one in North Syracuse etc. and all do a pretty good job. I only gave 3 different barbers a chance at James st..and the last guy literally NICKED my left ear last week (literally bleeding) never offered a discount. This week After apologizing for last week he NICKED my right ear 3 times.. it was so tense in there the other barber started to crack his knuckles because obviously he doesn’t know what’s going on. Go in for a cut and left with one literally..and it was still uneven smh..DO NOT GO THERE!!! Rated “0” stars out of 1,000,000!

Would highly recommend to anyone who desires a clean/sharp cut! New to the Eastwood area and never even noticed the shop. My son needed a cut so his dad decided to give them a try.. and Im so glad he did! My son walked through the door looking super sharp! We were all very much pleased!! This will be our new spot. These guys are across the street from a barber that did an absolutely terrible job on my hair... After leaving Eastwood Barber Shop they did a fantastic job on not only fixing my hair, but turning it into a awesome hair cut and experience for reasonable pricing.Highly recommend the establishment and Joey the Barber.

Absolute worst haircut Ive ever gotten at the shop on James st. The guy used tons of profanity... With children in the room. All the edges were very uneven. Told me he didnt have a lot of time. I said I would wait its no big deal but he took me anyways. He spent like 5 minutes on it then wouldnt fix anything. I went to another barber to fix it and he jokingly told me that I shouldnt let my kids cut my hair. I get it if you dont have a lot of time but dont absolutely destroy my hair because of it.

Well, I wasn’t too happy when the barbers chair transformed into a decepticon and blew up the building demanding we hand over some space rock. But after he was defeated (with a little help from Optimus) I got the best haircut of my life

If I could would be zero stars.. went there after working a 10 hour shift because it was close by and new. Sat down on bench to wait for a haircut. while I was waiting for a haircut the barber named “Nick” finished his client then went out to smoke a “cigarette” while there was customers waiting for a hair cut. After about 15 minuets of waiting for him I asked if he would be coming back and another barber went outside and told him I was waiting for him. He then informs the other barber that he had to run down the street real fast that he would be right back. I waited for 1 hour for him to do what ever personal business he had to handle while he had a first time customer waiting for him. After a hour of him being gone I said screw it and left the establishment and will never go back and will advise many others not to go either. Poor business ethics and lousy workers.

Have a been a regular customer here for around 8 months. In that time there has been a revolving door of new barbers. Each new crop less impressive than the last. Very young kids with no professionalism. Will be looking for a new barber for my next cut.

Go to Scubba at Nicks. Hes been cutting my hair for 3 years now even when he was at the north syracuse store and now running the Eastwood shop! Super friendly, awesome personalities and in and out service at the new Eastwood shop. I would recommend it to anyone that asks whwre to ger a hair cut in Syracuse!!!
