Bill stuck with us through all of our wedding postponements - I say that with emphasis because he was always so encouraging when we spoke and eased all of our anxieties through the uncertainty of the wedding planning process. We had Bill for both our ceremony and reception, and we were so impressed with his seamless transitions and attention to detail. Our wedding was on Sept 19th, and Bills expertise definitely left us with absolutely no worries at all. We didnt realize how important and essential Bill would be towards our big day, but we worked with our MC, wedding planner and our families to make sure everything went according to plan... And it did! Not only was he an essential part of the planning process with amazing ideas, he also read the dance floor perfectly making sure everyone was dancing all night long! We could not have asked for a better party and it was all because of Bill. He knew exactly what song to play at every moment for the wide variety of age groups we had. He was so perceptive that when our best man mentioned starring in Footloose in his speech, Bill took note and played the song so that our best man could show off his dance moves. Bill is hands down the best in his field and we were so lucky to have him!

He ensured all the special music requests were the right version and artist. Ceremony was perfect. Outstanding selection of music for the reception - everyone smiling and dancing. Bill was relaxed and we shared a very similar view on music at a wedding - make it flow, make it jam, and keep people dancing! He was very willing as well to have a few additional “phone screens” with my best man / brother. That level of rolling with the punches and service continued leading up and during the wedding.Bill (and his co-mate Katie) conducted a very thorough pre wedding call. I will say that I think Black Tie are at their best when you give them creative license reins with the right amount of guidance.On the day of the event, Bill and Katie executed beautifully. They were extremely attentive to what me and my wife needed and true to their word kept people dancing all night long. Bill was the DJ at our Sept 1st wedding. I cannot even put into words how amazing this man was! So professional, answers his emails promptly, and is an absolute pleasure to work with. He was so open to all of our ideas and suggestions, but used his professional expertise to guide us to ensure the night ran smoothly. If the food at a wedding is the heart of the party, music is the soul. Bill was the DJ at my wedding a few weeks ago and I wouldnt dream of recommending anyone else as a DJ for your event. He took fantastic notes about what my wife and I wanted, and made great suggestions to make sure everything flowed properly and that we could feel secure in trusting him to make sure everything went smoothly. He made sure to keep in contact with all our key vendors and family members about what was going to be happening next/soon and he was flexible with whatever we wanted. He was professional, knowledgeable, experienced, and really knows how to get a party going and keep it going all night. His intimate knowledge of how to craft the music through the night and his ability to feel the mood of the room and what it needs next is unparalleled. By the end of the night, everyone was telling me how awesome the DJ was and even had one guest tell me she planned to book him for her wedding next year. Bill and his team are AMAZING. They were so easy to work with, and very helpful. Everything ahead of time was wonderful. Bill was very responsive and did a great job answering any questions that we had. We got so many compliments on how amazing our DJ was. There were people on the dance floor all night. It was the perfect combination of music that worked for all of the guests at our wedding. Our parents and older guests had some fun and classic hits that they loved but there were also newer songs that we loved and our younger guests enjoyed. The music at the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception was all fantastic. Bill was on top of keeping things on schedule. He did a great job always checking in with us throughout the night, he was so professional and incredible. The uplighting was beautiful and was a really nice touch to the wedding. Thank you Bill!!

Bill is the absolute best! I am probably the most pickiest person and an extreme perfectionist. Bill hit a grand slam out of Syracuse at my wedding. Black Tie Entertainment was our DJ and did the lighting for our wedding. They were so wonderful to work with and really knew how to keep the party going! They went out of their way to find special lighting for us and completely made our vision come to life. Im so glad we used them for our special day!Definitely book with them, they are amazing!

Mike did a wonderful job for music and being the master of ceremonies. Im a hard critic because Im a musician. He was conscious of keeping the music appropriate for the crowd. I appreciated that we was promptly responsive when you had questions. You can make all of your requests for songs you want on his website. The price was great!

They were SO GREAT! They made our afternoon reception so amazing. They got everyone dancing and out of their seats. They knew exactly what to play and what not play and truly did a fantastic job with everything. We had a ton of fun, as did all our guests!!

We are from way, way out of town, but we just had our daughters wedding reception this weekend in the upstairs of the Dinosaur BBQ in Syracuse. Bill and Black Tie Entertainment was easy to work with from a distance, and on the wedding night kept the crowd happy and moving throughout the reception, and he handled the introductions and everything else with perfect professionalism. I hired Black Tie Entertainment for a charity event last weekend and had the greatest experience with them! Our DJ was Jose and he had people out on the dance floor the whole night! Next year I will be calling them and requesting Jose personally! Zero complaints!

We had the opportunity to work with BTE for the Griffins Guardians Gold Tie Gala. A very professional company with wonderful vision on how to transform a plain banquet room into an intimate setting. The uplighting was the perfect touch to bring the ambiance together. Highly recommend this company and will be sure to use again for future events

They know how to pace the night by picking the right music at the right time. The dance floor was always packed, which makes our jobs as videographers that much easier. Black Tie recently djed our wedding in April and did a fantastic job! They do an amazing job helping with special moments and planning the whole day. From introductions to dancing, everything was perfect. Especially how they helped our guests understand the stationed dinner and kept the music lower during dinner but then they were able to get all our guests on the dancefloor! All our guests were raving about how they were the perfect dj and the perfect mc for the night.
