I like their non medical approach and focus on nutrition. Deana is a caring and warm professional. She and her team are highly knowledgeable. I can’t recommend them enough!

My daughter has just finished here at Brain balance in Suwanee and we have had incredible success. They were able to take something scary and frustrating and bring encouragement, results, and support. This program has truly changed our family in a wonderful way. The staff and coaches are phenomenal and I’ve met some amazing other parents during the process too. I would highly recommend this program and this location in Suwanee!

I cant believe the amount of emotional growth my child has experienced. This positive change has affected our family in such significant ways. Life is so much easier and we arent even finished with the program. The results are stunning and people that havent been around my child in a few months cant believe how focused and mature she has become.

My son attended Brain Balance for 6 months. It has made an incredible difference for him. The first few months, I saw small changes in his speech and overall positive changes in academics. Halfway through, no changes. At the end of the program I was wondering if I had made the right decision by trying this program. Then 6th grade year started. As the school year progresses, I see tremendous improvement. With the assistance of the Brain Balance staff, homework time goes smoothly. Prior to Brain Balance I had to literally teach him anything he had to learn for tests and we had to study at least a week in advance to make sure he understood and retained the information. Now, I can tell him to go and study, then we do a review and he understands and retains the information on his own.

I am very grateful for Brain Balance! My daughter did the 6 month program and it was beneficial. The staff in the office are very compassionate and willing to provide input and suggestions. I feel like brain balance looks at the whole child. I was comforted by this as I am a social worker and believe in looking at the whole child.

I love this program! And the staff has been great. When my son entered the program he was difficult and could be violent. Since going through the program he has calmed down a great deal. He still has out bursts, but they are now all age appropriate. I love how the program has given me my little monkey back.

We will forever be grateful to the Brain Balance Suwanee staff and to the BB program. Our son going through their program has changed his life forever, and ours as a family as well.He struggled in school with behavior and then that rolled over into his academics. He was suspended in Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades for various behavior issues. Needless to say, this caused a great deal of stress on our family and for him. He labeled himself “the bad kid” which broke our hearts because we knew he wasn’t bad and that he has a heart of gold.Fast forward... he has completed the Brain Balance program and is now 10 years old and in fourth grade. He looks forward to school every day. He’s made friends that he plays with every day. He’s making A’s and B’s and his teacher says he’s a joy to be around. He has received several recognitions for being helpful to other students in the hallways and cafeteria. He comes home, sits down and completes his homework every day (this used to be a screaming match for 2 hours prior to BB). We no longer dread a call from the school! We used to pray for “Green” days and be thrilled when it was a “Yellow” day. Now, “Green” is the norm and 2-3 days a week, he’s on Blue and even Purple which are 1 and 2 marks above Green.We’ve always known a brilliant, loving, compassionate, creative boy lived inside our son and now the whole world gets to see the real J and enjoy what we always knew was inside but he couldn’t show.And this is just the tip of the iceberg… he now looks at the camera for his picture to be taken, he doesnt get anxious on picture day, he can jump rope, catch a ball, throw a ball, hit a ball, kick a rolling ball, and dribble a basket ball. He can copy words from the board or another piece of paper. He loves to read and looks forward to math. He stops and thinks before he reacts to a situation. He can read peoples body language. He shows empathy towards others. We can leave him to play with another child and not worry. We can have conversations as a family about things that matter and not just surface conversation. I could literally go on for days.So, to say we are forever grateful really doesn’t do justice for the gratitude we have for this program and the staff at Suwanee and the loving care they took with our son. We now live in a peaceful home with a typical rambunctious 10 year old boy.

Brain Balance completely changed my life. I was able to focus more, make smarter life decisions, get better at my craft, and didnt find myself getting so frustrated so easily. I was skeptical at first, but having come out the other side, I can say Brain Balance has helped me tremendously every single day.

It has been nearly a year since my son completed his sessions at Brain Balance, and I am pleased to say that Will is doing great! He is still receiving assistance from his IEP at school but he tells them all the time how Brain Balance taught him strategies that he continues to incorporate in his daily learning. He is an empowered student thanks to BB and has shown tremendous growth. On his last progress report from school he had 3 As, 1 B and 1C, as he still has some struggles with his weaker areas - reading and writing. But the difference from now to prior to BB is amazing!!! Emotionally he is more in control, less outbursts than previously (in fact they are rare), and is eager to do his school work correctly and independently. Bringing him to BB was the best investment and decision we could have made and we continue to sing your praises every chance we get. In fact, Will still misses coming to his sessions. My daughter was right brain weak and we were struggling long hours doing homework and studying for tests. Since she is a gymnast, she was showing a lot of inconsistency since her ADHD medicine was wearing out by practice time. After 6 long and very exhausting months of sessions at BB she is very independent with all school related work and at gymnastics she had her first few meets and she is been doing amazing. We are very happy with the results, Mrs Lisa, and all the coaches were very good with my daughter. Highly recommend the program.

My son did a $150 pre-assessment at Brain Balance. We live an hour away so we wanted the at-home program. A few days after the assessment they called to give the results over the phone but she missed the intial appointment time. Then I found out that they wanted me to come in to hear the sales pitch at the same time as his results instead of over the phone, like I requested. I did not want to drive an hour just for a sales pitch. I am not sure if this program works but, it felt like I was being tricked just to get the results that I paid for. I still dont know the results.

Not only my son’s, but my life has been changed with this program! My son finished 6month program with Suwanee center in last August and he started Kindergarten right after that.I worried and worried so much, because before brain balance, I never had a normal conversation with my son and he didn’t made any eye contacts with people. Outburst of anger was the only way for him to express his feelings. I tried to go to movie with him, but came out in 5min. and went to Aquarium and got out in 30min. Most of time when I went out with my son, I sweat heavily even though it’s cold out, because I had to chase him everywhere. He almost got hit by a car because he just went off. All those days with tears in my eyes and praying so hard for having just one normal words with my son in my life....When I found out about brain balance, I just walk-in and had to try it! I tried so many things before but they only took away my hopes. Thank you so much brain balance! My son now reached his reading expectation from his Kindergarten and he is reading 1st grade’s level books. He writes and draws so good! His teacher told me so many good things about him now! He is catching all those years that he missed in his life! We are working on his social life now and I am sure I don’t need to worry about it at all now!I got my life back! I started working again and my son doesn’t cry anymore because I am not there. He even told me that I need to work hard so he can get all the legos that he wants!(he wasn’t able to follow the lego direction and put those little legos together before BB program, but now he is working on 10-12yrs old legos! (He’s 6))On the weekends, I take my two kids together by myself without my husband to friend’s birthday parties, mall, and grocery market! This is normal thing for the parents, but it was a dream for me! We bake together, read together, joke around and make fun of each other, telling each other how much we love each other! Asking me a permission, begging for something, holding his emotions, learned how to wait and keep our promises.We went to trick or treat! We had blast time at our huge family Thanksgiving party day! He wrote a card to Santa Clause for his Christmas gift and he got it!Oh, these normal life that I never thought that would come true! It’s all here in my family! Thank you and thank you so much!

We are pleased with the results from brain balance. The effect was immediate and life changing for our son.

My son, Joey(5) has been to brain balance about a month now. I can’t find any words to express my feelings.Joey had sensory integration and all other issues. He was very sensitive to everything. He didn’t get along with anyone and he always laid down on the floor and said that he was dizzy and tired. He craved for food all the time and was over-weight. He always was crazy about angrybirds and all he did was act like an angrybird all day long. It was impossible to have a normal conversation with him and my life was always in the guilt.Past five years of my life was chaos. Now, only after a month, he is playing with his classmates in preschool, he calls grandparents to say that he missed them, he waits, he is telling me how terrible his lunch was(that I made) so he couldn’t finished the whole thing, and he lost almost 7lbs... and go on and on...I am not afraid to take Joey to anywhere now. Of course we still have lot of issues, but it’s nothing to compare what I had to deal in the past.I am glad that I found this place!! And I am so thanksful to the founder of brain balance! Before enrolling our 6-year-old son in Brain Balance we felt hopeless to help him. We had tried all the therapies, talked to all the specialists, and did whatever we could think to do at home. But there we were, in our third year of pre-K curriculum without any possibility of moving forward, all of us completely frustrated, and our baby still not able to laugh, weep, express emotion, or attend to a simple 9-card game of Memory without melting down after 30 seconds...he unable to brush his own teeth, unable to understand humor, unable to engage his world, and this list goes on.Since enrolling him in Brain Balance less than 3 months ago he has found his laughter, his tears, humor (his and others) and his ability to know and express his feelings. He has gone through the rest of the pre-K curriculum with flying colors and is now starting to read and do math problems. From not being able to attend the 9-card game of Memory he went to putting together 400-piece puzzles. He is now brushing his own teeth, making his own bed, and helping with laundry and dishes. All in a matter of weeks!Maybe youre happy with where your child is, and the care s/he is getting. But if you know theres more to your child than the labels theyve been given, if you want to unlock the REAL person stuck in that body whos fighting tooth and nail to get out (can you say meltdown???), you dont want to medicate your child so others have an easier time dealing with him/her, and you KNOW in your heart there has to be a better way to help your baby and youre willing to do whatever it takes to get that help, then you need to get into the center and hear what its all about!

Brain Balance of Suwanee has absolutely changed my sons life and ours. He is 14 and over the years we have tried diet, therapies, and changed schools. He was originally diagnosed with sensory integration disorder, then non-verbal learning disorder, ADHD and Dysgraphia. He has a few learning differences that pose greater challenges in school as well. We had tried so many avenues and were exhausted. Fast forward to 6 months at Brain Balance and he is no longer disruptive, overly hyper, has friends, realizes other peoples feelings and how is actions affect others, able to do sports(motor skills), happier, able to do daily routines(get dressed, brush teeth, wash face and keep up with all personal hygiene routines without being told or reminded), like to read now, not on ADHD meds anymore, and is able to keep his room organized and picked up. Is he perfect, of course not, he still has teenage hormones like every other child but his quality of life, stress and anxiety have drastically improved. Brain Balance was worth every penny and looking back I would have paid double for the progress he has made. Every day is a new milestone with him and brings tears to our eyes as we now have more hope for him and his future. With all of this said I will tell you that you do need to do your part at home during the program. It is not always easy, but it is definitely worth it. If you follow the at home exercises and the diet, you will see improvement and changes. You get out of the program what you put into it and we did not do anything else during his time there except for a little bit of counseling for emotions so that we would be able to see just how much Brain Balance made a difference. I would also like to note that the support that you receive from Brain Balance in Suwanee is unlike anywhere else we have been. They are quick to respond to questions and the parenting advice as your child goes through changes has helped tremendously. We were able to change how we were handling certain situations at home and that has greatly reduced the stress level at home with us and his siblings. We really feel like we have a wonderful support system to help us through all of these changes and in the future. Our son was diagnosed with ADHD around 9 years old. We did a 3 month complete program at this center when my son was 12 years old. There were some benefits to the program in regards to diet but overall the change in our son was very minimal. My son is now 13 years old and we have not done medication so far but are considering it. Before you do this program do your research. A great seminar on google is by Russell Barkley called the Essential ideas for Parenting. I wish there were someone local in the medical community that actually focused on ADHD as they all seem to be generalist that know a little. I have read about 7 different books on ADHD and found that Russell Barkley information was the most helpful.

There are really no words to describe how happy our family is with the results of the Brain Balance program. Our son, 7 years old, benefitted so much, it has literally changed his life for the better.The staff is very helpful and excited to share details of the program from the first meeting. Being skeptical at first about the program and its impact, we read tons of reviews and blogs from other family experiences. We found that most all who went through the program saw positive results, and those who didnt, hadnt made all the needed changes in lifestyle.For us, as a family, we committed 100% - together. Not singling our son out, but sticking to the guidelines as a family unit. They are all healthy changes anyway.If you have a bright child who has behavior issues or has been told they act as if the have AHAD, ADD, Aspergers or other, Brain Balance is worth a look. If your child is not a candidate, they will let you know.Strongly Recommended!!!!

I called and tried to get information about their program. I waited over a week and a half, and never heard anything back. I called back and the same cycle was about to be started again. Very disappointed.
