I have been shopping at Dollar General Stores for over 18 years from here in California to Oklahoma and today was my 1st time going to the Susanville one,and hands down it was one of the best ones. Not only was it well organized,fully stocked shelves,clear aisles,and helpful &friendly staff,but it had more stuff than I have ever seen before. I was impressed with the level of organization and cleanliness. I will most definitely be shopping there again.

I absolutely love Dollar General! Its got everything you could imagine + some. Employees are super friendly & polite, prices are cheaper than Walmart or other retail stores & everything is name brand items for half the price, you cant get any better than that. For sure shop at Dollar General. 5 STAR RATING!!!!

My visit to city was due to car trouble and was in store to purchase a charger for my device and get a beverage. There was a male worker that every time we passed one another he would give me what I call stink eye, otherwise known as dirty look for completely unknown reasons. The charger was unacceptable and I returned to store to return item. Thankfully the rest of the crew were top-notch and I did not receive stink eye. This is when I learned that he was the MANAGER; the very person whose behavior reflects on the whole store. Twenty years ago I was once an employee of Dollar G. and was assistant manager in a different state. I hope he can improve as he permanently lost this customer to Walmart.

Just great people working here. They are knowledgeable of the products and where they are, and go out of their way to treat each customer with the best of care. You dont have to ask for help here, they are already there, making your shopping experience as easy and comfortable as possible.

Great store. Tons of hidden bargins. Staff was nice and accommodating. Aisle can be cramped at times but worth the discounts you will be getting. Also love that the have a coupon club card... just enter your number and discounts that youve loaded are deducted.

Location. Love to go here and shop good place to get stuff for lunches.

Employes were very helpful and the cashier was wonderful to talk with!

Be careful going in here aloneCrossroads is next door so it gets some tweekers in here. The place is not organized. And last summer they had a bird living in the building . Bathrooms are dirty.And they dont do cash back.They do carry nice kids shoes in the summer tho

Its ok the lines can get long... But the customer service by stacy the store manager was awesome! Definitely love this places deals guess its worth the long line!

Way to much stuff in the store its hard to walk around without knocking something over. And the name Dollar general does not mean everything is a dollar probably only about 15% of the store is a dollar or under.
