Their service is horrible and they still bill like they are giving you exceptional service. Charged me 200 dollars for a error on their system while I was out of internet. Absolutely ridiculous how they manage to still be able to screw their customers daily.
This company buys others and has no clue what theyre doing. 1: it takes over an hour just to get somebody on the phone 2: If they dont support standard everyday modems/routers 3: Theyre staff when you know what youre talking about, Tries to belittle you when you know How Things work. 4: And when you prove them wrong and their own ignorance They hang up on you
Absolutely the WORST internet service Ive ever had. Pay nearly 100$ a month for barely any internet, its constantly down constantly spotty. The website is down all the time, the phone is down all the time, its just the worst.

Awful customer service... Ive had internet problems for 6 months I have internet works sometimes, but I go weeks without internet. Service repair guys rarely show up. 70% of the time its a no call no show. I wish we had better customer service. When the internet works, its amazing. But 1 week of internet and 3 weeks of fighting with them to fix it, is exhausting..

I use Zito for my internet service. Ive used every provider in my area and because we are so rural they all have issues. Zito was 10 times faster then any other service I had. Now it is 100 times faster (1 gig service) when they have been issues they have always been quick to let me know.

Jose from the Susanville office was amazing. He not only got us a high speed internet running smoothly but he repaired wiring and splitters which gave us a much better and clearer TV picture. He was very pleasant and professional.
You cant pay your bill online and ive been calling on hold for 5 hours each day for the last week and no one answers. And especially good luck if theres an outage no one will ever answer
Had the service for more then a year and have to call every couple of months to set up appointments to get them to come out and fix it just for it to break down a month and a half later and its not like its cheap. Custom service is polite but nothing ever gets fixed fot long. I understand sometimes theres issues but with this service is consistently bad. Theres 2 service in susanville and zito is technically faster but at this point Id rather have slower service that works most the time and I dont need to wait on hold for an hour every month.
Company just does not take proper security measures. Ive had them about a year. I live out in Susanville California.The box that routes everyones internet is on a pole outside my house by my back fence. About four-six months ago the internet got really bad. Zito had closed down their local reception office but is still providing the cable to the town. Around the time it got bad I saw a tall skinny guy use my fence to climb the pole. I figured he was drunk and did not really connect it to what is going on.I pay for about 200 mbps and I am getting on average 10.Fast forward to three days ago. Zito came out and fixed the box again. Works for two days, then one day my dogs start to go nuts at the back fence. I go out to check after about twenty minutes because I was groggy and do not wake quickly due to meds. I see the same guy hopping down from the pole having used my fence as a brace. I am back down to 10 mbps.They really need a lock for the box.

Horrible customer service. Horrible. I have a faulty router that I have been calling about for literally a month and my issue is STILL not resolved. They have tried telling me the issue is one thing, then another, then another, and another etc. you get the point. They have NEVER said anything like “apologies for the inconvenience”. My baby monitor goes off of my WiFi and I continually have to reset it all of the time. Several times a day now. They suck. Service sucks. I don’t see how they remain in business. I am not usually one to post a review but I just had to share my horrible experience.
New customer in Elko with the 50Mbps plan, I have had service about 12 days now. Never seen anything above 0.2 Mbps, even at off peak hours. Every time I call, they say there are 10-15 other customers who are reporting same speeds and there are ongoing repairs to the local infrastructure- but no info when speeds will be back to normal.

I was given a four hour time frame for them to arrive in. They were over an hour late and didnt bother to call. I had to contact them asking when theyd be there. Ive had my service less than a month. It is gone out multiple times with no discount on my bill. Not impressed!
Overall the service is okay. BUT, when we were leaving the state I spent hours (and thats no exaggeration) on the phone to stop service and return their equipment. As of now I still havent spoken to a rep.
Our tech, Jose, was absolutely amazing! Some of the best service Ive had when getting started up with an internet company. He was on time, provided excellent service and explained everything to us. Glad we switched to Zito, Just wish the service was better. I havent been able to use my 5G service once since I have been with Zito due to poor connection.
Very poor service for a high price once out of promotional period. But what else can you do when there’s only two service providers the area and the other is Frontier which is slow speeds for average price.

Yesterday late afternoon Jay and Ricky established a 2nd cable in my residence. The Zito technicians arrived on time; their work was professional. Both were courteous and informative. Jay & Ricky double-checked that I understood how to use these two tools. Also, they made sure everything to the tiniest wire piece was cleaned up! Both technicians worked too with my manager, Trish. Bless you for making my world a more fun and informative place.
The customer service is absolutely awful. They came out to install, left the cable laying out in the driveway, half way hanging off of my home, and left scrap pieces of cable in my yard where my puppy and toddler play! I waited on hold for 45 minutes to reach someone in regards to this issue; problem still is not fixed. I will never use this company again.The install seemed “great” until they left in a hurry, and left things laying around and didn’t put them back or clean up their mess. I shouldn’t have to babysit grown men especially when one is training. Seems to me the trainer is teaching the new install rep bad habits. We might even cancel services now after having for only 48 hours, because they did not fulfill their duties.I’m ashamed of this company, and their allowances to do these things to other people’s homes.
I Have been calling since before my bill was due to make a payment. Apparently nobody works there because regard lists of what number I call I am on hold for hours. I have call logs and hold times on record. Now theyre going to charge me a fee if I ever get through. Not a happy customer get it together zito

First they bring me incorrect modem(100mbps) wait a week. 200 mbps modem comes in. Gets installed. Doesn’t work. Call, get some Hope from one customer service rep. Make appointment for someone to come out and check it out. No one shows up. I call customer service and get told they came out and that everything is good, not sure what they checked because i wasn’t home and internet is still none existent.... Can I just get internet service? Not sure how Zito is best service in town here. This is pretty pathetic. Get it together please.
I was born last century and this company is not currently in this century. There arent many choices for internet access, so Im stuck with them. Their tech is awesome, Jose is always really great. Customer service is not very helpful on the phone. They put charges on my bill which I didnt know about. Be careful people. Stuck is stuck no matter how you put it.
Terrible customer service, Very rude associates, poor quality provided.I pay for the highest internet service, but its ALWAYS GETTING THROTTLED. Rarely do I see the service I pay for. Unfortunately the only other company that offers service in my area has actually found a way to be worse.
Beware! Having ended service, returned equipment on a longstanding, automatic payment schedule with Zito Media May 2020, fraudulently charged in July 2020. Having contacted Zito Media twice, received confirmation of their error with promised reversal of fraudulent charges within 5-7 days... NO Reversal of these charges to date nor do they accept continued attempts to rectify this unjustified charging on an account no longer active or in arrears. Zito Media is corrupt!
I call to have service hooked up in my house I call at 9 am and was on hold for 2 1/2 hours still did not talk to a rep I hung up and tried to call back at 330 pm and I am still on hold and it is 645 pm now don’t thank I will get internet hooked up in my house after all
This company is fine. The problem is not the company. Its the town and its location. The fact they have few fiber optic lines running out and the mountains and weather make it much harder to get a satellite signal to the cable provider. Ever cable company that been in this town has failed and had poor service. You think the a coincidence. No! Its the geography and topography. I mean most residents are still running DSL and sat link internet. Which is horrible and out dated. While every other place where stuff actually happens. Is running cable internet. Its because companies just arent coming and making that investment. Its cause ever other has failed and they dont want to take the risk. Those of you on sat cable and internet. You better think. Cause both dish and direct are losing thousands of customers a month and millions of dollars money. Do to streaming services. Their current business model is not sustainable. Theyve even admitted that once their satellites go down. They dont have the money to launch new ones. They are on deaths door step. So you have a plan. So maybe people should embrace Zito. Through this tough time. So they get enough money to bring that town and the surrounding towns. Ino the 21st centary. I just moved away. My internet is cable and downloads 50mgs a sec more. Thats what happens when you live in actual civilization. When both sat providers go down in the next decade or sooner. Cable providers will pretty much be all you have for a decentinternet connection. You cant stream and run multiple devices on DSL at top speed. Which effects your picture and the quality of 4k streaming. 5k is coming soon. DSL doesnt even have the bandwidth to make that an option. So the people better embrace a cable provider. So some company will actually invest the money to run more and more up to date lines through the mountains. Until then. Your going to be stuck with very limited bottom of the tech barrel internet connection. Compared to whats actually available to people who live in places that actually matter. Nobody cares about susanvilleand the surroundingtowns but the resistance. Thats why they stuck 2 state and 1 federal prison there. Within a 60 mile radius of eachother. People dont think that place matters more then just a place society keeps its unwanted locked up. Step up and make it matter. If people would of done that years ago and kept the towns technology up to date. Along with up to date with a lot of other things. I might of stayed.
I was switched over to this company after my other internet company got sold to them. Service was great for about 2 months but it has been out for 4 straight days now and they keep saying they are sending someone out to fix it but nothing is happening. The ISPs in my area are a damn joke, and I thought finally a new company was going to come in and do a good job but this is ridiculous.
Was doing real good. But I installed all my own cables and did my own setup because you were unable to climb up a ladder... Sad really. Was almost impossible to get you guys to wave the installation fee. Now it just seams you all just take turns being in charge. I understand you guys will not allow your technicians climb 3 feet for fear of damage risks. But for the inability to answer a phone for two hours just to answer the simple question, is it a personal problem? or a area outage. is just a bit much. I was forced to hang up and call again... Luckily you answered after only a minute (means you put me on hold and just forgot to answer the call waiting) AKA: Not doing your job! Other than that. I have had no real big issues with you guys. You are the first isp that wasnt requiring of me to reset my router everyday. (not sure if its because of my ability to plug things in, or your overall up-time.)
The lady in our local office is awesome. Our local techs are good. Customer service when you call for issues is atrocious. I dont want to hear you dont know when I tell you my internet is not working. Then you schedule me 3 days out on my only day off and dont even show up, tell me your working on it and will call me back, only for me to call back 4 hours later and find out another appointment is scheduled. If your company doesnt fix it this time I am done. Great internet......when it works. So far I have lost internet at least twice a week since I signed up.
They have some sort of serious issue which affects my little corner of town (midtown, mind you) that they know about but havent been able to fix in almost half a year. Nice enough people, totally incompetent. If you cant provide the service you advertise because your techs cant maintain your equipment, you shouldnt be allowed to do business.

If I was able to change providers, I would do it in a heartbeat. I do not like the way they discontinued some of the services without any warning i.e.( Music Choice). The service and/or channels is shrinking yet the cost is rising. Also I used to have CMT and Nickelodeon and they are gone

Let’s see, where to begin..I called Zito around the second week of November, they were very helpful and scheduled to have someone come out and install cable and internet.They arrived on the 18th and installed everything.They only issue was the cable didn’t allow me to view about 40 of the 80 channels so I called on Nov 21 to cancel the cable portion and leave the internet service.The man was very nice and didn’t ask many questions on why I wanted to cancel the cable service. He told me everything would be taken care of and I even asked him “when would someone be coming to disconnect it?” He said that I didn’t need to be home, as they wouldn’t do it on “their end”.Fast forward to mid December when I get a bill for $266 for two months of cable and internet. Of course, I immediately called and was sent to a supervisor named Amy who was not very friendly at all. Not once did she apologize for the situation, but even went on as to blame me for not calling to say the cable was still on. I literally had no idea it was still on as we changed our furniture around so the cable didn’t even reach and disconnected the cables literally the next day. She also said that I hadn’t provided them a day that I would be a available to be at home. That is a complete lie, I never spoke to her before that call and I even made it a point to ask when they would be coming during my previous call. I am stay at home wife, so I am literally always home or have a very flexible schedule. After arguing w her for more than 20 min, she insisted that the best she could do was cover half of the cable bill but I felt that was not fair do to the fact that the error was theirs and not mine. She was very defensive and offered no sort of consolation for this mess, instead stuck me with a higher bill than what I should be paying.Fast forward to Dec 27, they were supposed to finally come disconnect the cable between 1-3. At 4:30, I called zito to inform them no one had showed. They asked me to wait until 7, the end of the programmer’s work day. I waited and called again around 7:30 because I didn’t want to be blamed again for their failure to disconnect my service. During that call, they informed me that the programmer had called out sick during the morning. They could have let me know during the day! They should notify all of their appts so that they wouldn’t have to wait at home. They also had ample opportunity to tell me when I called them regarding my no show appt at 4:30! I reschedule for Jan 4 with an operator who was very friendly.But here I am, on Jan 4, waiting for Zito to show up. I am currently on the phone with them and they just informed me that no one was schedule to come out today. This is just getting ridiculous! If I had options where I live to use another company I would.
ITS A VERY SAD STATE OF AFFAIRS (avoid doing business with Zito)!Ever since Zito took over service in Susanville CA Ive had nothing but problems... the quality of cable service has continued to go down hill, yet the cost for basic services has skyrocketed! Lots of promises but little to no improvement in services.They consistently provide the poorest TV reception & the worst Internet connectivity Ive ever had! Also, eventhough I paid extra for super high speed) I was unable to watch a streaming movie without buffering & constant lost of connection!Customer Service, (you wait on the phone as much as 30 minutes to speak to someone, for tech appointment & then the tech doesnt show up).Customer Support, Account Maintenance & Technical Support is absolutely appalling! Theyre even unable to keep track of their own equipment to the point they have tried to charge me for old broken equipment they replaced & took with them... Absolutely no communication between our local office & the main office NO ONE SEEMS TO KNOW WHATS GOING ON in either office!I HAVE NOTHING GOOD TO SAY ABOUT ZITO MEDIA!!!
I use to recommend the service cause it offered 100 Mbps and it stayed connected vs frontier who would shut off at unknown times for hours. But 3 month later Im still paying for 100 Mbps but Im only getting 8 Mbps and tech comes out to check line and basically says sorry we cant do anything to fix the data loss that is happening on your street.Well at least tell your customers about the issue and offer compensation for not getting what you pay for.
On the phone they are always extremely polite and try to be as helpful as they can but the local techs just dont seem to care about their jobs. Ive battled with them for a month now over slow or disconnected service theyve been to my house quite often leaving assuring me that service is fixed. Not once has the internet worked at the speeds I was promised most of the time I am only getting a speed of 1or 2 mb/s. The customer service line says they will rebate the bill for this time but upon reviewing my statement they only rebated 10$ I am tired of having to call every day, dont use this company save yourself the trouble and find some other company for your internet service.
Most of the time we have pretty good speed. Three devices streaming separate services (hulu, amazon, netflix). BUT there are times when it bogs down, usually when everyone in the neighborhood is home.We often get unexplained outages. Which is a pain when my spouse often works from home and that is impossible without internet. On a positive note I called once to complain due to a lost day and they gave me a prorated discount.One HUGE complaint is that I dont think I am actually paying for speed. I am paying for DATA. We had a mid level plan and got cut off about a week from the end of the month because we had used up our data. Heres the pain, there is NO WAY to track the data usage. If you call them up and ask them, they cant tell you. When asked for a website or some way to measure my data use I was told that there is nothing available.I would use someone else if there were anyone else worth a darn. Frontier is totally bogged down in my area. The Satellite company doesnt do internet in my area. Oh, well. I just want yall to know what you are getting into when you sign up with Zito.
One of the worst companies Ive had to deal with. EVER! Come Thursday it will be five weeks of garbage internet. For four weeks my internet did not simply work. I called almost daily with no resolve. Answers including its on my end not theirs. A PS4, PS4 pro, desktop PC, all tried wired and wireless and a iPhone 7 plus and iPhone 5S all did not work. No connection whatsoever, and if it did connect, it would connect long enough to show you online and then back off. Could literally do nothing. Direct from modem, direct from router and wireless and nothing. Maintence even told me its from the pole to my house and they need a pole guy to come out and fix it. Order was in on December 3rd. Still not here to fix it. Gave me a whopping 25 bucks off my bill for a month yet my internet hasnt worked for a month. Not only do I still pay for my internet that doesnt work-Im screwed on my Netflix, HBO Now, Crunchy Roll, PlayStation plus and data on my phone. Also any online only games. All stuff I pay for and can not use because of their extremely poor service. I can transfer more data via horse and buggy with binary code chiseled in stone than I can with this company. Unreliable service. My internet goes down several times a week, sadly the only other ISP in Susanville is Frontier, which is even worse.
Spoke with a worker named Kim. She was awesome and gave great customer service. And had all the answers for our questions.
These guys have horrible customer service. they will take forever to schedule an appointment, then they schedule it for two weeks for the day you called. they overcharge. they are rude. the service is obviously messed up. i WoULd NOT recommend this isp.
