We found Bluestarr as something to get my youngest son into extracurricular activities. My daughter decided to also give it a try and has found a love for something I would have never thought to get her into. Fast forward and we now have gained an amazing extended family. Coaches and teammates who encourage one another. Amazing role models who care about their students on and off the mats. My children both look forward to attending class and have gained lessons and perspectives I may have not provided on my own. An amazing business would recommend 100%

Bluestarr is the best! It’s a family atmosphere with great instructors. I have known Sadiq and Dana for years and there is no one that I would trust more to train my kids or me.

Not only is this place known for their pride and professionalism in the way they take care of their students but the provide the very core values allot of these TV shows and media out deriving your kids of. Since going there ive been inspired myself just watching these kids go out there and give it their all respectfully whole heartedly. Im thankful for a school like this. They dont sugar coat anything, its real school preparing you for life not the reel youre kids in with some fake techniques and such up your money. Upon entering the building I was greeted with hostility. Any person claiming to be a teacher or lifestyle influencer from this place needs to be evaluated. Truly not a place I would take someone impressionable and young. Experienced grapplers and supporters not valued here.

Blue star grappling has been at changing Grace in my life. My two oldest daughters and I have been going here for approximately four years. Professor Sadiq has so much to offer, in jiu-jitsu and life. All the coaches and team members are wonderful and humble. This is our second home. Would definitely recommend.

Bluestarr is an amazing gem. The instructors are all professional, amazing at what they do, and truly care about your progression. Coach Sadiq is amazing cant say enough good things about him. It can be a little intimidating starting something like this, but the family atmosphere here will set you at ease. Regardless of if you are trying to compete, or if you are just trying to have a nice chill time and learn some fun moves I highly recommend checking this place out!

It can be intimidating to walk into a place like this with little experience but the coaches and other students make sure you feel comfortable from day 1, while ensuring you are challenged appropriately. Its a true family environment where everyone from young kids to seasoned adults can grow and develop new skills while getting into great physical shape.

Ive spent 6 years training at Bluestarr and have trusted my daughter to Sadiqs capable hands. I value the quality instruction and time the instructors have spent making the sport fun and interesting for my child. This is not only an academy for sport jits but spends equal time training no-gi as well. A well rounded curriculum equals very satisfied customers.

First time taking Ju-Jitsu classes, and let me say for anyone who works out and is in good shape, this was a huge ego check for myself. This team was working me my first day. All in all, Great instructor(s). Sadiq knows what he is doing, and if you don’t want to listen to a comment on reviews, just look at the competitions the team attends. There work, effort, technique, skill, and training shows. Anyone can write a good review. Just go and check it out. Sadiq is very understanding, and will work with you if this is something you’ve wanted to try but are hesitate. This is well worth your money, especially if you want to be able to defend yourself.

Join a family, not just a school that trains killers.

My 3 girls have been in jiu jitsu with coach Sadiq for almost a year and I couldnt ask for more. Not only is this gym family oriented but each coach makes sure to help out all kids and spend equal time with them. I feel jiu jitsu has done more than teach my girls self defense, it has given them confidence. If you want a positive and non bully experience this is your gym.
