Maria has been so great to us. She has gone above and beyond to accommodate our needs during our rental period of two years. Whenever we had a problem, she was quick to respond and did anything she could to make it right. We have had very positive experiences with the company. Theyre friendly, understanding, and they actually put time and effort into getting to know their tenants.
Awesome experience with northland rentals! Never had any problems with this company! Answered every question we had within minutes! Provided us with all the information we needed before move in! Easy payments and Only place in superior that’s worth renting from! Security deposit got refunded very quickly! Overall amazing experience! Would recommend to everybody to only rent from this company! All other rental company’s in superior were very difficult to deal with and tried screwing me with my deposits!
This place was well stocked and had everything I needed : sugar, pots, pans, towels, paper, pens, microwave..you name it!
Professional, knowledgeable, good looking & very helpful.
My 83 year old mother Jeanne entered into property management agreement with this company. They rented to a young couple who vacated the property only 6 months into a one years lease! The company in question failed in two areas (Ensuring Market Readiness) they failed to adequately inspect the property after the tenants left. We found thousands of dollars in damage to the property as well as requiring major cleaning to bring it up to market ready standard. She even had to hire and pay for the work required by herself! They also failed in (policy enforcement) in the caring and treatment of the rental property that resulted in the damage to the property clearly their responsibility on both counts!!Under Wisconsin Law We need to make a reasonable attempt to rent the property while the leaseholders continues to pay on their lease, which she is willing to do but not with the current rental management company. They sent her a letter that they want to terminate the contract at the end of April when renewal comes due, leaving a month left in the lease with the destructive tenants.Since we believe they are in breach of the contract which would require legal action, we strongly believe there has also been a breach of trust and would like them to do the right thing and terminate the contract ASAP. Since again, we would like make a reasonable attempt at renting the place, but not with this clearly negligent rental company!I also feel this is borderline elder harassment since she isnt sleeping does not want to go through a court process and would just rather incur the loss of damage, the loss of the deposit and the remainder of the lease due. As well as the additional court costs from the rental company If she terminates any additional contact with them, which she would like to do. You have to be pretty low too want to put an elderly person through that!By the way Dawn Hasting works for or owns Northland Rental Resources, and is the person who is harassing my Mother. So why is she posting a review AT A COMPANY she works at or owns? its called ASTROTURFING ITS UNETHICAL AND AGAINST GOOGLE POLICY: (THEY CAN SUE)I REST MY CASE THESE PEOPLE HAVE NO ETHICS!Run from this company as fast as you can!!!David S. I am a property owner that Northland Rental Resources has managed my rental property since July 2011. This is a wonderful company that has certainly taken the day to day issues off of my hand. The let me know immediately if something is wrong and needs repairs and I receive montly owner statements that clearly state all income and expenses. Credit and background checks are done as well as insuring that the rent doesnt exceed 45% of the tenants monthly net income. They also provide many other services for a reasonalbe fee that I have taken advantage of such as lawn care and snow removal. I highly recommend. The staff are very pleasant and extremely helpful
NRR was so easy to work with, promptly addressed any issues, and were always really friendly! Would definitely rent from them again, sadly our unit switched management companies.
They do a great job of handling everything. I have referred people to them and they are happy:)
They expect each tenant to clean the house from top to bottom sparkling clean, buy new filters for the house, and if you dont steam clean the carpets then they take 200.00 off of your deposit plus another 250.00 for any carpet repairs .THIS IS ABSOLUTELY ILLEGAL FOR THEM TO DO !!! Under the wisconsin government law about illegal landlord practices it states that it is ILLEGAL TO CHARGE FOR ROUTINE CARPET CLEANING OR DEDUCT FOR IT FROM THE SECURITY DEPOSIT EVEN IF YOUR LEASE STATES THAT YOU MUST PAY FOR CARPET CLEANING! THE ONLY EXCEPTION IS IF YOU DAMAGED THE CARPET BEYOND NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR ! IF YOUR LANDLORD DEDUCTS MONEY FROM YOUR SECURITY DEPOSIT OR IS ASKING YOU TO PAY FOR ROUTINE CARPET CLEANING INFORM THEM IN WRITING THAT IT IS ILLEGAL ! They are running there business very wrong and cant believe they are getting away with murder !!! They are even saying that they will charge us for having to paint, and fix wood floors if they need it and fill in nail holes and etc but those are also illegal for them to try and charge tenants for !!! She is very cheap and is wanting the tenants to do all of the work for her which is illegal for her to charge and take it from your deposit if it is not completed!!! I am very thankful we are getting out of this place in two weeks and never have to look back on this place again ! The other places i have rented from have always been friendly, they have professional maintenance people 24/7 who are professional, and they dont avoid situations and threaten you with an attorney so you will stop calling.
Absolutely nothing but bad experiences with this company. The staff is terribly unhelpful and unfriendly. Although I understand the hoops that one needs to jump through to prove that you are a responsible tenant, the questionnaire and background checks that this company had to perform was bordering on invasion of privacy. I went back and fourth with them about sufficient funds when I made over three times the rent. Once we finally got the place and started to move in, the place was a mess. The floors were dirty, cabinets had bits of food and dishes in them, nothing was dusted, and none of the smoke/CO2 alarms work even after signing the amendments in the lease abut them. None of my keys worked and when reported back to Northland I was told, our person was just there and said they work...are you sure your doing it right, did you try jiggling the door? After dealing with many of their employees, none of them were pleasant or could give me the time of day. I feel truly sorry for the landlord who had to pay for a service that they did not receive.
