I booked an appointment online. Found parking in the back lot as today was the annual art and wont festival. Easy to find, and the decor is simple and beautiful.My technician was Nhu. She worked on my feet first. I hadnt been in for a pedi in over 2 months, and my feet showed this. She was polite and asked how short I would like my nails. I appreciate that she didnt do much small talk, and yet was still pleasant.Once finished with the pedi, we walked to a nail station table. The manicure came out beautifully as well. I was so relaxed with both mani and pedi, I closed my eyes during the massages and just enjoyed the experience.This salon is more expensive than Im used to, but I can see the quality in their products, environment, tools, and location. I aim to come in atleast once a month, especially with a gel mani and pedi.

I want to start out by stating that I love my nails and that I am happy with the outcome. However, my low rating is purely based on the treatment that I received from the staff.This was my first time visiting the salon and I specially chose it because of its rating and that it is considered upscale. I drove 20min from Palo Alto for these two reasons.I have suffered from injuries to my feet over the years, I am a special education specialist, and I have been recovering from severe mental health issues during the pandemic. Needless to say, I’ve been repairing myself and treating myself as I am in recovery. Though I don’t feel as if I should have to explain WHY my feet were in the shape they were in, I felt as though I had to.The manicure was great and Lam was very nice, I wanted to leave a really great tip and review! However, when it was my time for him to do a pedicure for me, I changed my mind. I sat in between two other clients and their techs, it quickly became apparent that I would be the topic of conversation. Not only was I literally stared at for an hour and a half, I was talked about, laughed at, and even other staff members came to my chair….bent down to look at my feet, stared at me, laughed, and walked off. To make matters worse, I am a curvy woman and proud of it, but it was a problem to the staff surrounding me. I wore leggings and I insisted on pulling up my own pants, Lam proceeded to do so and made grunting and heaving sounds for all to hear, making faces, and laughing as he did this.Lam then had the audacity to ask for me to leave a review for him on Yelp promoting his work.Being the person that I am, I hesitated to say anything because I didn’t want anyone to get in trouble, I didn’t want to make a fuss, and I don’t enjoy confrontation. However, I knew I had to say something when I was trying to reason with myself that “I do feel better so, I shouldn’t say anything”.Bottom line, I am a human being and deserve to be treated with respect. I was very polite and kind, I never even asked for corrections to be made; I sat in silence and took it all in.Regardless of my outer appearance (I think I look great, considering all that I have been through), I shouldn’t be treated differently, made fun of, or laughed at because of it. They preform a service in an extremely vulnerable way and this was unacceptable.I ended my time with pulling aside the receptionist and told her what happened; I couldn’t help but cry and told her that I wasn’t trying to get money off or a free service….I just wanted her to know that clients deserve better than this.I will not be returning and I encourage others to highly consider their other options before making an appointment here.

What a fantastic experience at Kitchen Nail Bar, Sunnyvale. Will is AMAZING! Best acrylic set I’ve ever had. I will absolutely be back and I highly recommend this salon!

I have been coming to Kitchen Nail Bar for a little over a month since I moved back to California. Linh has been my go to person since and I cannot recommend her more. I am very picky when it comes to nails, and Linh is an awesome nail technician. She did my nails for my wedding and they still look good after 2 weeks. As you can see from the picture, you can hardly see a difference between fresh nails and 2 weeks later.As long as I am this area, Linh is the only technician that will touch my nails.

The staff where friendly and nice. Did the spring pedicure and anti-aging manicure. Had a reservation at 4pm on a sunday. It was very busy but they have lots of staff working. It was a nice there but the lady doing my manicure didnt do a very good job. She nicked me on 2 fingers. There is a gap between my cuticles and the polish so it looks as if it grew out a bit already. The polish is uneven and bumpy. I asked for square shape and it looked fat and stubby. I went home and filed the sides in myself so it didnt look so ugly.

Lena is the absolute BEST! And she is such a sweetheart. She gave me the best dip manicure Ive had since moving to California 5 years ago. My nails look like acrylics. Thats how good of a job she did. Her customer service is also wonderful. I am 8 months pregnant and she made sure that I was comfortable the entire time. I will be booking with her again! I booked a couple of services last Sunday, Slice of heaven manicure and Goddess experience pedicure. It was the most relaxing 3+ hours Ive ever had. Kit and Mimi were amazing techs. Im definitely going back.Kitchen Nail Bar is LGBTQIA friendly.

This is my go to spot!! I used to live right down the street but recently moved to north San Jose and I STILL make the drive to come to this location. Will is my #1 when it comes to nails. He is one of the most talent nail techs I’ve ever met!! If you have some crazy cool artsy ideas, he’s your guy!! I give him a photo for reference and let him just have fun with it and he always blows me away with his artistic abilities. He gets extra points in my book for being hilarious as well, not a single boring moment with this one haha. For toes, I highly recommend Linh. She takes her time, pays very close attention to detail and she’s super sweet!! She never disappoints!! If you’re unsure what to get, I recommend the wellness package. It includes a scrub, paraffin wax and massage and it’s ahhmazing!! Make sure to make an appointment in advance though, they are almost always super busy (which is a good sign). I love this place so much, it would be hard to even consider another spot because there would be no comparison.

I love this place so much! The nail techs are so sweet and do an amazing job. I’ve been here a few times and I always leave as a satisfied customer. My nail tech was Brian, and he was such the most sweetest person! I showed him a picture of what I was looking for and he made it come to life. I’m loving my nails! Thank you Brian, you’re the best!

I walked in to see the establishment and found a serene environment with soft music playing. they looked very busy, but the friendly receptionist found a time for my pedicure within 10 minutes. Very comfortable chairs with massage in them if I wanted.Wonderful massage, mask, lotions and relaxing experience.

Kitchen is always so welcoming and so relaxing every time I come in! Alexis was able to transform the ruins of an old acrylic mani and save the tips and reshape them beautifully into a perfect almond shape with a flawless dip manicure. See you next time ❤️

I’ve been coming here all summer for pedicures. Everyone that has done my nails has been polite and sweet. The massages have been awesome. I keep coming back because the pedicures last so long (at least one month)

This was my second time here. Staff is always nice, place looks clean. Will did my nails today and tbh he is much better than the one who did my nails before. He shaped my nails perfectly! I showed him a pic of the design I wanted - he did it ok. He also helped me pick the right color and was super nice. Clean&fast! He did it in less than 1 hour! When u book ask Will.

Love this place. The decor and atmosphere is so cool. I come here for Linh. I get mostly pedicures and sometimes manicures. She is the best. She is very thorough and pays attention to details. She gives a great massage. She is very nice and has good energy.

Had an appointment for a mani/pedi with a friend at 5pm on Friday. Despite being busy, we were promptly attended and seated next to each other. The chairs were massage chairs that were separated by plastic (nice touch for COVID) and the foot baths were freshly wrapped in plastic to avoid cross contamination. They have a wide offering of services ranging from basic to lots of pampering (e.g., paraffin, hot stone massage). They also have a lot of nail colours to choose from as well. The person working on my nails did a really nice job but my friend’s nails were a little streaky.

Place is always packed and rightfully so. Staff is pleasant and conscious of whether youre comfortable or not. Being a male I have no clue what package my wife gets me I just throw on some headphones and tell them to ask the boss if they have any questions, sit back and relax while they do their magic ✨

I had a great experience at Kitchen Nail Bar. This was my first time getting dip powder and it worked very well for me! I wanted a durable manicure that wouldn’t chip on vacation and Will did a great job!

Just what I wanted and they were very quick.

The lady who did my pedicure was good. The lady who did my manicure and my husband’s pedicure was forgetful! She cut my nails too short and I had to remind her a few things! The massage was concentrated on one side of the neck:shoulders only!Even though I opted for a specialised manicure, it felt like a normal one! She cut nails of only one feet for my husband!

Mani and pedi both chipped after a day. I have gel on my nails and polish on my toes how could both chip? Wanted to like this place, but they aren’t in my opinion being very safe with Covid and Delta happening again. The place was packed to the brim the minute it opened. Just not worth the health risk and getting a bad mani pedi for $100? Not worth it.

Absolutely LOVE this place. This was my first time coming here for a mani/pedi and wanted the best. Since the massage spas are not open I knew this was the closet thing I could get to a nice relaxing/pampering day. I got the total package the best of both mani/pedi and it was sooo worth it! They treat you so well and they even time everything so you know you are getting your moneys worth. They really know what they are doing! Very professional, organized and clean! I recommend you going un. Everyone was very warm and welcoming. Will is great if you want a mani and an amazing shoulder and neck massage. Already booked my next appointment in 3 weeks. Will is an extremely talented nail technician. The staff members were all very welcoming when they learned it was my first time there. When I told Will it was also my first time getting acrylics, he was patient with me and was happy to show me different ideas to pick for my nails! When I showed him a picture of what I wanted, he suggested a couple more options for me to choose from for more of a dynamic design.Overall, I was satisfied with the visit. It was not a long process, and I was relaxed and comfortable. Wills attention to detail & professionalism is easy to spot. 10/10 would come back for another design!

My mother in law and I decided to try out this nail salon instead of the regular salon we go to. We were so so happy with their high level of professionalism and beautiful atmosphere. My technician Linh was great! Skilled, responsive to feedback, and friendly. The salons covid precautions were acrylic barriers at all mani and pedi stations and everyone wore masks.

In my own opinion I think you should not use the same nail polish for pedicure n manicure. I was there yesterday and my girl was waiting for the nail polish to be available cus another girl ask for the same color. Specially now with covid-19. You need to have polish only for tooes and separate for Mani. I feel so discusted now. And to top it off the girl cut my skin 😤😒😖

My first experienced here was great with Will, I had a full set acrylic and it was amazing. He took his time and made sure everything was the way that I wanted with my new set, I give will 5 stars!!! My pedicure with Vy was very disappointing, she rush through my pedicure and did very poorly on trimming my cuticles. I would not recommend her or will I ever go back to her, I give her 1 star. Overall it was a nice relaxing, clean environment. I will definitely be back to see Wil. Thank you will for your amazing work greatly appreciated it
