This review is my experience with Ruckus support on Brocade products after they had acquired their ICX Division. Myself along with a Brocade partner contacted them to transfer a Open POD license to a ICX6610 switch that was not licensed. We needed available Ethernet ports on a 1 POD switch. They simply would not transfer the license that was never installed on the switch. It was simply attached to a switch on paper but when performing a show version on the switch you can clearly see that only one with the license key is activated. The second one was still on paper but never installed nor activated. Regardless of this fact, they in a smug and unprofessional manner youre out of luck. We had even offered to pay a transfer fee or compensate them for their time. Yet again we were only given a stern no with no resolution. We are now stuck PODs that we cant use even though we had purchased them from a Certified Brocade Re-seller. Moving forward I would advise people to look for other network switching solutions as this company could not care less about their customer satisfaction.
