My sons mac pro all of a sudden dropped dead and couldnt be charged either. He is a junior in high school. We cannot afford too much time lost over the checking/repair process. I brought the laptop to this store and Eric worked over time to fix it so I could get it back on the same day rather than waiting for a long weekend. They fixed my laptop. He fixed my adapter and also opened up, My computer. 😬😬😟When he was inside he said he vacuumed up La Roaches or la roacha. Which is great. I dont want bugs shorting out my computer Ive already had three years with this one. would expect it to last another three years now that its been cleaned! the owner of store seemed disgusted while having a panic attack when I picked up my laptop.. I deal with it everyday of my life, so they dont phase me anymore! Hope he doesnt infect other laptops. Thanks for not telling me how to turn on my computer. I thought he had ruined the motherboard for about 5 hours after i got it back. Had to google it. To find resetting instructions.

A few months ago, I brought my MacBook in because, due to some bizarre reason, my power jack was burnt. Eric and the team did a great job replacing it as well getting me a new power charger.Unfortunately, just recently, it burned out again. I have no clue why. Luckily, Eric said he would replace it without charging me! Again, I dont what is causing this, and fingers crossed, I hope that I dont have this problem again.Thanks, ClickAway!

Sloppy job, suppose to put a touch screen, made a mistake and ordered non-touch. Reattached the first screen is does not stick tightly to the window. Sloppy. Promised that will order another one, never called back, after I called, said that he ordered the wrong size, will order another one, again, never called back. I am trying to get my money back so I can take my lap to another repair shop. The repairs name is Eric.

The provided quote liquid damage repair for my phone was extremely high - $399 if successful, $99 if not (for trying). While I have no doubt the service would have been incredible, I got a much better deal from Ubreakifix in Santa Clara.

They seem to be dishonest soon as I go in the an Asian lady tells me your hard drive is broken without even looking at the computer inside. Tells me to buy a there refurbished computer for $400.00. I say no and tell her just do the diagnostic two hours later she says same thing. Also when I got my computer back it looked she had not even touched it. She was just pushing for me to purchase a new computer from them.

First, they took all the necessary COVID safety steps, which was good to see. Second, the staff are professional and customer service is their top priority. Every step, from the time I called on the phone to the actual repair of my phone, customer service was top notch. Erik was very good about explaining what was happening with my phone. My phone was one of those casualties that couldnt be repaired, but Erik was able to save my data. I would definitely use them again.

They can’t fix all the stuff you have. For my case, the data migration work they did for non-system disk will corrupt your windows account. And when this issue happens, they just don’t know how to fix that, which is not professional at all. Then I lose all the app and registry data.I expected you know most cases for related work. If all you can do is just copy and paste, or finding some easy-use software to do the jobs. Why don’t I do it myself instead of spending another 300$ on you?

I went into the Sunnyvale office on Saturday the 17th, meet with Erik, he was so nice and knowledgeable, he kept me updated on my computer. Today is the 20th, I now have a new system with a new printer, he came to my house and set it up. I love my new computer thank you Erik.

This is bad! My stepdad had some problems with his computer (iMac), and he took it to this store for them to diagnose. They told him to trash computer. So he ordered new iMac and put his old computer in the garage in case there is way to transfer data. After that he planned to take it to ClickAway so that they can recycle. When new computer arrived,y dad turned on old computer out of curiosity, since new “didn’t look” exactly the same. Turned out - old computer functions perfectly well. So those guys planned to get one iMac in actually decent shape for free. Very very very bad. I will say just one thing. My stepdad is 94, so you know - someone may think that they can tell him anything and he will believe in it... very very dishonest company!

I called the Apple Store to see if they would fix my bulging laptop battery. I had a lot of music software with expensive licenses on the laptop and I wanted to take my SSD out (or let them take it out) and take it with me when they left the laptop. They wouldnt do it and declined the repair. They also quoted over $300 for a battery replacement. I brought my laptop to ClickAway and they opened it up right in front of me (before I paid), safely disposed of the bulging battery and gave me my SSD in an antistatic bag they provided. I picked it up the next day and talked about some stuff with the chill staff. Total cost of repair was under $160 but I dont remember the exact amount. Highly recommend this location for laptop repair and battery disposal

OMG! Stay away from this place. What a terrible place, they charged me $149.99 just for installing the high Sierra, even though I do that easily at home by my self. I brought my Mac book pro here to fix, but they update the high Sierra, and called me that we fixed your computer, when I took it after five minutes using it Started the same problem which it had before l, than called them that you didn’t fixed my computer, they told me to bring it back to the store, when I brought it to the store after three days they called me, we won’t be able to fix your computer, because it ganna cost around $1000!As my conclusion they just looking for your money not for what your problem is😡😡😡

I broke my cell phone last night. It would not charge overnight even though my cell phone thought it was charging. My phone is an off-brand. They fixed it on the spot. They are awesome. I have been using them for years for my computer needs, and I will continue to do so!

The best computer shop Ive dealt with. They beat the price on a laptop I had found online with an employee discount. Exceptional deal. Its hard to imagine a local shop beating an online price. ClickAway does a great job in our office. They arrive very fast and take the time needed to resolve and explain whats wrong with our computers. They fixed a network issue that had plagued us for years too. We dont have our on tech staff so ClickAway Sunnyvale staff is a great outsource service. I recommend them to any business.

After 3 weeks of not having a working laptop I decided to take mine into a computer repair shop. After doing a couple searches I came across Clickaway. After seeing past good reviews I decided to give them a call. I spoke with Leo on the phone and he said he would be able to take a look at it. When I walked in Leo greeted me and I gave him a description of what was going on with my laptop. After hearing me he said it was something he has dealt with before and assured me he would be able to take care of the problem. After leaving he called me with an update on what was going on. I would highly recommend Leo because of his great attitude and knowledge of computers. I think he is one of the senior computer techs at the store. I came the next day to pick it up the laptop and to my surprise it was running as if I just bought it:) Overall great experience and did i mention hes a gamer as well!

Save your money. These guys do not do what they promise and are way over priced. They charged me $150 for a fan service and did absolutely nothing, I took the computer back and was promised that they would change the fan and would charge me for the price of the fan and no labor. They wrote up an invoice and told me that they would call me as soon as they received the fan. That was three months ago and I am yet to hear from them.A store close to my house changed the fan and got the computer working for $85.He also told me that the people at Click Away hadnt even opened the computer because the original factory seals were still intact. I have all the invoices if anyone is interested in seeing them.After seeing their response I sent an email to them and offered to send them the invoice to prove that they did nothing. Guess what?I am yet to hear from them.8/9/2021It is interesting that they did not offer to reimburse my money or help in any other way but blame it on having been involved in business with Verizon. An irrelevant and moot point. Looks like it is business as usual.

I dealt with ClickAway in Sunnyvale about a month ago. I broke the screen of my nexus 4 and gave it to ClickAway to repair. Harry S. was the technician who worked on it. It took close to 3 weeks and multiple phone calls to finally just be told it was not repairable. It was a little surprising to me, but I had no idea of the true horror waiting when I went to pick it up. The glass back, which was pristine when it was dropped off, was cracked in multiple pieces. The frame was chewed up like the phone had been put on a vice. It was clear there was no intention to fix it.At least in this case, ClickAway/Harry S. are either incompetent (and must be extremely so) or dishonest. This is the worst experience I can remember for any service. They do not deserve the minimum 1 star.

Manager Walter Rivas. Very Rude To Customers. Stay Clear From him.Long time Customers with Verizon with entire Family. Mr. Rivas accused a Family member of already having a item from the store, which was not. Other Family member, and friend was present to confirm item was not given at that time. Mr Rivas initially told us that item will be mailed. Which wasnt. Mr. Rivas accused Family member that he already gave us the charger. Friend, and Family member agreed that Mr. Rivas was very disrespectful towards Family member. Sarcastically told another customer he was also helping, that we were some interesting people.Not a proper way for a supervisor to act!

Terrible... took my phone into this location for repair of a cracked screen, and thats where the trouble started... The store told me they didnt carry the repair parts, but they could order them, and have the phone fixed in 3 to 5 days... I expressed to them that I was from out of state, and how critical it was for me to have the phone repaired promptly... So, 3 days go by, then 5, and still no phone. The employee I inquired with at 5 days was polite, but completely lost. He had to wander around the store and search for the phone for 10 minutes before finding it, and then telling me that it hadnt been fixed yet, because the repair parts had not yet arrived. I asked how much longer, as it had now been longer than their original time quote. It was now Wednesday. He typed on his computer for a few seconds, and told me it would be fixed Thursday or Friday. Great... More waiting. Friday I come back in expecting bad news because of the lackluster performance so far, and thats exactly what I get. Repair parts have still not arrived. Now Im angry. I ask if they know where the repair parts are, and when they are expected to arrive. The employee says they have no way to contact the parts supplier. WHAT?? What kind of business operates and orders supplies from a supplier, and has no way of knowing if the parts have been shipped, and when they will arrive!!?? Im sorry... The employee tells me... But we have no way of contacting our parts supplier. They dont even know if the parts have been shipped!! Unbelievable!! I take the phone to another business, ubreakifix, which was recommended to me by several people, and they have the phone fixed promptly, in the time frame they promised... I cant believe this company can stay in business like this... With no way to track repair parts from a supplier!! Dont use this business if they have to order parts for you!!! if its a phone that needs to be fixed, take it to ubreakifix. They were much more attentive, professional, and got the job done when they said they would.

My phone stopped charging and turned off after the battery died. I took my phone to this store and they spent a week diagnosting it and after a week they told me the motherboard is faulty and should be replaced. I was really surprised because the phone was working completely ok before running out of battery. I took my phone to uBreakiFix and in less than a day they told me only the charge port is faulty and the day after that they gave back the phone repaired and working like new!!

I was having trouble with my computer not booting up and showing a black screen. I remember having my phone screen replaced here when it was cracked and one of the techs, Iman, was very courteous during that time and got me up in running in no time, so I decided to give them a try with my computer woes.I came in and spoke to Travis and Leo. They informed me that my hard drive has failed and I would need to do a data recovery to get my data. They told me upfront the costs and their money back policy concerning using a clean room since my drive was in bad shape. The price was very reasonable, so I let left them my drive and computer.I got a call the next day from Travis that my computer is ready for pickup. He was very helpful on showing me some backup solutions and recommendations to speed up my pc.The following day, Leo called me telling me that my data has been recovered. I was overjoyed to hear that everything went well. I spoke to him a bit when I was looking at the data and this guy knows his stuff well.I would definitely recommend these guys to my friends.

Hooray, Hooray for Click Away! My old laptop has been acting up for a while, and got really bad last week. After getting no where slowly with Comcast, I finally remembered to call Click Away. What a difference! Mr Nguyen was booked that day, but able to come out the next morning, to see what I could not describe and find answers. In one hour, he had my laptop up and running better than ever!!! He even explained why I was having so much trouble with Xifinity Internet. In spite of their high price, they do not treat us as individuals. We are just part of a bundle of customers. They bundle their services and bundle us as well. I should have known. He aslo taught me a few simple things that even an older person can do to get better results. I am still no where near his standard of use, but I can do much more much faster, with less annoying interuptions. It was a little expensive, but a much better use of my time and money than dealing with Comcast. He was great at understanding my limited skills and helping get this laptop working well. These guys burned my smartphones screen! Brought them my google pixel which had a different issue and after diagnostic was told they cannot repair it. Screen had a visible black spot after their diagnostic. Went to an authorized google repair shop afterwards and was told that screen needs replacement now because Clickaway technician didnt know what he was doing and fried it.

Wanted to upgrade my Macbooks hard drive + RAM so I took it in to Travis and Leo. They told me the costs up front and it sounded like a good deal so I went with it. The next day, Travis gave me a call and I picked up my computer. My main problem ended up being that the new hard drive I purchased turned out to be defective (impossible for us to know after the clone and installation, and took us a bit to come to that conclusion) and caused certain programs to spike the CPU. This began a week long series of tests to figure out what was going on. Fortunately, Travis, Leo and co. were incredibly patient with my computer and my situation, as we ended up troubleshooting the hard drive issue for over a week. 2-3 clones and other tests later, we concluded that the new hard drive was defective. Even after all of that, Travis was willing to help me re-clone yet again, once I replaced the defective replacement drive with another new one. Bought a new drive (again), brought it back to Travis, and my computer works better than before! Will definitely bring my computer back for any other repairs/questions/upgrades.

Incomplete but good fix for the money. I had a laptop blue-screen during bootup just before Christmas vacation. For $50 Clickaway did an overnight diagnosis that showed hardware was OK, and then showed me how to force it to boot from install DVDs, but they did not do it for me. I did it myself and retrieved my backup, saving at least $200 and much time. So Im completely happy with them. Only bad point: they wouldnt accept an expediting fee, as Computercare does. And Im not sure Id trust them with a deep complex hardware issue. But my end-of-2011 experience was fine.

Bought Samsung Note 4 here. Great people to deal with. Not lost in a crowd like some big box--just sayin Perfect for buying Samsung. You get attention help here and you still have the Samsung factory island at BestBuy. I think a better combo than some Genius Bar.
