Its like a plantation. If you are a Technoserf, you may want to rent an office here while you starve. The floor plan is open cubicle land. They have clean restrooms with mouthwash, so your breath smells good for potential clients (that was a thoughtful touch). There are massage chairs, if you are stressed about where you are going to park and sleep for the night, or your start up is running out of money to pay for the cubicle you are sitting in. There is a coffee and snack shop and nice areas, indoor and out, to eat your cup of noodles and strong coffee/energy drink. There are hip little tables and chairs around for you to have little power meetings. There are words of encouragement from industry duchebags written on the wall to encourage you to work harder. Crack that whip, eh. The place is a sausage party though, and women are not so common, mostly Bros and Nerds. It is an OK place for your Unicorn dreams, but dont get your hopes up because only 2 out 10 start ups make it here and even then, you are still working the plantation that Silicon Valley has become. If you hit it big, cash out and move on to a nicer place where all your money doesnt go to housing. Not a bad place otherwise. So go ahead and rent some space here and be in the middle of Silicon Valley, you cant go wrong landing here. You might make some new friends and do great things together and it will have started here at Plug and Play. Good luck on your dreams!
Awesome co-working place to be. Lots of good startups have started here.It has a good cafeteria with new menus everyday. Well maintained and serviced. There is a separate coffee and snacks section counter and well maintained by the ladies there.Lots of space to sit out in the open area.It has a bunch of massage chairs to relax as long as you want and unlimited coffee and green tea. Cafeteria also has a snacks vending machine.Parking may have issues of space sometimes if you arrive office late.
Best startups in the world!
Excellent hi tech office space for starting a startup. Most of well known Silicon Valleys IT companies have started here and had very good exits. See the pics.
I started my company two and half years ago and now it is time to leave. Quite hard to say good bye. Im going to miss this place A LOT! This is such an amazing community, ideal for early stage technology start-up companies. My teammates and I enjoyed working here.A couple of highlights:- Great staff: warm-heart, always read to help- Lots of chances to meet other start-up founders and VCs- Lots of chances to listen to what others are doing (EXPO)- Great Cafeteria, good food at lunch - Flexible cube renting, network/phone etc.- Many community events- Full of entrepreneur spirits that can inspire you to work- Perfect location: center of silicon valley- a lot more ...
Be very careful about finances when dealing with them. They are full of hidden fees. I was there for three months only, and there wasnt a single month that my invoice didnt include some hidden fees. Then when you think you are done dealing with them, it takes them 3 months to return the security deposit (It has to be processed they say!), and even then, they make sure to take a bit from your deposit as well.
Pretty bad place to work. The overhead plane noise is extremely loud and unbearable if you are sitting on the second floor. There are also a lot of car/traffic noise if you sit near the walls near the streets. The office walls are thin as well and you can hear people talking outside the meeting rooms when you are inside a meeting room. The meeting rooms themselves are very hot and there are no thermostats to adjust it.The food options are expensive and the plates start at $10.21+. Otherwise, you have to pay per the weight of your salad from the salad bar.
Good place to rent an office if your company is small. Base rent is reasonable, but there are a lot of extra fees that add up. Just review the list of charges for services before you sign a lease. The office space is nice and the building is more secure than other shared workspaces that are open to the public.
They call themselves the heart of Silicon Valley but there is only one Electric Car Charging Station !!! What a vision. There is literally a cat fight between the growing EV drivers. You are in Silicon Valley not anywhere else. It shouldnt be hard to put 2 more stations
Wonderful startup center, have spent couple of months here for working on project. Would always advice to keep attending event. Wednesday was free co working day.
This is a very versatile place to visit and collaborate. The staff is super accommodating. I happened to be visiting with DXC IT for a security innovation meeting. The parking g is plentiful. The road access to Plug and Play is practical. The Budda at the entry is calming to look at even if your not a practicing Buddist.
Great spot to launch and grow a startup. The staff like to connect companies in different sectors for maximal cross-pollination. Very happy and friendly environment of innovation.
Absolutely terrible place. Old, dirty outdated and very unfriendly.Awful staff... Iranian staff are the worst ...
As a place for new and budding businesses, I loved the atmosphere of creativity. I wanted to stay longer and learn about more of the startups growing in the accelerator.
Startup Center for different industries and verticals - Fintech Energy Retail Food...
Paired with a company that was very obviously trying to just steal the IP for our idea. incredibly unprofessional and unorganized. audibly laughed through half the presentation. and called me chicken when i wouldnt give out proprietary IP through video chat.
Lucky to have a chance to visit this place. Meet a lot of great people.
Great people, great ecosystem and great startups. A lot of things are happening in there. Congrats to all the team!
Thank you God bless all of you for kindness
This is the place to innovate. Lots of options, flexible configurations, good healthy food in cafe.
* WIFI here is terrible.I get timeout sometimes in peak hours. They need you to pay more money to get better bandwidth. The worst case I am offline. The best case is about 3M/s download and 1M/s upload speed. Sometimes I can not get the work done using WIFI. When I want demo sth to my clients using WIFI. I have to think twice before I do that. Or I have to plug to wired internet. WIFI is worse than starbucks coffee shop for sure. We want to move out this place if the WIFI speed cannot be improved.* Food here is good.* Coffee shop closes at 4:30pm for cappuccino, latte, etc. They also provides hot coffee for free.* Commute is good. It is close to high way 101 and central express way.* Temperature here is cold. Keep people waking up. It is a good thing for startups.
A legendary location in the Silicon Valey offering everything young busineses may need, e.g. office space, access to financing, staffing, mentorship and even a top-edge data center. It may be dark inside, but a spacious patio compensates for it.
