There is party by the pool every weekend that makes huge noise and make it impossible for people to sleep! And dont expect your deposit back even if you cleaned the apartment before moving out. So dont clean it up!

Good apartment if you find a deal or move in offers, but if you are planning to move in july - october you might prefer living in an 5 star hotel as the prices are sky rocketed which one with a normal salary cant afford.

Me and my husband recently moved in here & it’s been great. We love the space and the environment. People are respectful here and the apartment is super dog friendly (which we love) !!! All of the staff is amazing and easy to work with. They made the process easy and are so friendly. I would recommend living here!

Best place Ive ever lived!This complex is great. Top features:- Soundproof walls. I have never heard my neighbors, and no one has ever complained about my 4am EDM sessions- Very good AC. I survived the summer with 70F interiors during 110F heat waves.- Good washers and dryers - powerful, reasonably fast, and side loading- Good kitchen and utilities - large fridge, nice stove/oven, GREAT dishwasher.Amenities are probably nice, but seeing as I moved in during covid Ive never actually had a chance to experience them. Suggest negotiating for cheaper rent, since you cant use the closed amenities.Parking is free for first car per person on the lease, $100/car/mo after.We have had some problems with package theft, but management was responsive and arranged the secure mail room.Overall fantastic place. I will be sad to move out.

I stayed here for 20 months in 2019-2020 and I didnt experience any serious issues.The rent was somewhat expensive.Around the end of 2019, we had an ant infestation, which the management took care of.I successfully received about 100 packages, and my bike was not stolen. My room was quiet enough, though kids yell in the courtyard occasionally. The air conditioning was powerful, but it sometimes had trouble keeping both bedrooms at a comfortable temperature at the same time.Our sink came loose once, and leaked water all over the kitchen. Management fixed this too.

Overall experience is nice. New appliance, large room, neat gym, convenience traffic and quiet surrounding areas. Paying relatively high rents but this place is close to google/amazon campus. In most time, the office stuff are helpful and capable.One part is not good, sound insulation. We had a upright piano, even though we turned on the muffler, paste all sound absorbing panel and play quiet. Still got complaints from downstairs. And we occasionally (a couple of times a week) heard noticable living noise from upstairs as well. I think the floor is designed too thin.As a recommendation, if you play acoustic piano, pick the room at first floor. If you dont want noise, like floor pounding, pick the room at top floor.

One year update after several vehicles were broken into last year (around the same time). Car break-ins are still occurring. Dont let the gated parking garage confuse you with safety. I have not seen the security vehicle that was implemented in months, so honestly dont know if thats still a thing.Been contacting management for a week and half now. Called 3x, was told that this will be brought up with a manager (they didnt bother taking down my contact info until I asked how they will reach back to me). Emailed the office as well, with 2x follow-ups, got a response a week later saying that this has been brought to the managers attention, it has been several days and still no response from any managers. At this point, I dont even know if they will be able to check any security camera footages since it has been so long.Another thing to note is that due to the rate of car break-ins in this building, moving in here can cause your car insurance premium to go up as the insurance companies factor in the crime rate. 6TenEast hasnt taken any accountability for this cost that they force upon their residents.

The apartment is new, overall it’s nice and quiet. Do have some security concerns and staffs are not always responsive.ProsNew apartment with parking, quiet, and pet friendly.Do have security camera and access control from the outside.ConsWhen we stayed here, notice several car break-ins in parking lot. And there was ants in our apartment.Some staffs are not super responsive and not always show up in office hours.

New apartment complex when I moved in. Even though it’s close to the highway, it’s very quiet. The property complex is well maintained and everyone at the leasing office I’ve worked with has been very responsive. Very pet friendly. Even though there isn’t a dog park, there is some grass around the building and there are two parks in walking distance which is awesome. I’ve been here for over a year and am only moving out to be closer to my new job.

I just finished a walk thru tour of the complex and I am very impressed with the amenities 6Ten provides for its residents ! They are also dog friendly and there is a dog park across the street for your pups. The location is conveniently near 101 but surprisingly quiet. Customer service was top notch and Alexis answered all my questions! Thank you so much and I hope to hear back from you guys very soon

I lived in 6TenEast for the past year. It is the best rental apartment I ever lived in. Modern new building with lots of high tech stuff. Very nice and responsive staff and management team. Great location - very close to 101 but very quite. Very close to many big companies in Silicon Valley.If I were not to buy a house and had to move out, Id live there for many years.

Avoid this apartment.So vehicle break-ins right in the gated garage area, without useful help from the management (if an email minding the residents to report strange activities, tailgaters, etc could do any help..), or even a security improvement plan, is what you will get for paying more than $3400/month to 6Ten East for a one bedroom. Their action right after the first break-in event is taking NO actions to prevent more of this from happening again. Their negligence on improving their poor surveillance system has led to at least 4 MORE break-ins happened recently, which could be prevented if they took the safety of residents seriously and responded to the crimes.This apartment is not worth the rent.

The management team doesnt care about lost packages, broken cars and people who live here, the only one thing they do is to trick you with bad attitude.If you plan to live here, I wish you a good luck.

More than 4 cars (even more) were broken into in the paring garage within one week and the leasing office did nothing about it and even tried to hide the truth from us. Very disappointed.And there are people smoking weed in the parking garage and holding parties in the pool area till midnight. Tons of complaints were reported to the leasing office but again, they ignored them.Let me ask you a question, why are you willing to pay such a high rent and live in such an unsafe and annoying place and have to dealing with those irresponsible and rude staffs?

I am writing this because we feel unsafe living in this apartment. I would not recommend anyone walking outside their apartment alone until the security becomes the top priority for the management team at 6ten. I wish someone from the property management team will have the heart to hear our concerns. The primary security loop hole in this complex has to be the garage entrance. Once someone is able to enter the garage by following a car through the slow closing garage gate, he/she can visit anyones apartment or enter any facility but the gym. That is likely why car break-ins are extremely common recently. This is an uncommon practice for a luxury apartment at this rent rate. No cameras in the garage currently. A security card is not required to enter the build from the garage either. It would be nice to see some non-templated responses from the property committing to address the need of its residents. Received an email from the leasing office today stating that they have long aware that the crime rate is rising in the neighborhood, the property cannot do anything and the residents will have to take care of themselves. It is a little sad to see statements like this, and it is not true that the leasing office cannot do anything. Hiring a full-time on-site security person would certainly be a good idea at this point. The community is under target right now, adding cameras and alerting residents about any incidents is the least the property can do. Being up front about the situation and avoid finding excuses for flawed security system will be certainly helpful in gaining residents trusts.

The management is extremely negligent. A week ago, 4 cars in the garage were broken into, but the management did nothing, then my car was broken into this week. They didnt even have cameras in the garage. When enraged residents started posting real comments here, the management started posting fake 5-star reviews impersonating as peter park and Evan Doyle. Why dont you impersonate as peter parker, which might make your review even be more believable, ah? Also, the wire fence of the property was cut, and is still not fixed after 2 weeks, even though the management had the time to write reviews from fake accounts.

Careful! Cars get broken in at this place! There are at least 4 cases in 3 continuous days. The leasing office was lying about how many cases have happened. They are not showing us the security camera clips and not covering the fee to fix the car window. They just said This happens everywhere in this country. Very rude people!

See pros and cons below for apartment including apartment location, parking, and moving out fees. If you choose to stay here, avoid facing pool/bbq areas, high utilities, and prepare for high move out costs.Cons: (1) often used as corporate apartment housing so lots of parties / noise (2) issues with package pick up - had to call Luxor and door was jammed sometimes (3) parking is impossible to find if you dont want to park on the roof after 9 pm (4) move out costs: charged us 170 for appliance cleaning when we had very clean appliances and 70 for carpet cleaning - studio with only about 125 sqft of carpet and no pets (5) incredibly high utilities - high flat rate for water and sewage + additional cold and hot water usage (6) management does not handle complaints about weed, noise, and gym very well - emails dont do much. (7) thin walls and ceilings (8) hallways are never cleaned and smell (9) trash room is small and always messy (10) car break insPros: (1) service is quick to do maintenance, leasing office staff are kind, (2) free storage unit, (3) free bike storage, (4) rent increase is fair but probably because of poor reviews (5) appliances are nice / modern.

6ten is such an amazing place to live. We have lived here for almost two years and dont plan to move any time soon. The property management here at 6ten goes beyond their jobs to make us feel at home. It literally feels like resort living. We recently had a couple of car break ins and people are quick to blame management..they have gone above and beyond to apologize and increased security. This evening I was impressed with the event held here at 6ten. They hosted an event for us to meet the security team ask questions and Sunnyvale public safety department join. I am beyond blessed to be living at 6ten and love everyone in the office! They are professional caring staff that go above and beyond expectations. from leasing consult, assistant manager to property manager. Our maintenance team is amazing and courteous. The lady that maintains and cleans the property is so sweet and does an incredible job. I have never felt unsafe on the contrary it is hard to get into the building and I love that about it. I will continue to call 6ten my home and share with everyone to look into living here. Thank you property management team for all you! We appreciate it!**** I would like to add I am not justifying that it’s okay for people’s cars to get broken into but complexes are not responsible for this and that is why it is important to have renters insurance. Yes! It smells like weed sometimes but management is doing their best to address it. No place is perfect but some people are very entitle and that is not okay either to be disrespectful to others. I love living here and will continue to do so.

I have lived at 6TenEast almost 2 years now. I have noticed some varied reviews and thought i would give mine as I live here.PROs:1. Easy quick Access to 101fwy and Peets Coffee2. Quiet, clean apartment complex - Its well maintained3. Pre-Wired for fiber internet4. Has the amenities you would expect - heated pool, jacuzzi, party room, and free secure parking and bike rack (* i know that a few folks had their car broken into during a few days few months back - but luckily 6Ten added a security guard and no issues that i am aware of since)5. Management and facilities team are very good - They try to be helpful and meet your needs as soon as they can. Team is also very friendly.6. Priced Better than similarly styled apartments in downtown Sunnyvale or San Jose.7. Trash shoot and recycling rooms for collection8. Has AC and heater and storage roomsCONs:1. Dishwasher works fine but just takes too long and dryer is kind of noisy.2. Moved here in late October from Encasa (across the street) and have had a very good experience since. The management is nice and the complex is small enough that they can pay attention to you as a resident and a person - I had issues with the management at Encasa and many complaints went unanswered. The common areas at 6Ten are quaint and stunning and it feels more like home than most apartments in the area. Lots of parking available if you decide to have guests. So far, quite a positive experience.

610 is the worst property experience ever. I still have nightmares about renting with 610 even after leaving their properties.Their core management team is the most unprofessional Ive ever had the displeasure of renting with.They did not reply to emails, office close on moving day without giving us notice and apt keys, have a wrong email address on file, even we gave them many notices to correct, still, no action which causes us lots of trouble without apologies.scheduled a walk-in move-out inspection, when I get there I have been told that the office will send me the statement due to the inspection staff wasnt available at the time.waited a month never receive any statement or email from them.went to the office again ask for statement and picture evidence, they said will send it over.waited another week with no respondsending them email ask them to take action on this, after 2 weeks still no respondthen debt collector called us? (put us on debt collection without any notice and dont reply email which we send out 2 weeks ago???)so went to their office again for the 3rd times in the morning the manager said she will reply us the end of the day. ok, we waited still no respond.visited the office for 4 times, still didnt get solved.cuz no matter how hard you tried, they ignore you.They refuse to do the right thing refuse to reply email and refuse to communicate.Stay away from these people, youve been warned.

Update on August 1:Received an email saying that a stationary patrol will guard the neighborhood after hours. Raising my review to 3 stars. Keep observing the situation moving forward.—————————-4 car window break-ins in the gated garage last week. 2 more this morning and this is just what I saw. Can’t imaging how many in total. Reported to the leasing office but was told that they are going to install more security camera but NO ETA. After all these horrible things, they even don’t want to hire an after hour security guy. As a resident, I strongly feel insecure living in this place. I will not give a higher review until they take effective actions that truly care about the safety of residents living in this neighborhood.

I saw many cars got broken-in at this place. The leasing office was not doing anything since the first case. And more cases are happening everyday. They only sent out email saying they are planning to put on cameras in the garage, but it already took them 4 days. I will leave this comment here to see how long it takes them to take real actions.

Thank you.Update 1:Management have now taken the time to hear our feedback meeting us face to face. They have resolved several issues for us which we appreciated. One main issue still remains outstanding which management are working on now to close. Once resolved I will update this review with the final outcome.——————————Management are completely unprofessional and do not care one bit about any issues you might have. Broken doors, no hot water, damaged car paintwork from leaking car park ceilings, loud stomping noisey neignbours on wooden floors, afte hour parties at the pool and rude unprofessional management! Avoid at all costs!

Wanted to share some recent security-related events happening in the 6Ten.Over the past 3 days there have been at least 4 incidents of car break-ins (each taking place at a different time). Important thing to note is that the damaged vehicles were all parked inside the gated area. Moreover, at least in one incident the car owner was sure not to have left anything in the car.So far the apartment has not come up with any sound solution besides telling people to mind tailgaters. Straightforward solutions like installing more surveillance cameras seem to be facing some reluctance from the apartment.It looks to me that the area can no longer be deemed safe, and access control gates cannot guarantee anything either. At the same time, I cannot see any plan or action to fix this problem either.This place does have a lot amenities, but security does not seem to be one.

Won’t live in this place again. More than 4 cars have window smashed and item lost in the past week, and homeless people are walking by all the time. Shocked that this would happen in a gated apartment.The leasing office has done nothing about the recent issues, and they plan to continue like that. They are trying to hide all these up and tell different tenants different stories. Or perhaps it’s because the victims are Asian, and the office has no intention to help. Whenever you ask, they would just ignore these issues and tell you it’s not possible to happen here.Also same as other tenants, I smell marijuana all the time and pool side party noise will often continue to late night.

I have to say that I just had a horrible experience with 6Ten. I moved in(sublease) 3 month before the og lease end.1: The office initially messed up with my email address. During past 3 months I have NEVER received any email from the office(even I have noticed them on email and in person that they have my wrong email address in file). But however all the effort I made has been IGNORED2: When I was trying to discuss about my incorrect email, I been told that they also sent email to my roommate and in this case they blame on my roommate for not letting me know all these emails.(come on, my roommate saw you guys forwarded me in every single email but he dont know you have my wrong email address, how can you blame on him?? Please dont blame on my roommate regarding to any future email issues, he is not even in the states and having hard trouble using Gmail due to the internet control in certain countries.)3: On Dec 15, 2018, I vacated my unit. And I have scheduled a walk-in move-out inspection on Dec 17, but when I get there on 17th I been told that the office will send me the statement due to the maintainers wasnt available at the time. However, it end up I never receive any statement in the past month (those statement been sent to the wrong email address)4: I stop by at the office on Jan 16, 2019 since I never hear anything from the office and I want to understand whats going on with my moving out process. Thereafter, I received an itemized list of deductions they claim they are withholding from my security deposit. Included on the list is a $300 deduction for painting the interior of the house due to dirt on the walls and a $240 deduction for a professional cleaning service. Since we left the unit in clean and perfect condition(which I have video recorded everything), we didnt see any noticeable mark or dirt on the wall, so I requested picture evidence for the wall, and I have been promised that they will send me all the picture evidences by the end of the day. And we had an agreement that I will pay for all the fees once I got the picture evidence.5: Until yesterday I suddenly got a phone call from the collection, says my debt is affecting on my credit record. I been put into a collection list before been IGNORED ALL TIME and havent receive any picture evidences. I stopped by at the office again this morning, been told that the maintainers deleted those pictures already.....and then I was trying to argue why didnt they letting me know in advance, and they were keeping blame on my roommate again...6: I will have to pay for this unreasonable painting fee now since they put me to the collection, but this is truly a very bad experience living there. Also according to the lease I signed, I should only take 75% responsibility of the painting fee according to the full 12 months rent policy. But they still charged me 100% due to the Major damageI am so tired spending hours and hours talking to the office for hearing all the excuses and blames. As you wish I wont come over asking again, Ill pay whatever you want me to pay. But a one-star review here, you made the choice. 祝你新年快乐
