Taylor was very knowledgeable about the products and plans offered. He listened to my wants and offered several plan options that would fit my need. However, the store did not have visibility of the online scheduling. I was on time for my appointment, checked in and waited outside - all followed the posted protocol for appointments. When the customers in front of me walked out a person who was waiting in the store without an appointment was helped before me. The store claims to not have knowledge of appointment times and claim to not know when someone is checked in. Verizon needs to figure out how to have the scheduling be visible to their associates.

We stopped in to see about deals to replace our phones. Taylor spent time with us and explained every detail, so we knew just what we were getting in to. When our phones came in, Logan got us all set up and went out of his way to get us up and going. We also watched him work with other customers while our phones were getting initialized, he was professional,, courteous and helpful to all of them. We will definitely use this Verizon store from now on.

I made appt on Verizon app to visit this store at 1 pm today. Sign on entrance says open but front sign is dark, as is the inside. I waited from being early until 1 and nobody showed up. Store opened at 1:05 just as I was about to drive away.

I was told that they would have the phones I wanted to purchase in store, if I would call a couple of days in advance. When I went to the store, they did not have the phones. I was told to come back the next day and they would. I arrived to find that they still did not have one of the phones. Then they tried to sell me a more expensive one. Extremely disappointed.

Very nice to talk to as well.Update: After a month plus of service, not happy with the coverage (Verizons fault not the individual store). Next to zero cell/data service south of Madison (south of Fitchburg/Oregon) and a mile from the store by the highway get very poor cell/data service.If you live in the city and dont travel much, go for it if you get a good deal, if you live south of Madison, I would recommend At&T.

Signed up with a brand new account today, phone works fine but when setting up the account the associate asked for my pin and entered it himself. Now when I try to log in to my Verizon it wont let me... and when I went back in to try to fix it I was told there was nothing he could do to help me. Poor customer service..

If I could give zero stars, I would. I decided to pick up an online order at this location instead of the store in Madison. That was a mistake I will never make again. I hadn’t been to this store in several years so I decided to give it another shot. How hard is it to pull an order for pickup?! Their customer service is still terrible! I ordered a new phone for my son through the myverizon app and selected Victra in Sun Prairie as the pickup location. What should have been an easy process turned into a 45 minute wait, and I left the store without the phone. During this wait time, the employee didn’t even communicate to me that their was a problem. I received an email that my new phone was picked up while standing there waiting for the phone. After 10 minutes of him printing out a new receipt and doing something on the computer, I finally asked what was going on. He said that it had some to do with a stock issue but could not elaborate about what was going on. Then 5 minutes later he asked if I had paid online. Well, obviously I did since this was just a pickup! He said it was trying to charge me again for the phone. He finally said that he could cancel the order and I could stay and reorder from him or order through the app again. I left and was going to reorder through the app. The order never got canceled so I called and he said that he would contact someone and call me right back. An hour and twenty minutes later I called again. He said that it showed on his end that he canceled the order. He again said that he would call me right back. No call again. I went back to the store in the morning when they were supposed to open. No one was there. After waiting for 35 minutes, I drove to the Madison store. They were very helpful and could see that he had in fact not canceled the order and he had given my phone to someone else the day before! If he had just admitted to me that he screwed up and had tried to fix it, I wouldn’t even be writing this review. His lack of action and his poor customer service are unacceptable. The Madison store was able to have a Verizon rep cancel the order since they could not get ahold of the Victra store (no one showed up to open the store until after noon) and get me my new phone on the spot. Don’t go through the Sun Prairie Victra store. Make the short drive to Madison.

Went to the Sun Prairie Verizon store and had AMAZING service. While trying at home to activate my new phone it froze and I couldnt get to a Verizon store for a couple of hours. I am a Realtor so no phone means EXTREME STRESS. When I got to the store, Stacy IMMEDIATELY helped me out!!! She had my phone reactivating within minutes of arriving to the store and was friendly and informative!! Great Job Stacy - you saved my day!!!

As soon as I walked in the store I was acknowledged and felt welcome.I had to wait a short time while they worked with other customers but, I liked that they spent time answering questions. I knew that I wouldnt be rushed through a sale and I wasnt. One of the reps was working with a family who had some very involved issues with transferring a phone. When he had an opportunity, this rep asked if he could answer any questions I had. I didnt feel forgotten.The people who work at this store make every customer feel they matter.No question is dumb. I would not hesitate to come back.

Do not purchase from an authorized retailer, especially this one, until you read this review!I purchased 5 phones from this retailer and left fairly happy. Exactly one month later, my daughters phone started experiencing issues with the display. I called *611 and went through some lengthy troubleshooting that seemed fairly complicated for a display issue. So I took it to the Verizon store on East Wash, they were courteous, knowledgeable, and even though I was outside the 14 day return period, they had a new phone in their hand ready to swap when they discovered that it had been purchased at an authorized retailer. Unfortunately, they couldnt do the switch because I hadnt purchased from a company store. The sales rep directed me to try the replacement at this store (the store I bought it from). I brought the phone to this store and was informed that there was nothing they could. I asked to speak to the manager and Scott was firm in reminding that they were providing me no worse service than they had promised in the paperwork I signed. I agree, I did sign the paperwork, and their service was no worse than they promised. Their only option for me was to call *611 and follow that process. I ended up taking it back to Verizon store and within 5 minutes they had the overnight shipment setup for the phone swap.Based on my experience, I highly recommend that you do not purchase any phones from a Verizon Authorized Retailer, especially this one. Go to the real Verizon store if good customer service AFTER the sale is something you value.

Ive been coming to this store for 5+ years now. In all that time Ive not once had anything even close to a negative experience. On multiple occasions one of the staff stayed well past their closing hours to make sure that I was properly taken care of. The willingness to go out of their way to make sure their customers are helped to the best of their ability is something that most establishments are missing nowadays. This store has well earned my five stars. If I could make it higher I would.

Go to East Madison if you want prompt service.I have now walked out of the Sun Prairie Verizon on three separate occasions after patiently waiting for at least 30 minutes each time with little to no acknowledgement from the staff as they work with other customers at a crawling pace. Today an employee spent my full thirty minute wait just trying to check out a family who already had picked out their phones before I even walked in! While they were never rude to me, theres never been any effort made to be the slightest bit welcoming or apologetic for the wait. I will not be returning to this location.

As a Verizon customer, dont expect any help from these people if you are not there to purchase a new phone or accessories. I came in to reactivate my phone (which HAD been purchased there a year before) after I deactivated it to send in for a screen repair. They were completely rude - took my phone and said they charge $39 for reactivation, but would wave the fee if I purchased an Otterbox cover ($50+) from them. I told them I purchased the phone there a year ago - they wouldnt even look up my account - accused me of being one of those that purchased my phone on Ebay and expect free service from them. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone, and I will never return. Parents had a similar experience with this store - great service when they purchased a new iPhone, but very rude staff who clearly didnt want to be bothered when returning to store to receive assistance when the phone locked up and wouldnt respond about 2 weeks after purchasing it.

Couldn’t hear the ringer on my phone when I would receive calls and just wanted to see what my options were (fixing, insurance claim or get a new phone) I decided that I wanted to purchase a new phone. The “agent” informed me that it would take to long and he didn’t have time (I was the only customer in the store) in his defense it was 7:25pm and the store closed at 8:00pm. He made it pretty obvious that he didn’t want to set me up with a new phone. The agent definitely needs a crash course in customer service.

I also was expecting to get something for trading in my phone, but that part on the contracts Guest Discussion List was just left unchecked and not discussed. I should have asked at the time, but forgot, and will now have to go back.

I wanted to exchange a phone case for my new phone that I bought for around 300 times the price to make it, I was told I needed to wait a brief moment. After spending somewhere in the neighborhood of 15-20 minutes listening to the manager (Warnke) talk with a women about her vacation and plans for the upcoming future I was finally able to make my exchange. I should have known that he would tell me that there was nothing he could do because he is not linked up to any other stores and since I did not buy the case at that location I was going to have to make the trip to a different store. Valuable information 20 minutes late.What is the point of a Verizon store if it is not linked up to Verizon Stores? Might as well shut this location down.

I use to go to the East Wash location however the wait times and ppl there were not friendly. I now will drive a little further to come here. All the staff are friendly and kind. Ive worked with Stacey a few times and she is just a wonderful person. She always makes sure I understand everything and will walk me through how to do something and didnt make me feel dumb cause I dont know how to do something. Sometimes there is a wait but its just like any other location. I give this place a 2 thumbs up.

WATCH OUT, YOU WONT GET WHAT YOU ASK FOR. I came in looking to reduce my money bill and see if they had any different plans available that could do that for me. The salesman told they actually had a trade in deal where I could pay of the remainder of my old phone, trade it in, and get a new phone at no extra cost. Also, because I had paid off my old phone and gotten the trade in I would actually be paying $10 less a month. I was really happy to hear all of this. THEN I GOT THE BILL A MONTH LATER. I ENDED UP BEING CHARGED FULL PRICE FOR A NEW PHONE, $750 over the next 24 months for the upgrade, plus the $100 I paid to pay off my phone, and a $30 activation fee for the new phone. So I went back in and they said basically I was completely mistaken in what I thought when I left the store that day and now, and that I couldnt get my old phone back because it was traded it. My monthly bill is on average $10 more then it used to be a month. THE EXACT OPPOSITE OF WHAT I SAID I WANTED WHEN I CAME INTO THE STORE.I was contacted by the manager (Scott) after posting this, and again was pretty much told that I was mistaken in my understanding that day and the best that could be done to reduce my bill further was to get rid of the insurance for my phone. Bringing my bill down another $11. I am still very not happy overall. I had no intention of buying a whole new phone that day when I came in. I only wanted a cheaper monthly bill. If I had been told the truth that I only had $100 left on my old phone to pay off and it would reduce my plan to $70 a month and not been roped into a supposed upgrade deal that would keep me at slightly over $100 a month I would have been happy just paying that, but instead that didnt happen. Now I have to pay off $700 for a whole new phone that I didnt really need or want in the first place. I only wanted a cheaper monthly bill. Now I am forced to either stick with this slightly cheaper plan and or bite the bullet now, pay off the phone outright, and switch to another provider with a cheaper plan. I figure if any provider can give me a plan similar to the one I currently have under ~$60-$70 then I will come out ahead now. Having to look to switch plans is not what I wanted to do either, but now feel like I have to at least look more into my other options after this experience. I used to be happy being a Verizon customer, but now not so much.

A few days ago I walked in and the girl working was smoking a vape pen inside the store (I dont know the company policies, but I dont think they are ok with her smoking in the store). She claimed to be the manager but I highly doubt that with her attitude. I felt like she thought I was an idiot because I wanted an iPhone and she was clearly up Samsungs butt. Also was told accessories come with the in store cost and I could not choose to opt out of them. Felt like she was only worried about how she could make the most money, not what my needs were. I left and went to another store to get my phone where I didnt feel pressured into things I didnt need. I will not return to this store.

I am hoping to pass along some feedback about an employee of Verizon Wireless at the Sun Prairie, WI location. He was working yesterday alone at this location around 11AM. I was next door at Target running an errand with my 19 month old daughter. I thought I would stop in to upgrade my phone and check on my plan as I prefer in person for these things. I went in an risked my daughters attention span hoping it would be quick. I walked in and he was helping another customer with what looked like a fairly stressful situation so I ignored the fact that he didnt so much as say HI to me and I decided to be patient. 15 minutes later I still have not been greeted and my toddler wants to walk outside. we walk outside for a moment staying by the window so the employee knows I have not left.. While outside I notice another customer pulls up so I tell my daughter we need to go back in. it has now been 25 minutes, I have yet to be told HI. My daughter is growing impatient as any toddler would at this point so I pull out my phone and let her watch a quick video while I continue to wait, now with another couple as well. Suddenly the employee looks up from helping the guy, points at me and says I know you were first but and then proceeds to ask the other couple if they needed something. I have never been so frustrated and insulted in my life. The other couple was there less than 5 minutes. I had been there over 30 with a TODDLER. he didnt say hi, ask me what I needed, ANYTHING. just bypassed me in favor of the other couple. I got up and left at this point with tears in my eyes as I could have been home playing with my daughter instead of waiting patiently but I chose to give him the benefit of the doubt. I would like to know who this employee was and know he has been talked to about this. how insulting to a mom, a customer of many years, and a person. why was I chosen to be bypassed without so much as a hello after keeping my daughter patient and waiting nicely for some in-person help? Very very saddened by this.

Lets put it this way I would rather be at the DMV waiting for an hour than going to this store. This may be the worst staff I have ever seen anywhere. I was in a week ago and I still regret ever min I was in that store. They will tell you anything to sell you anything and you can tell they dont even want to be there. Whoever the owner is...whether it is Verizon or a private owner they should replace everyone. And really should just shut down the store. They actually have the nerve to call them self a premium preferred store... well that is 100% not the case. Highly recommended driving to a different store even if it is further away.

The manager there (Scott) let us know all of the details regarding my new Galaxy S7 Edge and getting it set up with a SIM card. Unfortunately it did not work because my phone is an international phone, but he let us know how I could save a lot of money by getting the phone trough the Verizon store and on our current service plan. Buyer beware!! My wife purchased a BOGO Mothers Day promotion by adding a new line to our account. We did not receive the credit for the additional phone. They also had her purchase a phone case, screen protector and charger as they told her it was part of the BOGO promotion, which it was not. Lastly, they did not give her credit for one of the phones she traded in. This BOGO promotion is a BAIT and SWITCH marketing trick!

Avoid this store. Signed up for a new plan with verizon, they threw a bunch of accessories in and told us it was all included when you sign up for a new plan. They ended up charging us $230 for the accessories and would not let us return them once we found out we were charged. Sales rep (Scott) had no sympathy and wouldnt even apologize for the charges. Bad service. Bad people. Go to another store in the area.Update: Scott also said we would get a reduced monthly payment for the new iphone 7 for trading in our old phones. Ended up only getting one month reduced and then were charged the regular price. Also said my brother and I would both get $200 visa cards for signing up two new phones, only got one visa card. Its actually kind of impressive how consistently bad he is at his job. How many bad reviews will it take for the owner to figure this one out...

Its been 6 weeks since our visit and the more I think about it the more angry I get. We were completely mislead by the store manager, being told that our phone trade ins would cover our accessories. We were never told what anything would cost, and got charged an outrageous amount for stuff we never would have bought had we known the cost. For example the 55 dollar screen protectors that inhibit the sensitivity of the screen, and one of which is already cracked while the phone hasnt even been bumped. In 6 weeks! Its very disrespectful and extremely poor customer service to be so dishonest during a sales interaction.

Terrible customer service. I waited patiently for the guy working to finish telling this woman about every aspect of her phone for an hour and 45 minutes without ever acknowledging me once. Five people came into the store and left because of the same reason, but I stuck it out only to have the other man, who I wasnt mad at, tell me I couldnt activate my phone (for a valid reason) after helping his customers in front of me. The man I was mad at was the one clearly in charge of the store, and should have more respect for customers and potentially lost business.

Absolutely terrible service. I have been a customer of Verizon for 15 years. Never thought about switching. I bought my phone from Verizon online and brought a screen protector from Amazon. I brought both in to a corporate location to have them install it (Janesville WI). They did, no complaints, I was so pleased. I have since cracked my screen protector and brought it to this location to have a new one installed (as the pack I bought from Amazon came with extras.) The male stood his ground and stated he can not put my new screen protector on, he stated this location is not a corporate location but they would tell me the same thing. I asked him if I needed to drive to Janesville and he was shocked that they put it on originally. What happened to customer service?! So disappointed in the lack of customer service. Not to mention the difference with corporate location and premium retailer ...

The store manager (Scott Warnke) here is not up to snuff. I was excited that there was a Verizon brick and mortar building close to my home and I could pop in with questions, but it is easier to do things online or go to the Verizon store across 151 from East Towne Mall.I was trying to get my state employee discount when I signed up and Scott would not give me the discount and instead required me to leave him a copy of my pay stub so he could fax it into corporate for them to decide and he would let me know. I never heard from him. I went to the Verizon store down the road when my wife needed a phone and their staff was much friendlier and applied my 15% state working discount to my account themselves after verifying my pay stub.Scott also enlightened me to how tethering even though it is a feature of the phone should be an extra charge. His example: Just because my car can drive doesnt mean I shouldnt pay for gas. After saying that I have no problem paying for gas (data plan) how I use the gas should be up to me. His response I guess we arent going to see eye-to-eye on this.This store needs new management.

Scott the manager was extremely helpless and wanted nothing to do with me and my insurance problems when he learned he wasnt getting a sale from me. Unfortunately I made the mistake of getting a phone through him a year ago and buying the insurance up front, not knowing that I would be limited to only using it through this location. They were dishonest with me then when my new phone had to be replaced after only 5 weeks. Telling me Id be receiving a brand new replacement, instead it was a remanufactured phone with problems from the start. Again today he tried using senseless analogies comparing my phone with a used car sale (ironically he reminds me of a crooked car salesman). He was rude and extremely condescending for someone with such faint knowledge of his profession. Its disappointing because I was excited to have a store close by, and now Id gladly drive an extra 30 minutes to do my business with a more competent store.

My wife & I have purchased 4 different phones from Scott. 2 Thunderbolts initially and then moved to a htc Rezound and a Razer Maxx HD. Scott is extremely knowledgeable about any of the products he sells and has helped us countless times in adding services or options. I travel all over the US, Canada and Alaska doing wildlife photography and have found the Rezound to be the best phone Ive had to date. Have referred many clients to him and will continue to do so. Highly recomend this retail outlet.

They dont sell prepaid SIM card kits. I was told to go to the corporate Verizon store. By the way nobody picks up the phone in this particular location, dont bother calling.
