Amazing and caring place to get your haircut cleaned up. Despite the long wait times, the haircut is well worth it and those long wait times show they must be doing something right. Definitely my go to when looking to get a haircut.

This place is really quite unique. Caters to men (a fair percentage, military). Its tastefully decorated with the express intent of attracting a male clientele- fooseball table, tv turned to sports channel and beer for those (21+) that get a haircut.Staff is friendly and attentive!

My wife and child went in there this morning and sadly enough because of no fault of there own, the place was booming and she regrettable has to come back.If you have ever been in there and met the owners you know they always have your best interest at heart. They take care of their own.To kat and Jen aswell as their employees, every customer is family.You know you are in the right place when even tho they couldnt get you taken care of and you had to leave, look on their face was if tho they had let you down. When actually it was the opposite. Just being in there watching them work, you know they are trying there best to make things happen. 😉

Never had a bad cut and always friendly. The girls know their clients and remember them and whats going on with them from week to week. Theres always a wait (because they do such good work, they stay busy) but theres plenty of entertainment offered for the wait. Kid friendly, airman friendly and mom friendly, the best welcoming atmosphere.

The Man Cave is hands down the best place to get your hair cut! My husband has been to numerous places over the past few years and his hair has NEVER turned out right. When he went to the Man Cave, it was a totally different experience! They understand exactly what look you are going for and make it happen. He has never been so excited about getting his hair cut! People are always complimenting him. I love the way it looks and they are so consistent in their quality of haircuts! We love going there not only for the amazing haircuts but also for the atmosphere! Everyone is extremely friendly and makes you feel important. By far the best place in Sumter to grab a haircut. They are right outside of Shaw AFB and I would highly recommend all military members in need of a haircut to at least try the Man Cave. Finally, a place a man can go for a hair cut, a beard trim, and not feel like hes visiting a beauty parlor. Its a great place to hang out if you have to wait for the next available chair, or if you come in a bit early for your appointment. I wish I had learned about this place sooner. Oh, the prices are reasonable too.

This is the best place in all of South Carolina to get a hair cut. They offer Straight razor shaves and even trim beards. The shop is conveniently located on 441 just outside Shaw AFB. To their credit you can get in and out in a hurry and out of the three haircuts Ive gotten there two were very good keeping in mind they specialize in haircuts for military guys of which I am not.I have yet to get a complimentary (cheap domestic) beer as advertised on their website as they always seem to be out but they always seem to have plenty of expensive craft beer which costs extra.The shop also appears to manipulate the pricing structure of haircuts to their advantage meaning theyll charge you for the next higher price tier if they can.Then theres the customer loyalty card program: get ten haircuts and the 11th is half price. Half price? Why not free?

I get my hair cut here every week and the staff are really friendly, down-to-earth people that have great expertise and will offer you a complimentary beer to go with your haircut. It has a really nice atmosphere and allows you to unwind making you feel as if you are actually chilling in a man cave.

Whatever youre looking for in a cut, mancave has you covered. Dont know what youre looking for? Youre still gonna come out looking great. Highly highly highly recommend mancave. Appointments help but its hit or miss. Generally without an appointment you can be in and out in an hour. Oh! And free beer!

Im giving this barber shop a one star rating. They have no service (at least not on Wednesday), there was no receptionist, I had barely two words spoken to me when I came in as a walk in to get a haircut. They had three stylists and less than five clients(waiting or already in the chair). One of the CLIENTS who was waiting let me know where I could sit, and notified me that apparently I just am supposed to sit down and wait until my turn came up, again no greeting or new client consultation sheet to fill out. I am a stylist myself and have worked at an extremely fast paced usually double booked salon. They would never treat a client (walk in or not) in such a way. Also the girls working today could have at least put an effort into trying to look professional, instead of like they just got up. I saw one girl go from one client to the next without even using cool care too clean her clippers! Thats a major dhec and OSHA violation also no barbicide jars to be seen! If this is top rated in Sumter Id suggest you steer clear of the mancave and choose law range or Kellys barber shop much better service, quality, cleanliness, and professionalism.

Ive tried numerous barbers on and off base. Kathy at The Mancave wins! I am older with thinning hair, so most of the barbers Ive been to peg me as a quick turnaround - in and out of the chair in 3-5 minutes. Not Kathy. She makes a haricut an experience. Careful consideration of graduated hair length based on type and thickness and straight razor neck shave. Top that off with manly smelling Clubman hair tonic & aftershave (just like the barbershops of old), good friendly conversation and great atmosphere all makes for an experience, not just a haricut. Oh, and did I mention that the 10th haircut is 1/2 price? Try them - you wont even think of going back to those other guys!
