My overall experience at Sumter Chrysler Dodge has been good thru the visits I have made with their service department. The service advisors were very helpful each time I have arrived.
Very Professional staff, was very informative with service to both of my vehicles. Service was in and out. No prolonged excessive waiting, prompt in and out. Excellent customer service was informed through out the process until job was completed. Through check of both of my vehicles to ensure my safty and future needs. Service dates were September 27, 28 and 29. Recieved follow up call to ensure I was happy with service I received. Reccomend to all my friends.

The whole crew there was pleasant and great. I was there for maintenance of my truck. I dealt mostly with the Service Department. Richie, Cleveland, Ben and the crew went above and beyond to make my concerns easier and not expensive. I had to rent a car while the crew worked until that Monday. Service put my package together and fair. Unfinished work, they gave me an appointment to finish work. Thanks again to the Chrysler Ram Service Department.

My sales person Bernard was personable and not pushy, super nice guy concerned only with helping me find my dream truck. George the sales manager was professional and at the same time much like talking to an old friend. The finance manager Gary was also professional and friendly. Service tech over the phone quoted me $9000 for a transmission repair, which Galeana performed for me at half of that price. Overpriced, likely due to being in Sumter.

The new GM Brandon Chaney is a horrible person! I’ll NEVER buy from here again! Plus I ordered a new Jeep from George in Jan and they didn’t tell me it came in and sold it to someone else! Had a routine oil change/ tire rotation/maintenance on my truck payable thru my truck warranty. Guys in the office helped me work through the headache of misinformation on an extended care contact. They were all very courteous and patient with me . I appreciate the extra effort to assist me in getting the information I needed. Took my vehicle in to the service department and after a bit of an issue, GM Brandon made sure to rectify the problem as soon as he was made aware of it and provided a loaner vehicle and a free oil change to compensate for time lost. I appreciated his willingness to resolve the situation to my satisfaction.Update: Had my oil change done today and was in and out in an hour. The staff was quick, professional and friendly!

I would like to Thank Mr Evan McFadden, for all ur help in trying to help me purchase a car! Im so sorry I didnt wait on u to service me in buying a new car. Mr James Austin was also helpful and I enjoyed talking to him but instead of listening to me telling him I was already approve for financing with Capital One the experience turn into a bad one as I hear him on the phone yelling about why I couldnt be financed. All he had to do was sell me a car and finance it through Capital One. The loan was already approved for 30,300. Several people called me apologizing for the rude behavior and bad customer service I was given and Im very Thankful for them too! Who ever was working with James Austin on my financing needs to be retrained in customer service because I could hear his bad attitude through the phone and Mr Austin told me he called Capital One and told them I work for a temp service in which I already told them I worked there for two years and sent them all my paperwork and statements. All they had to do is pull my reference approval number with Capital One and sell me a car. I heard so many great things about Sumter Chrysler that I knew this is where I wanted to buy me a car but unfortunately I had to take my business somewhere else. Toyota did everything that was supposed to be done and now I drive a 2021 Toyota Corolla with 4 miles on it and financed through Capital One. All they had to do was Listen! and provide great customer service. Again Thanks to all who tried to help and called me and apologized for the bad customer service and unprofessional behavior.

The Jeep Community is a big family and someone ordered a Jeep from you in Dec 2020 and when it comes in, you dont have the respect to call her and tell her. Then you sell it to someone else! My son was trying to be a first time buyer who makes great damn money and had a decent down payment and because my son didn’t wanna buy a brand new dodge he wanted a used Chevy this gentleman did not wanna even try and help him! But it’s ok because Mr. Clayton you might not have wanted the commission off the used vehicle but somebody else will appreciate it! You have lost our business for good that’s for sure!

They,wanted me to pay up front when i ask them what was the price on a Car so I ran out there fast as hell and told everyone that again.
I took my Jeep Wrangler in for a quick oil change and to have my ABS error codes cleared because I had just spent the entire previous day repairing them myself. Their rep looked me in the eyes and told me the codes could not be cleared because I used after market wheel sensors for the repairs. Long story short got a OBD2 reader capable of clearing ABS codes and the issue was gone... if I had fallen for that, it would have cost me over $1,000 + the repairs I had already completed.
LIES!!! Had to go to another shop to get work done that their auto techs said couldnt be done. Like adding an air sensor to my rim said spare rim wouldnt fit my tires and it would didnt install towing package correctly had to take it off and weld everything the right way asked for my bent rim to be changed and they changed out a good rim and left the bent one on took spare tired off my truck and put rim and tire in the back of my truck not putting it back together..ill be going some where else from now onCome to find out I was lied to about the rim being bent in the first place all 4 rims are in perfect working order but yet they tell me that I have a bent rim and they cam order me a new one from the factory...Why not be honest about it all
Hands down the best car-buying experience of my life. I typically feel like I am being manipulated at a dealership but George and Bernard were very straightforward about my options with trading in my truck and getting a new vehicle. Not only did they offer me $3000 more for my truck than JTs Chrysler Dodge Jeep in Columbia (who told me they were giving me the absolute max anyone could possibly give me) George also sold me the exact same vehicle I was trying to buy from JTs for $6000 less. SIX THOUSAND. And JTs was running a promo! And when I told George that the car they had on the lot was not the one I wanted (wrong color, too much chrome) he told me to come back the next morning and there was my new Jeep, exactly what I wanted, no hassle, no problems, no what if we cant find it? They manifested the whole thing. Long story short, this is the only car dealership where I havent been miserable the entire time and left totally happy. Definitely my go-to dealership from now on.

Applied online, salesman Brandon called talked to him and was told we have everything done come on up. Drove an hour away and text him the entire ride. Let us know when you get here I will have the truck pulled up. Arrive and Brandon is with anothe customers and these clowns Dont even have a Diesel truck. The lady that picked up on Brandons screw ups was super cool but when I tell you this place is full chaos its so unorganized I wouldnt buy a go kart from this spot.

Very disappointed.Sold that we got free oil changes for life and free tires! Great deal! Now that I need it on my 2019 Jeep Cherokee, “oh sorry your base model Jeep needs special oil” they won’t pay for that! My tire has a nail in it. “Oh we didn’t tell you? The free tire program ended in 2015” when the car was bought, we were told no spare no problem. We are taking care of all the maintenance on the car just call us. Not true not true not true! Thieves! Don’t buy from Sumter Jeep !

Sales Manager George Mitchell was an honest broker and gentleman. I was impressed with the entire Sumter CDJR team I interacted with. After visiting multiple dealerships in Sumter, Camden, Columbia, and Charlotte I came straight back to where I started my truck search and am 100% satisfied with the great deal and excellent customer service I received from the Sumter team. I would highly recommend them to anyone searching for a CDJR vehicle in this area!

I took my truck for an oil change today and by the time I came back home, the oil pressure light was on. I called and spoke with James, who advised that I should not drive the vehicle over the weekend and due to them closing, I will have to bring the truck in on Monday. I thought about it and I called back to speak with the GM Kevin who advised he have no control over the service department. I was informed that they closed at 5:30, but my call was made at 5pm! I will never make another purchase from this dealership as customer satisfaction isn’t a priority. I wasn’t offered a REFUND or a loner. Definitely bad business and poor customer service.
Ben made sure I was taken care of promptly and without additional cost when I had another tire issue today. I had just been in a couple of weeks ago and had several things done. They always treat me well when I go there for service.

Been here 15 minutes for a scheduled service; at least five employees have made eye contact with, none have smiled, and only one has even made an attempt to speak to me - I told him I was here for a scheduled service and he promptly told me to get back in my car and drive it into the service lane... Not a friendly person in the service department as of yet. Well see how the rest of the appointment goes*** UPDATERaised from one star to three stars. The lady who worked at the service desk in the back was awesome... if I were reviewing her alone, shed get five stars... but the experience as a whole was just OK... Was told the appointment would last about 1.5hrs, wasnt complete until almost 4hrs later... they did compensate me for my time by giving the oil change for free (still paid over $200 for a new key, $95 to program the key, and a few bucks for a tire rotation)... was happy to be compensated for my time (of course), but would have given 5 stars if the initial reception had been better... no smiles, no good mornings, no acknowledgement what so ever... even a Hey, welcome to _______, well be with you in a moment would have made the experience much better.
2nd time I’ve been for car maintenance. Decent service reviews (did my research before I took my 18 challenger in) Wait time was a litter over 4 hours for a oli change. (DO NOT RECOMMEND ON SATURDAYS) make an appointment to be out faster.

I had thought that I had water damage in my car so i brought it to the dealership only for them to find no damage but they kept my car for over 2 WEEKS! And charged me almost 400 dollars to remove the battery and alternator only to put the same battery and alternator back! Do not allow them to tell you what they think is wrong because theyll charge you for their errors. James in service department and his manager took advantage of me.

This has to be the most unbelievable service center there is. I called into the service center made an appointment 12 days ago for Monday at 8am I showed up today to drop off my jeep the service tech told me they could change the oil but would notBe Abel to check to see what was wrong with the jeep until next Friday or the week after. Say what why would I need the oil change and can’t drive it, then he said it would cost $105 to check it. I just left the worst service department. Rediculous

Overall the dealership was very welcoming and the employees were courteous. I felt like they were really trying to get us a reliable vehicle at a price that we could work with. James helped us through every step and not only explained the process to us, but wrote down important information that he wanted us to know and understand. James also offered his help on any questions that we may have in the future even after the sale and that means a lot to us.

The manager there is a nut case who is disrespectful. I inquired about a Boss 302. When I started the car, I had no idea that the car was in first gear. As soon as I released the clutch the vehicle almost went into incoming traffic. If you are going to have a mannual transmission vehicle of any kind on the lot the hand break should be engaged as well as the vehicle in neutral. The manager disagreed an gave off the vibe that I couldnt afford the car. Was it because Im black?
Since they handle my truck, I brought my old 2002 Subaru to them for an Air Conditioner service. I already knew my fuze, relay and compressor were fine, so I expected to only need a refrigerant service. I dropped the car off and a few hours later they called and said it was done. They didnt try to upsell me on anything, They serviced the refrigerant, and changed my oil, just as I had asked. These are my type of folks.UPDATE: I bought a Gladiator Mojave a few months ago from them. I was impressed that no one harassed me while I walked around. I had to ask to be shown the Jeep. The sales team, (bernard was my salesman, and George the Sales Manager, Took the sticker price and pretty much threw it out the window. We didnt need to haggle. I received right at the KBB value for my trade in, which admittedly was well cared for, and only touched by dealerships during the time I had it.I requested a TSB be performed on it, and a check engine light be remedied after a trip in the Mountains of West VA. They handled my maintenance request professionaly, provied a loaner, and offered a different vehicle should I need to do any towing. No stress, no arguing.The Service Manager is very polite, and obvisouly cared deeply about me being deprived of my Jeep while the parts come in.UPDATE 2: My wife had told me after I bought the Mojave that she wanted a new car this year. After spending close to 2 months looking at everything from a Buick, Mustang, Camaro etc, she decided she wanted a Challenger. A bright Orange Challenger (Oh Mango, is the color), with all the goodies. I got a loan on my own from my Bank, Did a test drive, and asked for a quote. The sales manager sent me an Out the Door price including about $5,500 of rebates, and said, this is what the car will cost, period. No haggle needed, I checked online and at other places, and his price, was a good price. I dropped the loan paperwork off, signed a few documents and took my wife home her new car. They are a pleasure to do business with. No bait and switch, not trying to get me to buy stuff I dont need. Heres the price, theres your car. Like I said on my first review, They are my type of dealership.
I went to this dealership to purchase my first vehicle. In the process of purchasing the vehicle the experience was great. Once they had their check from the bank for financing their customer service went right out the window. They were pushy. I felt like they didn’t care. When I tried to explain or asked for things to be done differently they ignored it or instead of doing it the right way, rigged it. 🤷🏼♀️
After an initial great experience buying a vehicle here, my husband and I decided to return less than a year later for an upgraded vehicle. Our requirements were somewhat specific, and although the dealer didnt have a vehicle that met all of our needs, the manager George located one and coordinated all efforts to get us into our new vehicle (including helping us overcome to obstacles to obtaining financing). When the vehicle arrived, George showed me personally how to use some of the upgraded features and insisted that we call if we have any questions or concerns about the vehicle. The price was fair, the service was exceptional, and we are pleased with our purchase and the overall experience.
Best deals around. Honest in the pricing unlike JTs Dodgeland in Columbia and Lexington who draw you in with false pricing and jacks them up on you. Check them out ask for George the sales manager hes the man.

Go to Tim’s Auto Pro for maintenance. His shop is clean, he’s professional, and prior military. He was able to diagnose my car on the spot and proceed with fixing it. He even showed me the issue so I wouldn’t think he’s trying to get over or make up an issue. No waiting in lines or leaving my car for an extended period of time. Also, is he must keep your car he’ll provide you with a loaner car or he’ll take you back to work or base himself.
Staff was helpful and courteous during the transaction. Salesman were patient and gave us the time to make our decision.
It was awesome, we went there just for window shopping and we ended with a Nissan Rogue 2017. We needed another vehicle for me. My husband and I were on my way to Lexington, and we just suddenly stopped there for a minute.We thank God we did, and for Ms Faith 😎, great young lady that assisted me, to find the right SUV for me.
