Ian is amazing with his customer service, follow up and just all around great person. He made my dads life so much easier today and our family could not be happier with all the service and hospitality.
Nice people. They do good dependable work
My wife and I had Kersey Mobility install hand controls that my wife needed to be able to continue to drive and maintain her independence. They did a remarkable job. Unfortunately, my wifes condition has forced her to no longer be able to drive, but she could still transfer from her wheel chair to the passenger seat of our Escape. That too is no longer possible to do safely so we immediately thought of Kersey for some type of resolution. That is when we were introduced to Ian Robbins. He showed us a number of options that would allow my wife to get into our vehicle safely. We also thought a wheelchair transport van might be the best solution going forward. Ian showed us what was available and the costs involved. At no time did we feel any pressure or obligation to purchase any of the suggested options. Once we processed the information and committed to buying a van, Ian was very helpful in suggesting the one that would be the best fit for our circumstances, budget and lifestyle. We brought our new van home today and are extremely satisfied. We highly recommend anyone considering a mobility vehicle to choose Kersey Mobility and specifically ask Ian Robbins to assist you. Also, their technicians are extremely skilled and do a very professional job with any up-fitting or modifications required to personalize the vehicle. They are very thorough in explaining and demonstrating how all the features work. They also encourage all their customers to contact them if any further assistance is necessary. Kersey has a great team and they really enjoy improving the lives of people with mobility challenges. As Ian would say Have a GREAT day mate
I cannot express how grateful I am for the way I have been looked after by 2 very specific people IAN ROBBINS & STEVE ROWEN at the Kersey Sumner location!!! Any issue small or difficult they have been there for me 10000%! This company could never be better represented or recommend by me if they were not there on the staff! After getting my van from Ian with constant communication with my needs and having any & everything fixed by Steve there are not enough words I can express to show my gratitude on how dramatically they have changed my life! Not just with my vehicle but with their service and constant dedication to my needs. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH IAN & STEVE FOR CONTINUING TO MAKE MY DRIVING DREAMS COME TRUE! 🙏😁🙌
Great place! Ian was awesome. Good products to look at.
My wife forced me to get hand controls on our vehicle. I fought her on it as I didnt believe I needed them. But we went to Kersey to see what they could do. They were terrific. Experienced folks (Ian, Steve, and the rest of the team) were fantastic. They were able to set me up with a hand control product that was outstanding. It was a high quality, easy to use, and attractive device. I couldnt be happier. Now my wife is happy with me as she is now willing to drive with me. The experience at Kersey Mobility was a joy and I should have done it sooner. Great company, excellent product....
The Ngigi Family would love to extend our gratitude to Kersey Mobility for the help they gave us through our van purchasing process. Special thanks to Ian Robbins. Mate you are the best and we are grateful for your assistance. You walked with us though this 4 month long process and even went to the extent of providing us with options we had no idea were available for us. We sure will be coming back for an upgraded van in the near future. Cheers for now mate. Thank you Kersey. We will be sure to recommend you out anyone that is in need of a mobility van.
Lift gate seems to have been repaired nicely. Repair time was less than a week. Waited maybe 10 minutes outside the office for the vehicle to be brought around when I came to pick up. Not horrible wait time.
I have been dealing with Kersey Mobility for 30+ years. Im on my third conversion van. This was my first time working with Ian Robbins. He is a pleasure to work with. He helped me find the financing I needed to get a van after I gave up trying. Both he and Steve were very helpful and I would not hesitate to do business with them again. Love my new van!
Great to have in the community!
Happy with the lift they installed, and very friendly staff.
The staff at Kersey Mobility were a pleasure to work with. They helped me navigate the VA requirements for the purchase of a wheelchair conversion van while I stayed in Alaska. They promptly responded to my emailed questions often with a phone call, they explained both the conversion process and the equipment options available and delivered a fantastic product! I would highly recommend Kersey Mobility to anyone looking to purchase an accessible vehicle.
We have rented a wheelchair van from them several times and they always make the experience enjoyable. We recently needed to rent one to drive my son to a summer program the school doesn’t provide transportation and they worked with us to find one last minute. I would recommend them to anyone who needs to purchase, rent or have a vehicle modified or repaired. I know when we are ready to purchase one we will be going to Kersey.Thank you for everything and making this process less stressful.
If I could give your Sumner location a lower score I would. The receptionist is an absolute joke. How rude can you possibly be? 4:30pm (close at 5) packing up your purse, not answering your phone, leaving customers on hold for 30 minutes. Anyone who has ever answered a phone can see someone flashing on hold. Then IGNORING MY NUMBER CALLING BACK MULTIPLE TIMES! Called from another number, one ring, answer. Unbelievable. Also, when youre mid conversation with a customer that has spent THOUSANDS of dollars with this joke of a company and you get disconnected you would think youd receive a call back. Nope. I had to call back for all that b.s. mentioned above. 🙄More. Left a message Friday to be called back Monday to discuss adjustments to my hand controls. Left name and number with the receptionist. No call backs. I had to call back today. Its Wednesday. Also, Never got the Well call you in a week to see how its going! 🐃💩Go to Redmond or go ANYWHERE else.
Ive purchased 2 conversion vans for our son over the years. We tried 3 different conversion van companies for servicing our 1st van. Thats how we found Kersey. They kept our 1st van in top working condition for many hard used years. Then we bought our new van at Kersey because of the good experience we had with them. Our new van conversion is terrific. Kersey knows their stuff. They do a quality job and charge reasonable prices. The sales people are low key and informative, the office staff is considerate and helpful. I might add that I find the waiting room chairs quite comfortable. The waiting area has good coffee and is very pleasant. I was there one hot day and was treated to popsicles by the staff. Nice people to do business with.
I never will do business with Kersey Mobility. After contacting them to transfer my hand controls to another vehicle and setting up an appointment, I come to find out they require a special evaluation that costs $200-300. This is on top the $1600 quote for the transfer. This evaluation is a part of their national certification. This evaluation is not a requirement by law and is 100% a scam to make people with disabilities pay more, just like any medical equipment. I have been driving for 22 years with hand controls and have never run into this issue. If your license has a Z restriction on it because you took the State test with them installed, I suggest you go to Absolute Mobility Center instead. They quoted me $1200 for the transfer - a whopping $400 bucks less AND they do not require anyone with a Z restriction to get an evaluation. I will be saving $700 dollars and they seem more competent to talk to as well. Kersey Mobility should be ashamed of their business practices.
They removed and reinstalled my existing hand controls... I was surprised that it didnt take very long to finish the job. I am so satisfied that I can go wherever I want to now and I dont have to worry 24/7 anymore... Thank you so much for my Freedom back...
Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Very friendly. They are very helpful.
I cannot say enough good things about Kersey Mobility and the people that work there! We wouldnt have the van/ramp worked on by anyone else! I have been a caregiver for 19 years, to a quadriplegic gentleman! I have been fortunate to work with Kersey Mobility on 3 different vans over the last 19 years. Mike, Steve, and the front office, are always amazing and they go out of their way to keep us in a WORKING ramp van! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND them to anyone with accessibility ramp needs!
Great customer service and the service department were friendly, fast and knowledgeable. Great experience.
I consigned my 2012 Toyota mobility van through the Kersey Redmond store. Quick and painless. Al Diego and Mike Jensen were great. They kept me in the loop as to what was going on, the van sold quickly, and I couldnt be happier with my experience. Great guys.
Great place if you ever need that type of work thats number one place to go.
Awesome people to work with. And theyre waiting room is awesome as well. Very professional!! They did an awesome job.
We rent a van weekly and Katlyn is so helpful. We have spoke with Dave about purchasing a van. He was so helpful and not pushy just wanted to help us find the perfect fit.
They dont rent wheelchair accessible vans to people in wheelchairs... let that sink in. They will not put hand controls or even a drivers transfer seat in a rental van. So if you are like so many, an active wheelchair users (ie Disabled) then you can not rent their van. You can have an able bodied person rent the van and they can drive you around, but if you are alone or travelling for work or leisure on your own, you are out of luck. To be fair, its not just Kersey, none of the wheelchair accessible van rental companies do this anymore. Yes, they use to but not any more I guess we are to risky. They will be happy to take your money when you buy a van and very happy to install hand controls and transfer seats but you have to buy the van not rent it.
Terriffic service, very flexible with my appointment, always willing to consult briefly over the phone. I trully appreciate the TLC they give our Van. Nick is superb!
Kersey fixes my wheelchair ramp. They do a great job and they stand behind their work. They care about their customers and it shows. I drive all the way from Woodinville (where their competition is) to Sumner because of their honesty and care. I highly recommend them, even if it means driving a lot further.
Things dont always go right in all aspects of life. In my case, the Kersey team confronted an initial misunderstanding with professional courtesy. They turned a stressful encounter into an opportunity for service. In the process I learned to value and appreciate the folks out front as well as the service department. These are honest people. Considering how difficult it is to get service for conversion vans Kersey is proving themselves to be an asset to the Puget Sound region.
My parents and I purchased a 2012 VW Routan Van from Kersey in Spokane Washington last year. My parents and I are very happy with the van. We had an issue with one of the ratchet restraints which Kersey happily replaced within the warranty period. People were helpful and happy. Office was clean. They had several makes and models of conversion vans available for us to look at when we first went there to ask about purchasing one. Personnel answered courteously. If we had to leave a message, a rep would call back within 24 hours. I recommend Kersey to anyone looking for a conversion van
I purchased a VMI Wheelchair lift from Kersey Mobility about ten years ago. The lift which attaches to the back of my Volvo has worked well for this period of time. In July 2015 the lift stopped working. I contacted Kersey for an appointment. They had an event happening in early August 2015, so they did not give me an appointment until August 20, 2015. This was five weeks before any repairs could be done. Following the repairs, I did not use the lift until August 28, 2015. They could not give me an appointment for two weeks later. I explained to them that I needed the lift to move my wife’s wheelchair from home to school the next Monday. The receptionist would not accommodate a sooner appointment. I contacted them today, September 8, 2015, to find out that I was not on their schedule for a repairs. This is by far the worst customer service that I have ever experienced. They obviously do not have enough staff to assist their customers in a timely manner and they do not care when a customer has a problem. I am very disappointed with this company and do not intend to ever use them again.
Took a friends car in to have the hand controls removed....they would keep the parts. We were promised 1 hour. Upon our return they said it would take another hour...the car had not been touched. Why make an appt. if it is not honored. We have busy schedules so we left and will pick up the car at a later day. Poor PR
Theyre very pleasant to work with, their weekend rates are hard to beat considering the quality of their rentals.
Great place to find mobility products.
It’s disappointing to see someone review any company with a 1 rating and then give vague information to the reason. I believe a 1 one rating is meaningless unless you have a hidden agenda. Think about it, as a new business, hundreds of thousands of dollars are spent to open the doors. To get a positive return on the investment providing a “customer #1” approach to every person who walks through the door is the only thing management is focused on. I don’t think the any owner or manager would accept anything less from anyone working there? So I wonder what the real reason for such a low rating is.I believe the Redmond store is a breath of fresh air in a corrosive environment. I’m a combat wounded disabled veteran and I encourage all my brothers in arms to shop Kersey Mobility in Redmond and Sumner. I bought my van from Kersey because their pricing was fair and their commitment to a long term relationship is outstanding.
As an injured person still recovering from major surgery, I would hope, and strongly advise, that no one use Kersey Mobility to have any work done to their vehicle for the following reasons:1: Kersey Mobility is literally in the middle of nowhere in Sumner. There is no bus line, no taxi, no courtesy shuttle, no alternate transportation of any kind at that location. So unless an injured person can beg, borrow, or steal a ride from a friend they will be trapped at Kersey until the work is complete.2:The furniture at Kersey Mobility is obviously not designed for handicap nor injured people. It had to be the most uncomfortable furniture I have ever had to sit in. This surprises me due to the fact they specialize in handicap mobility!3:The work I had done, every shop I talked to said it would take 2 - 3 hours to install. Kersey did not tell me how long until after XXX awarded them the contract. When I was contacted to schedule having the work done they didnt tell me. Not until I showed up the day of, was I told 6 hours for the install which took them in reality 6 1/2 hours. That is a long time to be stuck in a waiting room with torture device furniture. All said an done we were there 7 hours.4:When the driving instructor checked in with them at noon they told him and told me that the vehicle would be ready at 2:30 pm. The instructor arrived at 2:25 pm and we were all then informed that it would not be ready until 3:00 pm. The instructor then left and we called him to come back at 3:00 pm. He had gone to get gas in his car but did not seem to happy about the delay.Because of this experience, my pain level this evening is at an 8 of 10. Just because a business gives you a cheaper quote, does not mean they are better. Case and point, the space shuttle that blew up was built by the lowest bidder.
Ive read the two other reviews about Kersey and while I agree that the time it takes to install hand controls (more than 6 hours) is ridiculous compared to other places, they have been more than accommodating in every other way. I drove an hour from Issaquah to get here and am stuck in the waiting room while they complete the work, but they offered to buy my lunch from anywhere and bring it back for me. Everyone here is very friendly, and Im also saving $500 by having work done here rather than by the robbers from Absolute Mobility in Woodinville, who are more interested in the money they make than the work they do. Id definitely use Kersey again.
Their prices for 20 yr old wheelchairs van is ridiculous, you think cause your customers are disabled they have tons of money. No one can afford your prices.
My husband and I are both disabled and hes getting hand controls in his FJ Cruiser. They told us to be there at 8:30 am and that the install was going to take 6 hours. We get there and they are not near anything within walking distance for us and no shuttle service or any rides to anything. We were expected to just wait in the waiting area the whole time! We did find a good little cafe/restaurant. 2 miles from there so we walked there and got breakfast. We had to drive an hour to get there so just catching a ride wasnt an option and this is where L&I made us go.The hand control driving instructor got there and was FURIOUS because other places only take 2 hours to install these controls! Were in pain and got very little sleep because we had to get up so early in the morning to be there!Im writing reviews everywhere that I can because this place is HORRIBLE!
Its okay very nice very clean
Incredible customer service!
They said it would take 2 hrs to install our EZ lock system. When we got there they said 5-6! They showed us menus of restaurants in the area and said if we called it in theyd pick up. My mother did and told the front desk the restaurant said itd be ready in 15mins. 25 mins later we asked if it was on the way, and they said, Oh, we thought they deliver! Um, its your lunch system, dont you know? There are only 4 restaurants. So my mothers meal was cold when it got there. But the worst part was: THEY STOLE OUR LICENSE PLATE HOLDER! I know it was them because they replaced it with a Kersey Mobility holder. They never asked if they could advertise on our car, and never asked we were attached to our own dealers holder (we were). So, they delayed us more to be control freaks. We went a time before and were going to buy a car and driving system, until we learned that their estimate was $50,000 off! And not in the good way. So theyve now blown their second chance.
Great people.
This dealer specializes in handicap vans with lifts. They have new and used vans and also service them.
Nice folks
Great customer service!
