Amburgey Carpet Care and owner Mark Amburgey have been cleaning my carpets at my business and my home for 20 years, and I just want to say that he is the absolute best! I just read a review stating that the persons house smelled like wet dog after the cleaning was finished, I want to say that I have dogs and my home has never smelled like dogs after Mark cleaned the carpets, of course my home does not smell like dogs any time, I am a clean person no doggy smells. My carpets are always dry within 6-8 hours and my home does not stink even when the carpets are wet. I have had other people clean my carpets and have never had anyone do the job as well as Amburgey Carpet Care.

My dog decided that our stairs were a great place for her to get...you know...sick. We feed her fish based food, and the smell was unbearable. I tried everything to get the smell out...oxy clean, carpet cleaner, baking soda, nothing would work. It was awful. I was starting to think that we were going to have to rip our carpets out. Amburgy Carpet Care had great reviews, but I was skeptical that he was going to be able to get the smell out the first go around. Yes, it was THAT bad.As soon as he started cleaning the stairs, the whole house filled with the scent of baby power. It was glorious, and so refreshing after smelling fish for 2 days lol He scrubbed all my stairs by hand, and even cleaned my area rug in my formal living room for free!! He told me that if in a couple days he needs to come back to retreat the area he would. It wasnt necessary. The smell was gone minutes after he worked his magic. The stairs still smell super fresh. Unreal service, and amazing products! I Would definitely recommend and will definitely be calling in the future!!

Had Amburgey Carpet Care come out Tuesday at 1. Had him do my Living room, dining room, stairs, upstairs hallway, and couches. The guy was done at 3:30. Said to turn the heaters on and fans and your carpet should be dry in 8 hours. I got home from work at 6 that day and the house smelled like wet dog mixed with detergent. Called them up and said that the cleaning agents can reactivate the smell but it should be gone in a few days. Next morning, still wet. 2 days later my couches stink worse than before and so does the carpet. My dining room table wasnt moved and neither was an end table in the living room. So Friday afternoon, I call back and spoke with Mark and I tell him of these issues and that Id just like my money back. He did offer to come out and fix the problems. But my position was that I have a baby shower on Sunday and I cant have this smell around if the enzymes reactivate the smell. He says it wont. But to me the entire job needs to be redone, but why would I go with the same company, when it didnt get done right the first time. I again, asked for my money back. He then accused me of just trying to get a free carpet cleaning. I was appalled, never has a company accused me of trying to get a free service. Mark was saying that Im just calling crying on the phone and not letting him fix it. This guy said hes been doing this for 20 years. Well I dont know why I was the lucky one to have my house smell like a dog farm. He then went on to say they that he didnt make the house smell, and I was like duh, it was from my dogs, but I paid $250 for the smell to go away. He then said that they dont guarantee the pet odors will be gone after they go in there. Then why, again, would I have this company come back to redo my house? Since he says they dont give money back, I will have to just take his offer to spray enzymes on Saturday, with the hope that my guests dont smell everything like I do. I, at 9 months pregnant, will have to go behind this professional company to try to remedy the smell in the carpets with baking soda until after Sunday. I honestly wish I had gone with another company, but I wont be able to do that for a while since this mess cost me so much.
