I went to my session today thinking I really didnt need to be seen. However, I walk out my session feeling like I closed a chapter in my life and began a new. Thus far, 2021 has been very challenging for me as it has been for many others. However, when I was ask by Mrs.Amy When did you give (name) permission to treat you that way I was able to acknowledge the part I played,,, that caused this year challenges to be soo challenging! Thank you, Amy Mitchell-Washington! The positive vibes began from the first phone call. She had a welcoming greeting, positive word choice, and truly made me feel like I was making the right decision. This is my first time speaking with a therapist, however, she made it very easy. My first appointment today was delightful, impactful, and overdue. I was greeted at the door with a warm smile, then welcomed into a space that was relaxing, and felt safe. After she told me to make myself comfortable, she allowed me to start the conversation. There weren’t any scripts or checklists. I felt no judgment, no embarrassment, no belittling, and nothing negative. Leaving my appointment I knew that this is my time to start this journey, of healing, and Amy is the perfect person to guide me along the way. As a first timer, I can truly say that Mrs.Amy Therapy is exactly the Self-care that I have been missing and needed. The environment that she has created is warm and cozy and always smells really nice. She’s big on being on time.The professionalism that she shows from start to finish was far beyond my expectations. I honestly don’t know how she creates the magic but I am a better person because of her services and I look forward each and every visit. She really does rock!

I love this counselor, Amy Mitchell Washington. I had no idea what to expect but after I left my first visit, I knew I should have came to her sooner. She has a great demeanor and a grass roots understanding that gives you the feeling that a great aunt or best friend is listening. She has a unique way of making you see the perspective that is best for your mental health. She guides you through dark spaces that you wanna forget but helps you to shine bright again. Yes there are people in our lives we can tell anything to but Amy helps you understand why that anything exists. If you are looking for a caring, professional counselor she hits the mark.
