Called to see if they had something in stock. Got put on hold for ten minutes then she picked the phone up and hung up. Called back and told them what happened and she had an attitude with me on the phone. Was short and quick with responses and could tell she couldn’t care less about what just happened. I live 30 min away and didn’t wanna waste an hours worth of gas :(

This store has a nice selection, but the prices are a little higher than local stores with similar or exact merchandise. They do put things on clearance though and that can be a good time to stock up...but if your throwing a specific themed party thats not usually too helpful. Last few times I went in I was the only customer... Hope they dont end up closing... Competitive pricing would help a lot!

Party City in Summerville is a great place to get all of your party and balloon needs taken care in one place. The staff here is wonderful in making all of your celebration visions come true. I have fun every time I come here as there is plenty of cool things to play with and try on. This Party City is cool.

It was very hard for me to go in this store to buy birthday balloons because it was for my mothers birthday who just recently passed away. When the staff knew, they were extremely compassionate and really helped me pick out the perfect balloons. They work immediately on it. I would highly recommend.

I was able to get my products a little longer because only one person was at the counter for a few minutes.

Helpful and friendly staff. Went in looking for decorations for an adoption celebration. Heads up, there arent any for people just pets. However, the staff did their best to help me improvise.

I visited the Summerville location for a friend of mine that needed some last minute mini balloons for her Easter order of custom made gifts and baskets. Her order was very specific and even I was a lil overwhelmed by the list and its varying character requirements to finish off her very specific custom made gift baskets. There was something like 15-17 mini balloons. The ladies that helped me which I feel sure consisted of the one manager (very awesome and helpful women that was familiar with her store as she should be but most employees of most stores are not in the knowing to say it kindly) and two younger ladies that i feel sure the manager was training based on her willingness and prompt organizational skills she very swiftly was finding my order in a box of many other characters blowing up theses balloons, sealing them shut and putting them on there sticks all while incorporating bout of the young two while teaching them how to do the very same thing so they could do it on there own the next time this type of order was in front of them....it moved as if she had it written and rehearsed it for some type of onboarding video they would be using to train new hire management personnel on proper customer service while training and running a store... The lady should actually be considered by your cooperate office as the one in charge of doing this job of efficient proper training techniques. It was really that good I had to walk away cause i felt lil weird staring in amazement which could and probably be considered creepy.. I didnt get her name and i am really sorry about not doing this .. she deserve recognition on this from me just as I have dine here and far more from her employer Thanks Ladies

I just “love” it when I walk in your store to pick up my balloon order and meet eyes with 4 different employees at your checkout and not ONE person says, “How can I help you?” I literally had to ask them, “Who do I speak to? I’ve looked at all 4 of you and no one has made contact with me”. I don’t quite understand that what so ever. Takes TWO seconds to greet or ask a customer what they need. Y’all need to work on your employees customer interactions/service.

I was very disappointed in that it being Halloween season there was absolutely NOBODY around to help get costumes or anything. We had to go around the ENTIRE store before finding ONE person. For a business that specializes in this time of year, it was very poor service and I will not return. The person who did finally help was very respectful and helpful and wish I knew his name to give him a thumbs up. Hes the only reason I gave 2 stars otherwise it would have been o if possible with review or one. Get better.

Always like Party City. Especially when youre trying to do a baby shower they have all my colors. Whether its individual colors, or rainbow colors. I even used plain M&Ms to get my rainbow colors, I did not have the purple M&M. And they were able to help me out. Also needed a pastel blue. Again they were able to help me out. Definitely go back

Me personally, I love going to Party City, especially when it’s Super Bowl time! They have almost everything you’ll need for a great Super Bowl watch party, minus the food. I also like going to Party City around Halloween time, they have some cool stuff for that time of the year, and they have some really good prices too!

This store is always clean. The cashiers are bet helpful. We recently needed to return some items. The refund process was easy and pleasant. Will definitely return for my event needs. 😁

The sale we walked into was great! The store is also a great mini play date with me an my daughter. Playing with boas and crowns is so fun.

Good variety of items. Dont go here on a holiday. They are Slammed! But if you can get in early before, leading up to the holiday, they have a really good selection. Store set up is nice on an average day, but aisles are noticeably narrow when dealing with Halloween Rush!

Its two days before Halloween and Im in Georgia ordering for someone in South Carolina I called North Charleston location and they was rude! Party City will not allow you to order online for in store pick up until after Halloween. So Nicole was a blessing she found the costume and rung me up and I was able to have someone in South Carolina pick them up! Thanks Nicole you rock!

Its a garbage fire in there. Rotten merch, messy, no real organization and everything is really dusty and lots of faded stuff.

Nice variety of party supplies. Around Halloween they typically have a large costume collection. Other times of the year, its a bit more limited. Staff has never been very helpful or welcoming anytime Ive been in. Store is usually pretty messy. But as far as stock goes, they have a nice selection.

No one at the balloon counter could sell us the Halloween balloons we saw because they didnt know where they came from.. Not even the manager could explain how the balloons right behind them had gotten to the store, so they could not sell them to us. Serious lack of communication going on in general.

Lady behind counter who seemed to be in charge greeted me as I walked in helped me with my inflatable shark. She was kind and very friendly and went above and beyond to help me. She was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I was happy when I left.

A lot of really good options for partys and the price isnt crazy high. I got my Halloween costume from here and it had everything I needed. Very convenient.

She even recommended what colors to add in with the bouquet that looked really good! I live in north Charleston but always travel to this location when its birthday party time for my kids and for Halloween!

All they had to do was call. I ordered balloons online, paid for them and then when I get to the store they did not have the colors that I wanted and they had run out of helium. And so I left the store without the balloons I needed. Theyre getting two stars because they gave the three balloons they did have to me for free and refunded me. However a phone call would have saved a whole lot of hassle.

Went in for balloons and left very satisfied. The employee helped me match up colors and it was a quick process. I use this place very seldom, but when I do it is always a painless experience.

Came here of course to get party supplies for my daughters first birthday. They didnt have much for selection and the shelves were half empty. The restrooms were horrid. Ive never seen a store in such bad shape. There was even trash all through the store floors, latters in the middle of isles not blocked off and completely unattended. Will not come back to this store.

Online said they had 12 of the item i wanted in store..after looking at the almost empty shelves (grad supplies) when i asked the clerk she said its probably in a box in the back she couldnt help me..now ill have to order it online and pay shipping..dont go looking for grad supplies because the entire isle is basically empty and obliviously since there is only 2 people working they cant run the register and unpack inventory..disappointing

It has everything u need . Perfect place. Staff need training . Dont ask questions they dont want to answer. Please hire some young staff with a better attitude. Or train them on customer service.

Had my husbands 60th birthday balloons done here, was not impressed that they charged me for a special bag to put the balloons in. Think it was 4/5 dollars itwas just one of there dame bags. And tho I brought the balloons there they also charged me to fill them

I called yesterday to place a balloon order for pick up today 930a. I paid for my order over the phone. When I arrived today 10a, my order was NOT EVEN STARTED. One employee was doing balloons and said well get to it as soon as possible didnt ask for help or anything. It took the cashier to call for someone to help. It appeared that the balloons she was doing was not from an order but a walk in. So, why did I waste my time calling ahead if no one was going to make sure the order was ready. I asked for the manager, no one came. After waiting 20min that I didnt plan on I left wheny balloons were finally done. Hince, I had a party to get to! Immediately called the store to still try and speak with the manager to only be disconnected one time. Called back and placed on hold FOREVER and still havent spoken to a manager. The staff definitely needs more training. One girl was cussing behind the counter. And, the other two didnt seem one bit phased that they werent providing good customer service. I will do my BEST to find another location before coming back to this one.

My suggestion to you is to shop where the store manager is competent and where the employees are trained and knowledgeable. This is not the place. Nicole, the store manager, was rude and arrogant when dealing with my problem at their store. When told the review would not be good, she was content with that, for she made no attempt to remedy my situation. I suggest that you shop anywhere but this store.

My son loves to pick out his Halloween costume from here. They always have the size we are looking for too.

I went in there to get a My Little Pony balloon for my daughters birthday and the lady at the counter was incompetent at best. It took her about 5 minutes of fumbling around with the balloon to finish and at one point I saw her get a piece of tape and put it on the balloon somewhere. About 10 min later when I got to the restaurant to give it to my daughter the balloon flew off the string because, of course, it was freaking taped on there instead of properly attached. I went back to the store right away because at this point my 4 yr old daughter is in tears. When I get back the same cashier tried to say she didnt tape it on there but rather used the tabby thing (her words). She must have said tabby thing about 10 times before one of the other employee came over and told her she did it wrong. Her response was, that was the way they showed me. I got the second balloon without an apology at all from her. Its obvious this place has a serious training and customer service issue. But Im sure they have no motivation to correct it because, after all, where else are you going to go for a last minute balloon.

Staff was rude when me and my sister asked for a certain costume, told us they didnt have it, we talked to a manager, and they had it in the back the whole time. The manager, however, was very nice and even gave us a discount for the trouble

Only reason I’m not giving them 1 star is because there was only one person in the front handling phones, trying to do ballon orders and check people out. It was after the 5th or 6th time of her calling for help that someone came to help. I had to show the other girl how to put confetti inside of a ballon and when I called for a ballon pickup I still had to wait when I got there because “my order wasn’t able to be found”.

Horrible experience! Never come back! Party City in Summerville, SC! I stoped by with my 3 year old to get him ONE ballon for his birthday! There were one lady and guy doing ballons! I understand they had probably big order! But i asked to sell me one ballon! Lady was incredible rude! She said to wait ONE HOUR! So asked if i have to wait ONE HOUR in order to get ONE BALLON ?? They said YES ( and trust me that was not polite at all!!!) we left the store complitly dissapointed! Thank u party city for ruin my sons special day!!!!!!!!!

I bought an iron man Ballon for my sons 3rd bday. Didnt even get to see it because the tape holding the head on, was so flimsy. Got knocked it off before he could see it. I called the store, the only way to replace it is to buy a whole new one. So much for standing behind your products! What a waste. Dont waste your time or money its not worth it.
