Few employees need a little more spunk like the older fellow but overall nice experience

June 13 Ive took my Mazda CX-9 to have wash at the Summerville SC location and had the full service ceramics wash, at the end or the dry cycle the large spinning roller at the end got tangle on my rear wiper blade and pull it from the rear window and had the manager write a claim report and he try to fix the wiper to the normal position, and i notice as time went alone the rear lose and vibrate in the wind and did not perform well when in use, I.ve decided to take the car to the dealership to inspect the wiper and Stokes Mazda service manger told me that the wiper needs to be replace because the wiper arm was damages. I need understand the next process to be reimburse for the damage to my rear wiper that was filed with Tidal Wave Auto Spa in Summerville SC, Awaiting your Response. MG

I’ve definitely gone downhill since they opened. Just went through and I didn’t even clean my windshield before I got into the wash. Used to be a big deal and scrubbing out the front back windshield. I got half of the front and none of the back. Very disappointing for the money.They’ve got some new staff that obviously doesn’t care.

Staff is very polite. This is a busy place and they keep things moving. Car came out very clean. They even took the time to remove my radio antennae and pressure wash some mud off of the truck. Great quality service. Met manager named Kelly. He was professional and asked if I was pleased with the wash. I had a great customer experience.

After being in the car wash industry myself for years, I have come to the conclusion that this is the best car wash we have in summerville.

Sat there for an hour and a half to get my daughters car detailed. It probably would have been quicker if the employees would get off their phones and do the job they are supposed to do

Looked shinny and new from afar, but lack of attention to detail. Sixteen year old son took it in, so he was impressed with the shinny dash, shiny wheels, shinny leather and coconut smells, I was not there for the pick up. Will not type much, will let the photos speak for themselves. With 2 sheets of paper towel and some Windex, the major grime is gone. Not impressed with their superior interior clean.Edit: For some reason, review is only showing the images of after I cleaned. Attached are the before photographs. Again, all it took me was 2 minutes with 2 sheets of paper-towel and some Windex.

3rd row and trunk area were not vacuumed . Return to have done. Asked to speak to management, no one came. Will not be back. Too many car choices out there for poor service! How you were voted best in Summerville is sad!

Full service interior cleaning was good until last visit. Maybe it was too hot but windows not cleaned properly.

I came here expecting a mediocre car wash like the rest, but the team here rocks and really helped me get me car clean! Thanks to Matthew and Kelly for the exceptional service when my car was as filthy as it was! 10/10 would recommend to any and all of my friends!

I used their facility, on Saturday August 21st. I normally do the dry and vacuuming myself. But my husband paid for them to do it. I recently just discovered that I have items missing from my vehicle.

Horrible experience. Many employees were rude and not working. Two ladies sat in my car talking and not actually cleaning the interior, one actually left pink hair behind. A man was rude and made it clear he didn’t like his job and was acting irritated I pulled into his stall for service. The wash machine was ok but left the back dirty, the interior and outside detail served by employees showed that no effort was given. I would suggest you spend your money at another business.

They do a great job getting my car clean in and out. And being able to get the pollen off my car everyday is a definite plus!!

Isn’t maintained as it should be, which leads to a car wash experience that doesn’t clean as well as its other locations (Moncks Corner, Beaufort). I drive to Moncks Corner 35 mins from my house because the overall customer service and experience there is better, and I live 5 mins from the Summerville location!

You can go to any car wash and get your car cleaned, but you should go to an auto spa, like Tidal Wave in Summerville, if you want to REALLY clean your car. The staff was great and very professional. I’d like to thank Kelly for selling me on the membership. I routinely trash my car so the membership will definitely come in handy. Like Arnold Schwarzenegger, I will be back!

Spent $20 on the “nicest” exterior package and there is still dirt all over my car and wheels. Such a waste of money.

The guy who did the interior cleaning was rude and just wanted me out of there. Left cup holders and obvious places dirty, didnt want to wipe down the exterior and told me it was done and then left my seat up and a bottle of spray hung in my door. Id like a refund and Ill take my business elsewhere.

Just because you go buy some place doesnt mean you visited it or went inside. These reviews mean nothing. And many of them are done by a robot because they were just a standard review. Wasting a lot of time here

Staff has lost enthusiasm, make you feel like they are doing you a favor for what you pay for, been coming here since they opened, everything has declined except the monthly fees. Would love to see some good management step in and turn it around.

Im Team Tidal Wave! Very reasonable prices. Top quality equipment and great customer service. I live in Sumter, I was in Summerville (45 minutes away). I went to this Tidal Wave and was equally pleased with the prompt efficient service.

Pretty impressive operation. Wish it was touch free as I always worry about dirty brushes and the possibility of scratches but the car came out super clean. Free window cleaner and towels are available and free vacuums. They even have a floor mat machine that cleans your mats for free.

I have a membership there I pay 39.00 a month and pay 15:00 dollars extra cleaning in side and hand dry they stop armorall the inside vehicle

I had the truck in rough shape after helping with Hurricane Florence relief. The inside smelled terrible from the sewage waste 6in Conway. Took it here and its shining again inside and out and smells better than new. Ty, guys!

Brought my Daughters filthy, disgusting dirty SUV in to be washed. Staff went above and beyond to clean it, even ran it thru twice and powerwashed to get the scum off. Came out looking new, great job and service.

A summary of my last 3 visits: Visit #1 - The buff & shine was not working. Getting wax on the car was the primary reason for my visit. Payed $15 for a lesser wash I could have done in my driveway for free. Visit #2 - Half of the vacuums werent working. Had to wait in line. Visit #3 - Decided to give them one more chance this morning at 9:30. Cones blocking the entrance with a Closed for Maintenance sign in place. OK, I can take a hint. This car wash really doesnt want my business.

The manager at this location is RUDE and unprofessional. When I cancelled my membership the nice lady that I spoke to told me I have until a certain date (which was at the end of the month) to continue using the membership until it is actually cancelled. She gave me a receipt and wrote on there the date. I went to have my car washed before the date written and it wouldnt work. When the manager came out to see what was going on I explained what the lady told me and what she wrote down on my receipt. After the manager went inside to look at the issue he came back out and told me in a VERY rude tone since you cancelled your membership you only had until your next billing date which was 5 days ago so you can go ahead and BACK UP. I work with people every day so I was dumbfounded when he was so rude and unapologetic for THEIR mistake!!!! The employees were very nice but the manager was AWFUL and should NOT be working with people with how unprofessional he is!

I want to give them five stars but I just cant. The staff is wonderful and is always eager to help. The car wash itself provides a wonderful level of clean. The vacuum area is always clean and operating properly. If a vacuum is not working, simply notify an employee and they fix it right then and there.I had a wash package and found it to be priced well and was worth every penny.The reason I gave them three stars is that for some reason the car wash broke my back wiper blade and harness/holder three separate times. This was even with the bagging and taping of the wiper. This was the reason I ultimately cancelled my membership since it was beginning to cost me more in repairs. I believe this happened due to the strength of the equipment and the unique shape of my car.

Expensive. $25. But pretty good jobcleaning except for the grill which was very buggy. There are lower priced packages. 10$ just to get tires washed.

So I have the monthly membership and I thought I struck gold when the spa first arrived. However, in the last two years there are constant problems. Broken equipment....And while my monthly payment remained the same, the same quality service for a return on my investment did not. Now the latest issue is that when I go through the spa, one of the machines scratches my paint every single time. Im cancelling my membership. Take a good look at your car each time. The owner refuses to keep ALL parts of the car spa up and running in good condition at All times. Our stopped inside and the mechanism sounded like it was going to blow up.

Its a great wash. Hard to give a drive thru wash 5 stars. But everything worked as it should and the car was clean. People that are giving 1 star cause the detail wasnt perfect, should take it to a detail shop if thats what they want.

Excellent service and friendly staff. $40 to have our car washed and to have the interior deep cleaned. Since we have a German Shepherd our interior was COVERED in dog fur. After about an hour they had it spotless. My wife and I were very impressed.

They service is horrible. I use to come here all of the time. When I went to get my car detailed it reminded me why I stop coming here. Maybe its because of the group of people they had working. Nothing was clean right and I didnt have time to turn around to get it detailed right. They only took 5 mins to clean the car. I would never go back there. Waste of 50 dollars. And they clean the insides with dirty rags and put no shine on the interior which I paid for.

Fast and easy service but the clean was poor quality - lots of missed grime. I’m willing to pay more for a good clean but this was just subpar.

Be aware!! The brush that they use to prep your vehicle, prior to entering the wash, has left scratches and swirls on my vehicle! I have a fairly new car and this is the only car wash that Ive used since I purchased it! Request them to only use the brush on your windows!

I love taking my truck here weekly and getting it taken care of with my membership. I actually enjoy getting out and detailing my own truck. The staff is always very helpful and friendly.

Im a monthly member and have been for a year now, Ive read the other reviews and laughed at most of them!! SURPRISE PEOPLE!! This carwash is not going to turn a Honda into a Lamborghini!! Its great for what it is, a quick clean and go. They will happily do the interior, and wheels and if there is a long wait or the (free mind you) vacuums are taken... THERES PROBABLY A REASON!!! You came at a busy time!!! The longest Ive been there waiting for a wash was 15 minutes and I knew going into it that it was going to be long!! I have never had a bad experience there and have been told that I actually needed to come in more so they could keep my wheels looking good!! (Not exactly the lack of customer service that the reviews let on to...) I will continue my monthly membership and know the service will be fine!

This place can get busy in the weekends so, I’d suggest going during the week when you can. The car wash works pretty well and the staff is friendly. I like that the vacuums are free to use after purchasing the wash. They also provide towels with which to dry one’s car and that is nice. I haven’t used their interior cleaning so, I don’t know how well of a job they do on interiors.

Tidal wave is a great car wash, it revives they wax and color on your car, the interior side does a great job cleaning but don’t be fooled it’s only a cleaning service not a detail service but still a 10/10 place

Tidal Wave in Summerville has wonderful customer service, and the staff was so eager to please and very helpful in answering all my questions. My car looked awesome both inside and out, so glad I decided to try them out. Will definately be back!

So this afternoon I went to the car wash. I pay monthly for it. Recently downgraded from their most expensive plan. Had to speak with manager to downgrade as they did a very poor job. Today they started directing cars into the lanes. I thought great, efficiency. Yet here I am in the middle lane for fifteen minutes and it hasnt moved. Someone in line had to inform one of the several employees the middle lane wasnt moving as they didnt even notice! Im beyond annoyed with this place and probably canceling. This place is a disaster!

Ive been a customer for the last few years and CHRIS is hands down one of the hardest workers Tidal Wave has!! He has GREAT attention to detail and I never have to check my car when he cleans it. Give that kid a raise!

I love coming to this car wash they always did so well when they did detail in my car but my last experience happened when I went there probably a few weeks ago and had my car detailed and but my last experience happened when I went there probably a few weeks ago and had my car detailed and I had some stuff personal stuff left in my car and this one teenage boy got to where he was assigned to my car and hes threw all my personal stuff away and I was not expecting that I did that last time before this past experience i did that last time before this past experience in none of my personal stuff was thrown away they was simply put on the seats and I was expecting that same thing to happen but nope my sons toys my sons socks hair bows for my hair and mail the head left in my car was all thrown away without it being put onto my seat for me to determine it feels to throw away or not and I tried contacting the car wash but I never got through to anybody so this is my 3 * I would give it a five-star but my last experience was not all that good

One of the best car washes in summerville. Priced well. They have a membership plan that offers unlimited washes for just about $10 more than your first car wash. Need more locations maybe on in West Ashley. They also have free vacuum area after your wash and includes blue wash clothes and window cleaner to clean the inside of your car/windows. Very well built. Clean. Would recommend getting a membership if you visit or live in summerville. Save good bit of money doing the membership even if you only wash your car once a week.

I went to have my car washed yesterday to get ready for a trip. It was my first time at this car wash and had no idea what to do when I pulled up to the machine. So thinking I have chosen a wash and interior clean, I was shocked I just charged $59.99 but thought well maybe it will be worth it.I get back in my car a little over an hour later. It looks good but I’m in a hurry because I’m late from lunch. Get to the office and the outside looks good and the front and rear seat areas look clean. I finish the work day and realize as I’m driving home the rear window had the same dirt as was there before the $60 wash. I open the lift gate and nothing was vacuumed or even wiped down.So this business gets 1 star! $60 and get home to have to finish a job that this company left incomplete. It was horrible!

Equipment is always broken and the location isnt good for the volume. Its hard to get in most of the time.

Washed my Mini Cooper their and my drivers side front wheel received a deep scratch (wheel was new), the manager their insisted it didnt happen in the wash, but while going through my car jerked around that same area. Customer satisfaction is awful. I got the sense that his manage gives him strict instructions not to admit any thing. I will tell as least 10 people about my experience their, and they will tell 10 people adding up 100 quickly. By the way most of the time there is something not working, break downs are often.

I went through the carwash and the machine that shines the wheels put a scratch in my front bumper and the person tried telling me that I hit a curb which how would he even know that! The person also said that new machines had been put in through the carwash and that it’s not possible for the carwash to cause damage to people’s vehicles especially on the side that it had happened on my vehicle!

Pretty pricey, got the all inclusive with the superior interior clean. Not as clean. Still grass marks in the trunk and between the seats, still found a noticeable amount of grass there. They ask you if it looks clean before you leave, but honestly, I have two little kids with me, I dont have time to check the interiors, leave two kids behind in the waiting room to have an inspection. So there I was, dragging the kids to a car I expect and trust them to have cleaned already, but noooo, for the price, not worth it. I stopped my plan with them. I just want to get out.

I had the WORST experience here. My tag said it was being used somewhere else, press help. I did TWICE and finally had to tell for someone to help and when I did, I explain I pressed help.oh thats never worked. So whats the purpose of the button?? FIVE cars go ahead of me before I get help then there are no clean towels to rinse my car. When asked by the manager to speak with someone above him, he informs me theyre a corporation and there is no one above him. Im just waiting on the car wash on Main Street to finish. I pay too much money a year to be treated the way I was today.
