WHAT Covid rules? Tiny waiting room with too many people in it. No one working the check in window. Walked in with prepaid test order and staff said, What is THIS?!! Blew my vein taking blood. No urine sprecimen trapdoor in the lavatory. I was told to walk it in to the lab area. Seems to me there must be some medical sanitary rules about that.

Made sure to make an appointment. Arrived before my appointment time and checked in. Here I am in the waiting room still waiting to get my blood drawn. Appointment was at 10 am here I am still waiting at 10:26 am.

This was my first time going to this lab. The young lady who checked me in a drew my blood was Yevette. She was caring and professional. I have very poor veins but Yevette was able to find the right spot with no difficulty. I am very pleased with this location and will continue to go there, if needed in the future. Thanks for making this a good experience.

I was nervous about going here after reading previous reviews. I’m happy to say I had a great experience. The digital check-in kiosk was easy to use and the wait wasn’t long. The phlebotomist was very cheerful and personable. It was a quick and easy visit!

My husband is a “hard stick.” And when I say hard stick I mean we’ve spent hours at LabCorps before.... in the hospital it has taken sonograms to find good veins and still multiple tries. We have now been to this location and had Alice Hamilton draw my husbands blood twice and she’s awesome!! She’s able to draw it quickly and efficiently and shows concern for the patients comfort. Wonderful experience with Alice!!

After reading reviews, I was leary heading here for lab work and drug testing for my nursing program. I was pleasantly surprised at the quick check in amd there was less than 10 min wait before I was seen. The nurse was very polite and did an excellent job getting my blood work. The facility was clean and everyone was highly professional. I will definitely come back as well as recommend to others. 25 min from check in to check out 👍

Filthy.. never mind covid 19- I am concerned about contracting meningitis in here. this clinic is grimy and sanitation obviously is not a priority. The entry door has stains from people touching it and never being wiped down and I could go on and on.I had to take a urine sample and spent the first 5 minutes cleaning up the pee splattered all over the toilet and floor.I dont know what my options are but I will never go back to this lab corp location.

This location in Summerville is by far the best labcorp I have EVER been to. Alice and Yevette are the best, sweetest, most professional people I have ever come in contact with at any location and they do their job very well. I will always come back here when I need to have labs done.

Blew my vein out, poorly ran, and not paying attention to COVID rules

I have always had a great experience here. All the staff have been personable and kind and for someone who usually hates needles, they have always done a wonderful job helping me feel comfortable.

This is my first time visiting this LabCorp location. Needles make me nervous and I’ve had some pretty horrible experiences at different facilities before. Alice with this location was phenomenal! She was very kind and listened to my concerns. I didn’t feel the needle at all and it was over before I knew it. Thank you Alice 😊

Despite the negative reviews, I was still okay giving this place a chance. Unfortunately the 1 star reviews were all pretty accurate. I know COVID changes things but I made an appointment and here I am currently waiting in my car 45 minutes after my appointment. That was after 20 minutes of sitting inside the waiting room not seeing 1 employee and listening to the phone ring and never get answered until someone finally came out to say wait in your cars. Yikes... Only go here if you need to or definitely seek elsewhere if you can.

We went to get my daughters blood drawn the same day her Dr requested the labs. Not only were they quick and got us in right away, but the staff was extremely helpful and patient with my daughter! They made her feel comfortable and did a great job!

By being 27 weeks pregnant, I have had to give blood several times at this point. Once directly in my doctor’s office, once at a different LabCorp location, and twice at LabCorp of Summerville. The Summerville location was a repeat visit because the customer service and care provided there are exceptional. Even before 8:00 AM, the staff is sweet and attentive! Pregnant ladies often have a lot going on, but the technicians here have made me feel comfortable and welcome by taking care of my needs in a timely fashion and offering all COVID-19 protective protocols possible. Thank you!

Strange how outlandishly and over-the-top rude all the staff is here to everyone, as they blast Christian Gospel music at maximum volume at their customers. Are they listening to it ironically? I cannot imagine any of these people actually believe in Jesus Christ -- commanding us to be kind to one another was basically His whole deal. The employees and owners of this establishment should all be ashamed of themselves. Their behavior is so abhorrent and beyond the pale. The state health board needs to investigate this place because I would bet my life savings the rudeness and disrespect of patients that goes on here is just the tip of the iceberg in terms of the misconduct and illegality going on.

So after checking in they took another person that checked in way after me before me then after waiting 45 mins they call me back only to tell me they can’t find my doctors orders and I needed to leave cause they were about to go to lunch gave me a card told me to call back and check to see if they have them before I come back today and if I did come back today I needed to be there by 3 cause even though they close at 4 they lock the doors and start cleaning up by 3:30 I’ve called multiple times after calling my doctor and the phone for two days now has been off the hook or something cause a busy signal is all I get

Even though the Kiosk machine was down I was able to walk in and get my lab work done right away without having to wait...my lab tech Alice was very friendly and competent.

Don’t bother going here in the morning if you plan on getting your employment drug test done. They don’t start them until 10 AM and no exceptions even though their website says that they’re open earlier. Apparently it’s an inconvenience to start them when they open.

I was worried about going here because of all the bad reviews....I could not have been more pleased. The two employees were very friendly. The office was clean and they had me in and out in minutes. Would absolutely do labs here again.

Very rude and disrespectful ! Had my I.d. withheld from me and then was told when I called the cops that I treatin the employee so she told the police officer to get me for trespassing when I asked how was I trespassing and was told noone knew very unprofessional today...Oct 23 2020

I was very happy with the staff and my experience. Ms Hattie drew my blood. She was super sweet and gentle.

I was there for lab work. This older black lady with a dark brown and blonde colored short wig and a very low hanging bottom pink lip was servicing me. Her name is Hattie. She was a nasty heifer from beginning to end. I have never had anyone hollar my name through a closed door, sling me my drivers license towards me. If you are too old to work, stay home. Plus, you shouldnt be blasting church music anyway. I see why this lab has such a low score.

This is the second time I have used this LabCorp and both times the appointment that I scheduled in Ada Vance was pointless. The staff choose to not follow their scheduled times. Staff are terribly rude and should be provided an opportunity to train on customer service. I would not recommend anyone to be seen at this site and would highly encourage LabCorp to review the way this site is managed in regards to appointments.

I had a Lovely experience at Labcorp today. Yvette was super sweet and pleasant. She made my 3 hour stay very comfortable. Thank you!

I had to take my daughter to get her blood drawn for her allergist. I scheduled an appointment online (which was having a bit of trouble processing). However, I was able to successfully schedule the appointment without calling. When we showed up for the appointment, we did not have to wait long before they called us back. I was more nervous than my daughter was because she didnt know what to expect. When we were in a private room, the nurse spoke with me to calm my nerves as well as my daughter. She told a story about how she needed my daughters help with a butterfly. She couldnt get the butterfly to eat and involved my daughter in getting interested in helping the butterfly. They made up a song to sing for the butterfly to come out. The food was in my daughters arm and it would only be a little pinch. My 2 year old daughter watched the butterfly needle and the nurse draw her blood with no tears. I was very impressed with the staff and how efficient the entire process was. Thank you for taking such good care of my daughter. (Side note: the blood work determined that my daughter had officially outgrown her peanut and egg allergies. YAY!)

I came in the door with outdated insurance information. I was greeted by Yvette who kindly guided me through my insurance dilemma. She drew my blood, I hardly knew she did it, it was done so nicely! I was out the door with a smile on my face. Thank you, Yvette and Labcorp!

Closed for lunch (12:30-1:30) and only open til 4:00. So basically you have to take the day off work to get labs done. This is rediculous. I havent been to an office that closed for lunch in i dont know how long. So either there isnt enough staff to cover lunch, or all the staff wants to eat lunch together. Either way, the hours should be posted.

I was thoughroghly less than impressed by this experience. I completed the check in process for a routine pre employment drug screen. Waited, everyone else after me was taken first. After an hour I asked the wait time as I am a nursing mom needing to get back to baby. They rudely told me they cant tell me because their system does not tell them how long it will be. They called the last person there after me who was kind enough to say I could go first and they said they couldnt do that. Not one person here was helpful. I do not write negative reviews often or ever really but I will be calling and speaking to management and will choose to drive further in the future. I reccomend not wasting your time here.

I arrived before 12pm. They acknowledged me at 12:10... Office was empty.... We realized they did not have my bloodwork request so I called my Dr. Then, at 12:25 - while listening to a loud religious station in the reception area the entire time - they informed me I would have to come back after their lunch because my doctor had failed to send the bloodwork request - they acknowledged that they had already had to shut down and restart their fax machine earlier... I did not like having to listen to a religious station or be so rudely shoved out the door after I had been there for about 45 min.

Worst ever. These people are the rudest I have ever encountered in my life. Came for just regular labs and was treated poorly from the moment walked through the door. If I could give them zero stars I would but I had to give them something.

I had a great experience. The woman in front was very polite and helpful. There was a computer issue which she explained, and was good with suggestions to get my orders to them. (Getting printed orders from the doctors office was the most time consuming part of the experience! Overall, I was in and out in less than a half hour.)The phlebotomist was professional, efficient, friendly, and virtually pain free. I was nervous about going here because there are so many bad reviews, but this was a good experience for a blood test. Not to mention, the results came back quickly, entered into my EMR.Im not sure why there are so many bad reviews.

They never answered the phone. I called the customer service number and and she was hatefully rude. No way are these people handling our labs.

There wasnt anyone sitting at the front desk. There was a sign up saying that you needed your ID and insurance card. We took our seat and was called back shortly after. The staff seemed okay. Youont need an appt to come, not sure if that would make a difference anyway.

I receieved nothing but friendly service here. They were quick and proffessional. We even had a laugh or two. I left in a better mood than when i came in.

If your gunna change your hours, you should probably change it on google too. Came here because I need emergent bloodwork and since it was so close to 4pm I decided to come to this location because they are open until 4:30. Only to show up and see a sign on the door saying they closed at 4. Thanks a lot.

I watched the grumpy woman who obviously hates her job be rude to the person in front of me as I waited in the lobby. Hoping that she wouldnt be rude to me, I proceeded with caution when she called my name, and I am always nice to people I dont know, because what reason do I have to be upset with them? Anyway, she asked for ID and I had accidentally dropped it in front of her, and before I could apologize, she picked it up and THREW IT IN MY FACE and told me to leave and that shes not going to help me because she didnt like me or my attitude! MY ATTITUDE! Ha! Sadly I know she will get away with it because people like her always do. I left in tears because I did nothing to deserve to be humiliated and disrespected like that. She deserves to lose that job but we all know shell probably work there forever, disrespecting every other person who walks in there. If you can, avoid this place at all costs! There were children in the lobby and she had the audacity to treat me like that all over a small misunderstanding. If you hate your job that much, GET A NEW JOB!

Cant get anyone on the phone here. They made a billing error and now I have to drive over there just to get assistance!

The hours for Wednesday are incorrect....they say they are open Midnight to 4:30pm....it is 6:30am....they are closed....they open at 7am the rest of the days....hoping thats the case today.....waiting.....
