For me it worked perfectly since I was just moving to Lake Charles because of a job opportunity. No apartments or hotels were available so I lived here for 3 months until I found something. They gave me my deposit back on the same day I checked out, which was really nice. Overall if you need a quick place to stay the room I lived in was a good experience. The only bad part is the train track right behind you.

We resided at Common and School location. Real nice apartment. Very spacious. This location is super-convenient to everywhere you could want to go. Management was responsive to all questions and recommendations from us. I know all the staff (office and maintenance) of this organization will treat you well too ! Dannie & John

My room was flooded by a toilet (twice) due to the place having plumbing problems & my school books were COMPLETELY ruined that i am currently renting for college. I told the manager about it and the owner and i even ask for a compensation & they said they would see what they could do.. Which was absolutely nothing. It was honestly a shame. I moved the VERY next day. I wouldnt recommend staying here...

The place were just awesome

The studio apartment is decent its clean with no bugs but the train that runs behind the apartments blows horns at 1 or 3 or 5 in the morning and all day also. I would of stayed had it not been for the train

I have stayed here before and enjoyed my stay. The rooms are well priced, clean, and nicely furnished. The managers were very kind and quick to respond to any issues. The office staff is courteous and professional. I will keep them in mind for future stays and absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a nice place to stay!

This is the same address as what is called pelican motel, across the street is a relax inn. I have seen firsthand the conditions on the inside of these rooms at pelican motel. According to this photo and my visits to this property the pelican motel is on the same property on the same side of the street. The conditions of the rooms of the pelican motel or very poor and it is not a hotel It is a place where people live and pay by the week. The showers or molded with black mold there is an infestation of roaches and or rodents. It is my personal opinion that this place be condemned due to the rotting walls electrical problems and black mold.. disgusting situation but people are paying 8 to 1200 a month to live in a prison cell environment.. therefore, I do not recommend this place to anyone..

Expected rent on time, yet didnt maintenance or keep yards up. And every lease renewal they went up on the rent. I moved out August 31st and has received my deposit back yet.

Great place to live!!! Management really takes care of they tenants!!! Been here seven years!!!
