You have to move carts out of your way just to park, and there is so few employees that there is NEVER any one in there department if you need help. The manager of this store should either be fired or questioned as to why the parking lot situation is acceptable and why there is not a lowes representative in each area some of these employees try to cover 4 and 5 areas ridiculous.9/11/2021Charles the local genius that supposedly works in the electrical department got VERY rude with my wife including cursing even at one point touching her in a aggressive manner. I will be discussing this with my lawyer and we do NOT recommend going here if your a woman by yourself. I plan on trying to find lucky Mr. Charles my self and discussing this MAN TO MAN instead of man to woman.

This store needs to invest in some new managers. No one answers the phone or can track an order. They can not give a status on any orders. Then they always hang up on you after being on hold for 30 minutes. I have called 6 times in the last few days. Mitch in delivery never calls back and only broken promises. I talked with the assistant store manager and he accidentally hung up on me. I ordered $6,621 of building supplies on 8/4. They changed my delivery date 3 times. Then delivered a partial on 8/17. They cant deliver what was purchased or promised. This place is a joke.

Big place and they had a lot of wood in stock after the hurricane Ida. At the pro shop they were helpful in paying over the phone.

My and my 75 year old mother visited the store Sunday for two bags of mulch. Three employees were standing just a few feet away from the pallet I was needing to get to conversating about an ex boyfriend being from Port Arthur. The few bags that were left on the ground were ripped open so I climbed on top of another pallet just to open up a new pallet and get new bags. I wont ask for help as I just do things myself, but to stand in a group just feet away conversating about non work related topics clearly unaware of their surrounding was VERY upsetting. How can they not see me on a pallet???

Cousin ordered an item for curbside pickup. She received notification that her order was ready. Arrived at store, parked by online pickup and called number. Had to call twice before they answered. The attitude of the employee was not good. Waited 10 min before the employee came outside with the wrong order! Went back in, took an addl 5-7 min to come back outside. Gave the item to me and said have a good day but the tone and look on her face was that she was inconvenienced. My cousin is handicapped and this was the best option for her, but she will not return to this store after being treated this way. Horrible horrible service and attitude. If they dont want to do curbside pick up, then take it off their location.

Terrible service AND NO PARKING! This is one of the worst Lowes stores I have ever been too. Good luck trying to check out because no matter how busy they may SEEM there is never more than 2 cashiers checking people out with lines going down the aisles waiting. And who in the hell makes parking spots built for compact cars AT A LUMBER AND HOME BUILDING STORE that clearly has 90% of its customers driving large trucks to pick up there stuff!!!! This place sucks!

I witnessed a supervisor physicslly choke one of the staff and I was told the lady who got choked was fired and I noticed the manager who choked the poor lady was walking around yesterday so I guess they arent going to do anything about their own supervios assaulting their own staff. How pathetic

Saw an item available online. Drove to store. Lowe’s app says it’s on isle 700. 3 different employees told me that’s not a real isle and none of them could locate it for me.

Im in this place 3 to 5 times a week. We always load our own stuff because its hard to find someone not busy. Time is money so it works for me!

The only positive experience recently from Lowes is getting very good service and good product knowledge from one of your employees in the paint department. Miss Stephanie stands out. She takes the time to help in every way possible. Even under (what I would call extreme pressure to some) she handles it very well.

I was pretty annoyed with the slow slip into the Walmart self check standard being adopted here. Now apparently when the self check lady is done playing on her phone in a corner shell charge you at the door to accuse you of stealing. This paired with a never ending supply of previously used/modified material coming off the shelf means its worth the drive to home depot from now on.

The store had a wide variety of brands to choose from. Garden section wasnt as clean as the inside of the store but easily over looked with a speedy checkout.

I’ll have to give it a five star rating due to the fact Home Depot didn’t have any of the Ring items I wanted and Lowe’s had every single one and I had six different Ring items I needed, so my hats off to you Lowe’s because you know what I need, baby you, you had want I need-ed lol...

The mask mandate was not being enforced. Store seemed not dirty but disheveled. Prices werent clearly marked on some items. Not my best trip to Lowes

Due to the recent hurricanes & ice storms, they are extremely busy & parking is a bit crowded depending on the time/day. But you can usually find a parking space in a free minutes.*There needs to be a few more handicap spots during peak hours tho.* Theyve done a good job of keeping up w supplies & theyve actually hired enough help to assist w the increased demand for building materials. The garden center is full of everything you need for a beautiful, healthy lawn, garden, flower bed, landscaping etc. Paint dept its great about getting orders quickly & correctly. And there are always cashiers at the ready, getting orders rung up quickly & efficiently....& no check yourself out stations! YAY!!! Will be glad when items can be purchased online & then picked up at service desk is resumed. Its been temporarily suspended. That Was a great system & we used it often. Well continue to shop at Lowes bc they offer a decent selection of products & there are employees there to assist when needed.

It’s like toys r us for adults... but with that being said whoever they have timing their web page could and should update their inventory. For the last two weeks they have shown anywhere from 45-67 bits I need and I have stopped 5 times in this time frame and not even one has been available

Another business that revised inventory and staffing to help our area recover from Hurricane Laura; the garden center and part of the parking lot were turned into warehousing space, I dont think they even offered any Christmas decorations this year so that there was room for dehumifiers and cleaning supplies. One of the first businesses open after the hurricane and one of the most essential.

I came to this Lowes yesterday because of their great customer service! Within a minute of walking through the door, one of their employees was eager to assist me in finding everything I needed. She knew the exact aisle for every item in the store and even escorted me back to the front for check out before she was off to assist someone else. It may be a little farther of a drive, but by far one of my top 5 Lowes trips. I cant wait to make up more excuses to come to this Lowes.

Very disorgainized and hard to find help from any employees. Also the contractors exit is constantly blocked by materials. All and all it seems like this store needs a management overhaul.

While on several occasions Ive gone to this store and gotten a nod from staff however tonight was different. I entered the store tonight and had a gentleman ask if he could help in anyway. Yes sir, Im looking for wet/dry vacuums, he says I believe thatll be on aisle 14. I made my way to 14 looking along the way and saw a mini fridge and again a lady sees that in looking up to the 3rd lvl of the shelving rack, can I help you. Nice was my thought and she got me a price and I bought a mini fridge. Told her thanks and went to 14 as planned and didnt see any wet/dry vacs but the two more staff members working in that area asked if I could use assistance. Well the gentlemen in the front was close but was 2 rows off, however that had happened only that day, the very reason these last 2 guys were in the vacuum area. So we go to aisle 17 and look at vacuums. 3 of water in the store, already have 2 vacs at our business and need to get the water out. One of the 2 guys says what about using a transfer pump and water hoses. Was a great experience, I saved over $70 by just talking with a knowledgeable staff member, it was the best customer service Ive ever experienced at Lowes, EVER... wish every visit was like this one.

Overall wasnt a good experience at all hardly any selection. I was there for a DeWalt tool Pac. Had it in my cart it was an empty box ..had five of them on display there. This guy got it out of my car said we dont have those so I said dp yall have any in any other btand. no we dont have none ..I look up on the top shelf on the wall and theres three different kinds up there. had what I needed but I couldnt get him to get it I guess. Sol Im trying to buy roofing gun. I look at your roof guns and the guy right there said hey we got nine of he.then he couldnt find them so I was going to buy $500 tool pack $250 gun and theyre just cant find them or wont get them off the top shelf ..$750 just walk out the door. I think yall need better employees more motivated to satisfy the customers and your overhead .its all about the money .Ill be taking my money elsewhere thanks a lot Lowes..

Lowes has become my go to place for remodeling and home improvement but trying to find an employee to assist you is next to impossible. So you better hope you know what your looking for.

Not much to say.its a hardware store I did find the employees I interacted with were quite plesant.

I just left the Sulphur Lowe’s. Lowes is my preferred store and I drive past a Stines and a HD to get there. My usual store is in Lake Charles but I had to come to Sulphur because item wasn’t available in LC. I have back issues and walk with a cane. The item I wanted weighed 110lbs. Waited 10 minutes in aisle. Walked over to appliances and had an associate paged. Ten minutes later I called store and after wading through 4 layers of options finally got a human who again paged an associate. After waiting another 14 minutes I left my cart and items in sale 32 and left the store after talking to a manager who didn’t seem at all concerned. She just asked where I had left the cart. Don’t expect service or consideration in this store.

Always love Lowes but this year was disappointed with sulphur store. They had no Christmas decorations.

I found a great deal on a new table top saw. I had to go to this store as they had stock. I ordered it online and they had it up front when I got there. Only took a couple a minutes to pick it up. A nice store employee help me load it in my van. A nice store to deal with.

My experience at lowes with John was bad!I asked if he could get someone to get my sheetrock down and he said he was gonna finish helping someone and I was fine with that but then he kept going by after awhile and didnt even acknowledge the fact i have been waiting for a while then I asked someone else and she said ok Im gonna go check and never came back So i had to go get my money back!

I like the way they raise the cost of everything when a disaster like Hurricane Laura happens knowing good and well people will buy it because they need it and cant get it anywhere else because everywhere else is destroyed. They could do some good and discounted the most needed things to help the community.

Did I mention how worthless most of the employees here are. There needs to be a complete overhaul of the employees here. I understand that there arent exactly a lot of qualified applicants to choose from, but the corporation cant be making any money at this location with the obvious levels of incompetence and dishonesty.

Long story short I ended up going somewheres else and gave their competitors my money Wich was a loss of 6,000 to Lowes.

Previously I had given them one star for a horrible experience we had in store. I have since had a change of heart. Mrs. Martha and Dean both personally reached out to me. Both did an excellent job trying to rectify the situation. They let me air my frustrations. They didnt make flimsy excuses as to why my experience was bad. They didnt throw out statements about firing people. They apologized (for something that wasnt even their fault)and talked with me. Not to me. Sometimes thats all it takes to make the difference. I wasnt looking for people to get fired, or some large compensation. Just someone to hear me out and take record of this. I appreciate the way they handled everything. These days its hard to find managers or even just people who care that much about what goes on in their store.

Up on generators, helpful staff, missing a lot of storm cleanup stuff like rakes. Plenty on generators and air conditioning units.

Always get just what I need and the garden section is better than Home Depot. I love how they have a military discount even for VETERANS! Seems like our veterans are forgotten about except in May and November. My husband served for 4 years and went to war but because he’s not active a lot of places won’t give discounts. But Lowe’s does even has parking for vets! Love Lowe’s.

This place is so made for women who don’t know what the hell they are doing! The people are so helpful and knowledgeable! There is the one lady in paint who knows her paint so well she recommended a particular paint so it wouldn’t bubble in the bathroom. I love her.

Been to many Lowes in many states. I was passing through Sulphur and helping out some family. Stopped in and was stumped on some ideas for fixing and finishing some walls. Ran into a guy named Shaun in paint and just have to say how wonderful and nice he was. He gave great advice and had and knew everything I needed. Thanks for making it easy and stress free!!!!
