The employees there have been nothing but helpful and understanding. There was also a cute dog there tonight. Thats not really relevant to the review, but I just want to note that the dog is in fact cute.

My time at Sulphurs Planet Fitness has been very pleasant. I am motivated to get in shape as well as tone/strengthen my body

They were so helpful for me and my three kids to use the restroom during the ice storm and pandemic! Out of the five places I stopped at they were the only business that welcomed us in, and provided a mask! Thank you guys! 40 minute drive home would have been agonizing!!

Outstanding customer service and a plethora of amenities.

This particular location is one of the best I’ve been to. 🔥 Not crowded, clean, and professional. I love how the sinks in the men’s locker room are all at your level, so you don’t have to bend over to wash your hands. Lockers are great, equipment is good, staff was very helpful. 👍👍👍

Its a non-shame environment dedicated to helping people of all sizes, and races to achieve their fitness goals.Some gyms just want the money.This gym wants to HELP YOU SUCCEED!They arent lazy and in favor of your failure- the gym model of money making is DEDICATED TO MAKING YOU FAIL- because they make more money the emptier their machines are.This gym helped me lose 50 pounds in 6 months for $20/month. I really enjoy PF. It has a positive atmosphere, friendly staff and clean, updated equipment. I get tired of people bashing PF because they like to bandwagon with those who think they are hardcore. Like anything else, it might not be for everyone. It is not a hardcore gym, it is a fitness facility so stop the comparison. If you dont like it just go somewhere else but please stop the judgement and hate rhetoric. Come give PF a try.

Currently moved from California to Sulphur, this been the best gym I’ve ever been too! Service is the best, always friendly. Highly recommend the Trainer here.

Amazing place to work out for everyone 13+ but during the afternoon it gets really packed

Ive been going here at least 4 times a week for the last 6 months. Mostly in the AM. Regardless of what time you go, the staff is always on point, very friendly, willing to help or just chat..the crowd of customers is also usually the same, but if you choose to go in alone, space out, listen to music, etc...you will have plenty of room to do so without feeling crowded. Best priced around town and a relaxing atmosphere.

Was in Sulphur LA for a short time due to work. I explained to front desk my situation and they offered me a plan with no cancellation fee. After I left guess what..was charged cancellation fee. Wow great service 👎👊..never again wouldnt even give it a star on rate..

I hate working out, I hate going to the gym, Im not an in shape person, but planet fitness is different. I LOVE the circuit area ... 30 minutes bust it out, massage, tan and home Im 75 minutes total. The massage and tan are my reward for doing the workout.

The staff members are always smiling, they’re very friendly and are always so helpful. The atmosphere in this facility is very warm, inviting and the facility itself just motivates you.

Gym is great... The people working there not at all professional or nice at all. They dont do their work right. I came in to cancel my membership because I moved. The guy that was there did not do his work right. They said I never canceled. Long story short make sure you keep your receipt showing you have proof of cancellation and of you do not and they continue to take money out your bank each month just go to your bank and cancel your card problem solved....

Planet Fitness Sulphur, LA is very clean, spacious and the staff are very friendly. I felt comfortable any time I went and highly recommend this location to anyone.

Not over crowded. Good place to get a workout done without someone hovering over you.

I work at recon next door. Super convenient! The showers could be kept up better and hot water breaks occasionally. They had just opened so maybe it took some kinks to be worked out.

This is by far my favorite location because of the staff and how knowledgeable they all are and they really care about the customers

A bit small but it’s understandable since its a small town. Other than that, its very clean and great customer service

I stood at the desk many of times and have to wait due to the employees working the desk are usually distracted with their cell phones. Both hydrobeds are out of order. Also, the stand up tanning beds are out of order. So theres really no use in having a black card for the gym in Sulphur. Ooooh and I almost forgot, two out of the four restrooms have out out order signs on them. One has had a sign on the door for seven months now!

I hate that i signed up with them. They do everything in their power to make it convenient for you to sign up but make it extremely difficult to end your account. Ive been a member for years and no courtesy whats so ever. Nothing special about this gym.

Love the gym but its very hard to cancell a membership on your bank account that is in someone elses name.

This place is horrible. They need to get with the times, if you come here to workout and want a guest pass for a week and I was willing to even pay a whole month up front just to workout for a week, i was told no.I been all over the world and never seen a place that cant accommodate people that grew up in the area, just wanting to workout. They dont welcome people that come back to this area visiting their family.They give you all kinds of excuses. Poorly run organization. Can accept debit cards or cash for just a weeks pass.

Right next door to my work. Showers are cleaned daily, although they could use a new grout job and one has a cracked floor. Staff is friendly!

I love the staff here. They are very friendly and always greet you when you walk in. I feel like they really care about our wellbeing and fitness. Buying a membership here isnt going to break the bank. The black card is well worth it to me. I tan, enjoy my workout, then get a massage in the hydro massage chair and I am a happy camper. You can also bring guests with you anytime you come if you have the black card. It is true you cant be rude or judgemently or drop weights/grunt like a lunk(as they call it lol). It is a more comfortable environment, so I just get to enjoy my workout.

I think they have horrible customer service and security because first they steal my lock from the locker room then i ask if they can pls hold my sweater not even a big gym bag just a simple sweater behind the counter because they just stole my lock and this short white male Employee says no very rudely mannered and bad tone aftet it wasnt my fault they stole my lock and i wanted to get off with my sweater because it was so freezing cold.

Bad experience!!! Guys recording girls while doing their exercises, in fact I spoke with the manager and they never solved the situation. For that reason I enrolled in another gym. 🇵🇷

Lots of rules, dont have a any kind of benches, 95% machines. Feels like a physical rehab center not a gym. If your Into body building this isnt the place for you

The gym is great some of the other gym goers are a little rude and hog equipment by being on their phones and not moving on when they are done.

These people will lie to your face about their fees. If you dont go in within a 3 or so day time frame to cancel when your time is up, they charge you a different fee (not cancellation). Nevermind if you have a 60hr a week job and cant make it due to traveling etc. When you ask the 20 or so year old person in charge behind the counter, they have no knowledgeable explanation for the fee. They just cower and charge your card.

Was disappointed that they wanted my bank account number for a no contract membership. And at $15. A month they were going to charge me high price 1 month after starting to keep the $15. Price.
