Dr. Mohan’s summer camp was very beneficial in expanding the amount of topics and subjects that I would be interested in doing and studying; proliferating my interests in subjects other than bio.

This camp was packed with information, and I learned tons of science! Some topics that I learned the most about are rock composition, geologic eras, invertebrates, ecology, and orbitals. I thank Dr. Mohan so much for teaching this class.

My 11 year old attended the 200B for the spring of 2021. The class is very designed with detailed instruction and home work. The class provide video which can be a great tool to help the kids review the class before the homework. My attended Math Rock MAP test, surprisingly he got 247 while highest range is up to 251 for grade 4-7. I am thrilled with the result and really happy that I made the right decision to send him to Momentum.

Mr. Zhang is a really great teacher! His computer science classes are thorough and very detailed. I was able to learn many new concepts under his guidance and I really enjoy his teaching style. His lessons are well paced and theres always time for us to ask questions.

Dr. Ming is one of the best mentors I have ever had. The computer science classes he offers are certainly of high quality and each lesson is tailored to meet the needs of students. Personally, his exceptional teaching has allowed me to reach the USACO Platinum Division and develop my strong interest for programming. Mr. Zhangs class is very productive. There is always time for questions and help when needed. Most importantly, every explanation is thorough and well-said. His class makes computer science interesting and meaningful. Finally, he is friendly and energetic. Each lesson provides a great experience for learning computer science.

Dr. Zhang is an exceptional teacher, and I have learned a lot from his computer science classes. He is very passionate about teaching and does not hesitate to spend extra time explaining the material if there are questions. I did the AIME review course this spring. I learned quite a lot from it, and the classes were very well paced, interactive, and fun! I have been taking math classes at Momentum Learning for many years, and my problem solving skills have improved significantly. I highly recommend taking their math courses.Additionally, after taking interest in programming, I began taking Dr. Zhangs USACO classes last year, and they truly helped me improve my programming skills far more than I could have on my own. Before I started taking his classes, I knew nothing about the various techniques involved in solving problems efficiently and could not imagine promoting to Gold Division in such a short time period. Amazing teachers! My son has been taking classes from Momentum Learning and he has improved so much. Before Momentum, he was taking competition math classes from other places. But what a difference after we found Momentum. The classes are clearly structured from the beginner level and up. We just finished CM301 which is the perfect level for us. No other places in Houston can even remotely match what Momentum Learning offers. Last November, my son scored high on AMC8 and now hes very self-motivated. We are very grateful!

I decided to try taking some Momentum Learning classes after hearing about them online. I am originally from Idaho, and the resources for learning competition math are very limited. I was the top student in the state, but online I could see that other states and areas would have many more opportunities to grow. After sitting through the first class, it was clear to me how passionate the teachers were about their fields. The lectures were fun, enlightening, and best of all impactful. Dr. Nal and Ms. Nal really inspired me to find a career in math, and to continue doing competitive mathematics in the future. If your child is aspiring to become a mathematician, this program could be life-changing. 10/10.

My daughter loves it and thinks the teacher is great. It is costly. I think more families will join the class if the price can go down by 30%. Also, I think the videos should be available for review for at least 20 weeks as the students (7-12 graders) need time to digest it. I do not understand why the videos can only be posted for 4 weeks after the classes. Thanks.

They offer good quality training for our kids and also have strong passion for their work. Our kids enjoy learning stuff there. The classroom is clean and well organized.

In 6th grade, I barely qualified for AIME. Over the subsequent year, Momentum Learning has helped me bridge the gap between AIME and USAJMO, and I got a satisfactory score on the JMO in 7th grade. The courses are comprehensive, rigorous, and inspiring. The teachers are very experienced and the problems chosen teach the concept well. The 2019-2020 winter camp was one of my best experiences ever.

Dr.Reiters Class was such an amazing experience for my son Krithik .He has always been the type to ask ‘why’ and ‘how’ and tries to understand the concept. He loves solving puzzles, riddles, and logic problems. He has undoubtedly learned most valuable concepts from Dr.Reiters class than all other math classes and textbooks combined so far. I started taking Momentum Learning classes since 6th grade, and every single class I have taken has taught me so much about math and science. The teachers are very kind and eager to teach, and it is this passion that also inspires me to learn new things and become better academically. I have met people and teachers that relate a lot to me and through the process of talking to them I have learned more things in these classes than I have learned anywhere else. We went to the winter camp last year and it was amazing. We have been to several other math camps and this is absolutely the best out of all. Dr. Nals class was very fun and full of inspiration. The font desk was also very helpful. My son wanted to use his cellphone during lunch break, but I was afraid that he would use it during the class. The receptionist kindly offered to keep the phone during class time and return it to my son during lunch break. It turned out work perfectly! I strongly recommend Momentum Learning!

I have gone to classes at Momentum Learning for the past 4 years and it has been essential to my success in USACO and AMC contests. I was originally a complete beginner in both competitive programming and math, but was able to qualify for the USAJMO and USACO National Training Camp through the high-quality and rigorous classes there. Without the help of amazing and supportive Momentum Learning teachers including Dr. Nal, Mrs. Nal, and Dr. Ming, I would not have been able to reach my potential. I wholeheartedly recommend Momentum Learning classes to anybody wanting to excel at math or computer science.

My daughter goes to momentum for its after school program. The teacher Ms Kent is very good at inspire young kids learning all subjects in school. They coach the students to finish their homework, and pass out extra worksheets for advanced learning, especially for math! We love this place and Ms Kent!

I was an assistant teacher at Momentum Learning over the summer last year in my time between my freshman and sophomore year at Stanford University. My time there proved to be incredibly valuable in my growth as a rising college student and teach me the skills necessary to where I am now a TA for a college class here. The students also have a wonderful time and we like to challenge them with problems or concepts that their age group normally wouldnt see until years later in advanced high school or even college courses. The benefit to students is HUGE, as I dont think I would have been able to get into Stanford if it werent for similar lessons and coursework I learned in middle and high school. The content really does put you at the head of your class, and Ive seen some students as young as 8 years old already shine and have the skills I had when I was double their age. So I definitely recommend Momentum Learning for anybody who wants to see their children rise to become stars in academics.

Terrible place to learn - the facilities are so cramped and dangerous. They seem to squeeze as many kids as possible into a class. Dont be fooled by their pictures. They dont really care at all about quality.

This is an awesome school! All teachers, especially Mrs. Nal and Dr. Nal are very professional and highly experienced in contest math. The front receptionist is very friendly and kindly. My son lost his calculator twice and she helped keep this and gave it back to us.

Dr. Nal had taught me exceptionally well in the course of Advanced Algebra. In the online class, it was very interactive and students were able to connect with others and the teacher. Dr. Nal increased my interest and enthusiasm in math with his unique and fun style of teaching. I will return to learn even more with Dr. Nal.

Worst and rudest receptionist in your Sugar Land office. My husband and I were there trying to get more information on the summer camp. The receptionist was rude, condescending, unhelpful and just overall very unpleasant. I originally wanted to sign my kids up for the summer, but after our interaction with the rude Chinese receptionist, we changed our mind immediately.

Very very bad expereince. We sent our son to Momentum Learning for the full-time camp, located in Sugar Land 77479.Before long we realized we made a mistake. The teacher had no experience handling kids. Our son fell in the classroom and got injured badly by the table metal-edge. We are disappointed how the student safety was handled by Momentum. If the teacher would take care of my son more professionally or carefully, it could prevent this accident from happening.The way how Momentum handled this accident was very unprofessional. The teacher not provided me the written accident report until I requested. They did not mention anything about the teacher or the center’s responsibilities. They either addressed our follow-up questions in a very defensive and rude tone, or totally ignored our inquires. Avoid this school if you can. It is cold-blooded and coward. They treated your child just as a revenue contributor, not real a kid.
