Wes was very informative and knowledgeable answered all of our questions.Had to wait a bit for the size Texas sable palm we wanted but it was worth the wait. Installation went flawlessly cleaned up any mess they made and even completed without us home. Still haven’t had our first follow up visit but I’m sure it will go just as smoothly.

We are really happy with the Mule Palm we bought from Palm Professionals Tropical Nursery. Wes Claburn provided very knowledgeable and professional advice which palm to pick as we got concerned because of the recent freeze in Houston. They delivered quickly and installation was professionally done. They came out twice to check on the palm and fertilize it as promised.

Even after Texass devastating freeze, Palm Professionals was able to bring in replacement stock from their farm in Florida. We were waited on promptly and courteously, all our questions were answered, and we could select from an enormous inventory of beautiful palms, so we were able to pick the exact plant we wanted in our courtyard. Their advice about species and maintenance was absolutely specific. Installation went smoothly--they had asked all the right questions, so there was no our machines wont fit in your courtyard holdup. A great experience all around! If youre replacing: Be sure to have the stump of your previous palm ground out completely, as that is the only part of the process Palm Professionals doesnt handle.

We are very happy with the Mule Palms we purchased. The installation could have gone better if we had checked where our pool lines were running and marked them so the palm installers could have avoided and not puncture the line. My costly mistake. However, we are very pleased with our palm trees and Palm Professional Nursery. Mark where your pool lines are buried!

I lost the last large palm tree out by my pool during last winters freeze. The staff at Palm Professionals educated us about palms, what kinds of temperatures they can withstand and how to select a good hardy tree. I bought two of their trees. They delivered them with very little fanfare and got them installed. Alex even told me to water them on the trunk of the tree and let the water run down to the ground. These trees restored a rich tropical look to my back yard. I am so grateful!!

I visited Palm Professionals Nursery twice in a week, each time taken on a tour of this 2-acre lot packed with palm trees. Christian was helpful in educating me in the characteristics of various palms, and knowledgeable in answering my questions. All the trees were healthy, and the larger ones were well trimmed. I chose from a large selection of my particular choice. I chose a mid-size Mule Palm, a cross between two palms, which offers cold protection to 14 degrees, and looks great. Palm Professionals are exactly that...professionals. Like much of Houston, we lost a few large oleanders during the freeze in February 2021. We needed to add mature trees to our backyard, and wanted to go with palms to compliment the pool scenery. Gary and Sheila took time to review photos of our back yard to understand the overall view, and made several recommendations of freeze resistant palms that would suit our needs. After letting us tour their facility and look at all of the palms they answered (endless) follow-up questions from me and my wife. We returned a week or so later to make our selection and decided on a Mule and a Texas Sabal.Delivery and planting was about a week later, and the install crew was courteous, polite and professional.

Great professional help in selecting palm trees to fit your requirements. The installation was done without me being home and the trees were installed exactly where I wanted and the crew cleaned everything up afterwards making the installation look great (added mulch and fertilizer when done).

We have been upgrading our backyard and the last piece was the palm trees by our pool. After reading reviews and visiting several locations we finally visited Palm Professionals. They were closed for Thanksgiving break but Wes was kind enough to open up for us to look around. He was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to understand what we were trying to achieve. We found 2 ribbon palms and a pindo palm that was exactly what we needed. They came out in a few days and had the trees in the ground in a few hours and left us with the directions for their proper care. It was amazing to see them maneuver those trees into our backyard because they weren’t exactly little.

On our initial visit to their location Gary asked questions and looked at many pictures we took of our yard to make sure we got the type of palms that would look best in our yard and would be more cold tolerant. Gary was very thorough and knowledgeable in every respect and a pleasure to work with. The installation went very smoothly and as expected. Their prices were very competitive and we certainly liked the guarantee. We have used their palm tree fertilizer for a few years and it is the only palm tree fertilizer we have ever used where we could actually see the results.

A truly professional experience from the initial call, to spending time selecting your trees, through installation. First, these guys know their palms and are willing to spend the time with you to ensure you get exactly what you are looking for. They have a huge selection of palms and even a walk through the nursery is very educational. Their installers are excellent as well, very professional, and cleaned up everything from the tree to the truck, including sweeping and blowing the small amount of dirt left on the driveway. We even got a call a week or so after the fact to see if we had any questions.

The guys at Palm Professionals were very knowledgeable and willing to work around our schedule. They have hard-to-find palms and hard-to-find sizes as well, and were able to set us up with some very cold-resistant varieties so that we wont have to expend a lot after the next freeze. I recently lost 4 beautiful Queen Anne palms to the freezes of our last winter. The recent Labor Day sale posted on Palm Professionals Facebook page prompted me to finally go ahead and replace my palms. I visited Palm Professionals on August 25th, 2018 and spent a wonderful afternoon with Tom Ruddell. We discussed what was freeze hardy, the look I wanted and spent well over an hour touring the palms on site. What an education I got. I left that afternoon the proud owner of 4 palms...1 silver Queen Anne; 2 beautiful Chinese fan palms and 1 pgymy Med. fan palm. Tom suggested I might want to mix up the varieties for an interesting look. Within the week; my palms were planted at my home on August 31st, 2018. Mr. Dino and the installation crew were upmost professionals arriving promptly. Each time a palm was placed; I was asked to take one last look to ensure that it met my expectations. And to top it off; the crew took a leaf blower and blew the small amount of debris off the driveway as they carried the palms to the back yard.
