First experience using transportation services and the driver communicated well, was timely, and courteous considering the urgency of my last minute need/request. The ride was also comfortable.

First Colony Taxi was great. Clean vehicle and friendly driver. I have been in lots of cabs and have never felt as comfortable as I did in my experience.

This is the same company as Sugarland Taxi...I made a reservation for a 7 am flight for my mother out of IAH. The pick up was supposed to be at 4:15 am. I was very concerned and wanted to make sure everything would go okay since my mother is elderly. I had the driver call me (Mario) and asked the owner (Edmund) to confirm everything would go okay - I even prepaid the drive (100.00 when the website said 85). In any case, the driver showed up at 3:37 am! And when asked to wait until 4:15 - he refused - driving off and saying that he had to leave town by 6 am and could not wait -When my mom told me he drove off, I called him (I live in NYC) repeatedly, and he refused to pick up the phone, I called the main number and was put on music hold forever - As you can imagine - calling a cab in Houston at that early in the morning is never easy. When Mario finally picked up the phone - he basically said that he would not wait even to 4:30 (usually, town car service have grace periods of 20 min). In any case, basically, there was no choice- my mom missed her flight as there was no one to take her to the airport. I have used A-1 taxi and Uber in Houston for my mother - never been disappointed - but this service sucks. When Edmund finally got back to me at 4 pm - the owner said sorry and offered to refund the money! what joke!!! dont use them!!!
