If I could have given a 0 stars I would have. This place is super short staffed. From the moment I walk in, I waited 24 min to be checked in. I was asked what I needed and I informed the individual of what I needed specifically. She proceeded with checking me in. I have a seat and await my turn. The teller then comes out from behind the desk and goes to another customer sitting in the other chair. She informs him that he is not checked in and that there is a 2 persons in lobby policy. This individual was checked in because he checked in a little after me. I was appalled. Take in mind it’s almost closing time. After an hour wait, the same teller comes up to me and asks me what I needed. She proceeds to tell me that I need an appointment for that. I told her after waiting over an hour, I need an appointment? She then makes a comment, “you’ve been waiting over and hour?” Then looks at iPad, to try to prove that I had not waiting that long. I told her it took you 24 minutes to check me in. She still rudely tells me I need an appointment after I told them exactly what I needed at the time of check in. I am so upset. I am not a customer of Capital One and I do not plan on being one. They were literally just trying to get rid of us in the lobby so they could go home. I am so frustrated. I did not appreciate the waste of time. I am in disbelief in the way I was treated and spoken too. Customer service is almost non-existent. You are proof of that! I have never had anything like this ever happen to me.

While I believe the cashier was relatively distracted, the overall transaction had no issues and everything went smoothly. The line wasnt long, but the waiting chairs were outdated and the TV did not seem to work. There are 3 tellers typically available and they seem to work fairly quickly. Overall, it is a quaint place.

Well I am not surprised that this location has a poor rating. I have been banking with capital one for years and only kept this active as it was my first bank account. However, my cash was literally stolen at the drive- through banking when I went to make a deposit. I counted right before I delivered the cash and the teller took at it the back cans back after 20 minutes saying it’s short of 20$. Really? My calculator was wrong? What poor customer service!! My major account thankfully is at BBVA and what a difference of day anc night in the customer service and better drive through lanes that are ALL Working not in RED!! Time to close the account!

Not sure why people gave this such a bad rating, but every time I come to make a deposit, the service was nice and the line was not too long. Served the purpose and had higher interest rates than my last bank.

We went into the bank to take care of the estate for a family member in 01/2021, gave all the paper work required for all the account. 6 months later, one of the accounts is still open and asked for the same paperwork again. The clerk is condescending, not very knowledgeable. Very disappointed at the service. Will see how long it takes again to have this account taken care of.

There was only 1 teller focused on helping customers. All the other tellers were just walking around. Its been like that for years and i only come here because its close to my house. Banks are made up by customers and they should be number 1 priority!!!!!

I wish i could give 0 stars. They have no understanding of customer service. There was a line of 10 people in the branch, and the manager takes away 2 of the 3 tellers for a meeting!! What was so important?Some days the lobby is randomly closed and 25 cars in drive thru. Use another branch or go to another company. I am transferring my accounts to Wells fargo

My brother attempted to open a business checkings account at this branch for a corp we incorporated last year but didnt use. They told him I had to be present since I was an incorporating officer even though we had documentation of me signing over 100% ownership to my brother (in Texas, Secretary of State does not require any forms to officially transfer ownership for corps, only internal documentation is required). Despite informing the manager of this she insisted that I be present. So I made a 30 minute 1-way trip here. Now my brother wanted to setup an account for ecommerce. No issues right? Well apparently, according to the manager, ecommerce is not eligible for a business account. She kept asking whats the physical address of business and where customer can walk in. And when he informed her its an online business she said they cant do checking accounts for online stuff lol. So apparently a ecommerce business does not count as a legitimate business. I do the same ecommerce business and have both a BOA business account and Chase business account.The only reason my brother wanted to choose this bank and this branch was due to proximity to his home. The manager said she would look further into this but it didnt really seem like she was doing anything since she just started walking around. Now he got Capital one customer service on the phone and expained to them the situation. Capital one phone support said there was no restrictions on business accounts that theyre aware of. One of the tellers waived us over at this point to inform us that even if they open it apparently someone will eventually catch that its not allowed and the account will be closed automatically.We relayed this back to Capital One phone support and the phone rep asked to speak to the teller. So my brother asked her I have capital one on the phone and theyre asking to talk to you, is it okay if I put my phone on speaker so you can talk to them to which the teller replied no no no we dont do that, they can call the branch. What? You wont even talk to your own companys service line? To discuss a topic involving a customer trying to obtain a product/service from your company?The phone rep was apologetic and just said she wanted to inform the branch people to inquire about this issue through proper internal channels in Capital One. I.e there is a disagreement even with capital one phone rep about this restriction the managers are saying exists so it should be cleared up by submitting a internal inquiry on their side... you know instead of telling customers no.We apologized to the phone rep on the branchs behalf and told her its not her fault and that well just go somewhere else. I looked around the ratings at capital one branches in houston area and this branch unsurprisingly has the lowest rating. Congrats ladies, youve literally earned it

The staff here is terrible. I was at the drive thru earlier today making the deposit, no one is saying hello, just complete silence and then didn’t even say anything after neither when my transaction was completed. A complete silence with no hello or have a good day. Wow, amazing. My first time at this location since I was around the area and what an awful experience like I wasn’t existing.

Stay away from this branch and its branch manager. Absolutely horrible experience. It took 4 days to wire transfer and that too by calling 1-800 number and waiting for an hour. Branch never submitted wire and i could have lost the deal if was not proactive on following up.Branch manager is absolutely irresponsible and did not have courtesy to follow up nor take any accountability for lost transactions.THIS SAME FOR CAPITAL ONE!!The service provided by this branch does not even deserve a single star but that is the lowest u can rate this place.

Went in today to open an account, Tiara assisted me. Although I was unable to get an account with Capital One due to glitch in system, I really appreciate the time she spent trying to resolve the matter. I felt she went above and beyond! You cant really find this type of customer service anymore, (especially in Houston) I was really impressed. Nice to meet genuine people. Thank you!

I needed to deposit a lot of coins. I called to see if they accepted coins, but they dont answer their branch phone. I called twice and got the branch associates are not available at this time message. I visited this branch in person and they told me that they only accept coins already rolled. When I came back another day with the coins rolled, the bank tellers were rude and sarcastic. They made it clear that I was annoying and inconveniencing them for depositing coins at all. Banks dont offer coin counters anymore, so they are the ones inconveniencing me by making me roll my own coins. I guess its lucky that I can do most of my banking online so I dont have to deal with with their rude tellers. Poor customer relations!

Capital one closed the branch near me with no notification. So I have to go 12 miles to a branch that is now overrun with people and they only have 2 bankers and 2 tellers working. Capital one Ive been banking with you for 27 years. No more. Im done. Will take my money to a bank that has branches and people working.

I have had it with this branch. Today I went in to make a deposit and 10 people were ahead of me in line to see a teller. After 10 minutes, two left in anger swearing they would never come back again. After another 10 minutes, not one person was served. The only teller working the lobby had to spend a lot of time with one customer...I get that, but the manager never came out to let us know what was going on....or didnt open two more windows....after 22 minutes, I left in anger....I have seen other posts for this branch and it seems to be very poorly managed. Two years ago, it was great, but that manager is no longer there. I noticed that the drive thru window had the same problem with cars backing out and leaving. Does Capital One with all their advertising about customer service ever listen to their own ads? I am done with this branch, and now must drive 8 miles to get to the next branch, but here is the kicker...they have NO tellers. Will be checking out a Chase bank closer to home. I have been with Capital One for 21 years.

It’s true what they say that one bad apple ruins the bunch. Most of the girls who work the drive thru are very polite and accommodating. There is this one guy who works there named Joshua. He never greets me. Never thanks me. Just very rude. This guy in particular makes me not want to come back to this branch.

Came to make a withdrawal. Waited for the lady to speak because I feel bad pressing the call button... after 3-5 minutes she didn’t say anything so I pressed the call button. Her response was “you know you don’t have to press the call button im right here” but if you saw me here why wouldn’t you say “hello, how may I assist you?” She was slow, rude, and clearly unhappy with her job.“Gcu504” was the only description on the receipt.

Horrible experience with the capital one banking system. They closed the nearest branch which forces me to drive several miles to the nearest location. I lost my debit card and I have yet to receive a new card due to their system being down. I have no access to my money unless I drive and spend an hour in the bank trying to get cash or a new card issued. They’ve been unable to assist me with a temporary card as well as issue a new one. I’ve being trying to get a new card for at least 2 months. No more capital one. I’m done.

This has to be probably the slowest branch Ive ever seen. I tried opening a business account and could not see me because they were understaffed. I needed to make an appointment over the phone, I have been calling the branch about 10 times today and no one picks up at different times.

I went to the bank to conduct business. Now let me say right off that Ive bank with Capital One for quite a few years and I am extremely satisfied with them ... in locations like Pearland, Spring, Woodlands etc ... until I happened into Sugarland branch. The young lady who attended to me was condescending. There is nothing warm and friendly about this branch. I will not go back there.

Recently opened an account after having to cash a a cashier check from my employer.They informed me that there would be a $7 fee to cash a cashiers cheque drawn on their bank, because I was not an account holder. I asked them if I could open an account, because I need one with more, local branches.They told me profusely, that I can do it online and it is really easy and I can do everything and just do it that way because the way you open an account in the branch is you just do it all on line the same way on a tablet they provide there... in about 27 minutes.I was the very first customer in the bank when they opened the door at almost 9:02 a.m. I was actually waiting outside with the armored truck guy for a while.They did not get to me, after cashing my check, until several minutes after 9:30, at which point I had almost finished creating the account on my personal tablet. Good thing, because this was when they produced their tablet for me to open an account in branch with a banker assisting me. I was pretty much done, and attempted to clarify with the banker a few basic terms of the account which remained shrouded in ambiguity despite reading their terms on their website, and her duplicitous statements were of little comfort.Once I was done making my initial deposit, the banker was more than ready to assist me, quite fully and promptly, to set up a savings and money market acount because I really needed those, too, (her words).No thanks, I was finished. I was also informed that if had wished to avoid the $7 fee for cashing a cashiers check as a non-account holder, I should have opened the account first, and cashed the cashiers check afterwards, which sounds very suspiciouly like... EXACTLY what I was trying to do!!!Avoiding the ridiculous .$7 fee was the sole reason I decided to open an account there to begin with.Smh....

This is A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE.The manager IVON said she will not open the doors when it was 9:05 am as we stayed out side in the cold .On top of that my deposit was never posted by capital one bank when all they can say is there having techinal issues .I will not use this bank especially when I have an important emergency .I do not have no security in this bank what a waste of my time .I will choose another bank .

THEY TOOK MY MONEY, AGAIN!! I tried depositing a combination of checks and cash into my checking account today. The teller at the drive-thru told me that I was short on the cash. THIS WAS NOT THE FIRST TIME THAT THIS HAS HAPPENED. Ive had other patrons who were in line tell me that this has happened to them at this branch. THIS IS HIGHLY UNUSUAL AND SUSPICIOUS. I have filed a complaint with the Federal Reserve. In one of the other instances, after telling me repeatedly that I was short, they realized that the money got stuck in their counter.In another incident, after again telling me repeatedly that I was short on the cash, they realized that the money had dropped on the floor. On yet another occasion, they just plain said that I was short on the cash.I was robbed at the bank by the bank. BEWARE OF THIS BRANCH!

I was dressed up in work clothes because I work at a brewery so I dont want to get my good clothes dirty. I came in to make a deposit and immediately was asked by the supervisor or manager from the other side of the counter if I had my ID and an account. She wasnt this way with the other customers in front of me. I told her I do and why is she asking me, then she gave me a dirty look and said some jargon about needing to verify or identification. Anyways its the first thing in the morning so there really isnt excuse for her to be in a bad mood. The teller was polite and courteous. Its unfortunate that a higher up would treat their customers this way.
