Great quiet location. Stayed many times and staff has always been nice and attentive. There does seem to be a water pressure issue on the 5th floor, specifically at the sinks. There is barely enough water to wash your face. Elevator waits can get long at times. Overall great CLEAN place to stay.

This property is located in a area that provides safety and lots of restaurant options. The hotel is modern and has made nice covid safety precautions. BUT with all of that, cleanliness is an issue here. Upon checking, I noticed the pathway from the front door up inside the elevator was very dirty. I understand, it was a Friday night. On the surface the rooms appeared clean until we looked at the main sheet and some areas in the bathroom. This is unacceptable. In these times to see evidence of a previous guest or staff is gross. As a travel agent and former hotel employee, I have expectations and I am realistic as well too. My only real expectation is clean sheets and a clean bathroom. The reason for the 3 stars is the way it was handled. The night staff, Michael, was accommodating and provided us with new linen. Kathleen/Catherine??? the day manager was also very very empathetic and also helped to fix the issue. Great staff, great location, great price.....cleaning needs improvement immediately.

Absolutely loved my stay here. Great comfortable rooms with a charming lake view, and that lake park next to it just provides a touch of idyllic nature. I found myself sitting by the lake an extra hour after checking out just observing fish, turtles and birds that thrive around the area. Friendly, accommodating staff and a satisfying grab and go breakfast options in the morning.

We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of this location. We had recently stayed with a nearby competitor and were disappointed. Not that we were expecting less than stellar, but these days you never know which properties will prove to be less than memorable. The rooms were spotless and the staff were professional and pleasant. This location is highly recommended.

Absolutely one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Hotel was of course very clean and beautiful. The customer service was spectacular, from the lady who checked us in after midnight with such a pleasant helpful attitude to the young man working the breakfast counter. Great staff from the front desk personnel to the maid service. Everyone is very helpful, respectful, and attentive.There is a beautiful and serene view of Brooks Lake and a convenient path to the trail.The location is following and enforcing all safety protocols.Parking is free and right outside the hotel.The fire pit was easy to use and added to the relaxing environment.The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable.Overall, my family and I had a wonderful experience and would certainly recommend staying at this Courtyard Marriott.

Check in was a breeze. The entire place is clean and updated. The rooms are spacious and really comfortable. There were dozens of teens staying for local events and the place was surprisingly quiet. It was one of the quietest room Ive stayed in.

Great hotel, in a nice quiet location. The hotel has everything you need breakfast to gym. The staff are very friendly. There is also a lot of parking. There is also a ice machine here, since if you didnt know is actually very rare. Overall this a great place to stay when in Texas.

Went there for a birthday party. The place was peaceful and tranquil with the lake just yards away. Out back is where its at. I enjoyed the fireplace and the lake such a relaxing feeling I did not want to leave. The lobby is inviting with nice decor and very pleasant receptionists to greet you. I will be back to spend some time there. Come on spring/summer!!!.😊.

I stayed here using my points and asked for a quiet room with a view since the hotel advertises the lake surrounding it. I had just finished a long trip and just wanted a nice quiet room. The lady who checked me in told me the hotel was empty and did not talk much except to ask what brings us to the hotel. Otherwise she was quiet and not very friendly. I am a bonvoy member and usually get an upgrade with my status but was surprised that she put me in a room right next to the elevator on a lower 2nd floor with a view of the trashcan area and the hotel next door. No view of the lake. I was going to go downstairs and ask her but decided against it as i was tired and did not want to move again after a long journey. I did not expect that from this hotel after reading the reviews and that is why i chose this hotel. I would have wished she would have listened to my small requests and not done the opposite especially when the hotel was empty according to her. I will say that the room was spotless which was not the issue. Dont expect any bonvoy recognition here.

We just finished a 4 day stay here and it was awful. Ive been here on 4 other different occasions and each stay was slowly getting worse but this last stay wont have me returning. I came back after a appointment to my room and our whole room smelled of Marijuana along with the rest of the floor. They did give us a different room but after we switched the rest of the stay went down hill. Again we were here for 4 days with two children, I kept asking for room service to come in and change the sheets, new towels, and to remove the trash. I did this on two separate occasions and they never would come. I ended up calling down and having them bring me up new sheets so I could change the sheets myself since they refused to help. The other issue I had was getting ahold of someone at the front desk. I could take screen shots of how many times I would call down with no answer and no one was ever really at the front desk until the day I checked out. To top it off we had sugar ants in our room that got into my sons formula so I had to throw it away. Lastly our ac was on the fritz between working and not working and the remote to our TV was hard to use like the batteries were dying.We have to travel up here alot for medical but wont be staying here anymore

Paper thin walls. I could hear my neighbors fighting at one point l, which was oddly amplified in the rest room. Literally sounded like they were in the room with me. The hotel is clean and in a good location but cross your fingers for good neighbors.

This hotel is not noise free. We heared steps from others room, the water running in the showers, flush toilets, people talking in the others rooms. No housekeeping. No breakfasts.Excellent location and nice area.

Positive: New hotel, great location. Lots of outdoor space and common space. Negative: Pool was very small. Stayed 2 nights and no room service because of covid- were short on room items (tissues) and trash was not removed.

Lovely facility, but when I made our reservations, I was assured they were serving hot breakfasts with eggs, etc. Turns out they only have in room coffee makers, nothing more. We paid less for a Fairmont Inn, also a Marriott property, in The Woodlands, and got cold cereal, milk and juice w/ coffee last week.Also masks are still required, in spite of Governor Abbott’s decree this week.

The lady who checked me in was very short with me. She had just finished with another family and was very polite with them, explaining all the extra amenities, but I did not receive such service. She just handed me my key and told me where the elevator was. The next morning the lady working at the front desk had an attitude because I asked for coffee. I didnt realize the person who checks you in and touches dirty money, cards, and IDs also makes your coffee. She didnt wash or sanitize her hands either. The location is beautiful but I didnt get a room with a view of the lake...all I could see from my room was the Hyatt next door. First bad experience I have ever had at a Marriott hotel. After researching the area I found out it is near the site of the Sugarland 95. RIP to all the slaves who worked that land and were buried there. The land is cursed..

I expected a clean room but it was not. Towels had long hair on them also the pillows had hair on them, room was not cleaned it looked like they just folded dirty towels back in the bathroom and made the bed with dirty sheets from previous guests. With covid going on i though they cleaned the rooms better but I was wrong.

We stayed here for a surgery I was having at a local hospital, the Room and accommodations were excellent, very comfortable clean in more than I expected. The staff in all the employees that we came into contact with were more than happy to help us and do anything they can to make me more comfortable. The night before my surgery, of course I was going to be nervous we went for a dip in the pool and then sat next to the fire pit and just enjoy the scenery of the Lake and it was very relaxing and soothing. Upon arrival after my surgery the staff were more than happy and very quick to try to come up with ideas and accommodations to help me be more comfortable. We only live 45 minutes away but I would definitely come stay at this hotel again just for maybe a little get away. . We enjoyed our time here very much. We stay a little more than 2 weeks and it was great. Although I understood later that it was a business hotel, they did provide us enough to be comfortable with 2 adults and 3 kids. Very clean hotel in a great location that is quiet yet surrounded by a beautiful lake and close to food and stores.

My sister stayed at this hotel one night so we could meet up and then go to our appointments. We were very pleased with the large lobby and what the hotel offered. We had evening drinks on the patio overlooking the lake and it was so relaxing. The room was wonderful, the beds were wonderful and the fan offered white noise. This hotel is tucked away from traffic and it is so peaceful. We had a great nights sleep.

The hotel is new, chic and spotless. The service was awesome. The location is right on the lake and beautiful. The only down side was that there is no room service. But we ate at the hotel twice and we were pleased with the service and food. Im really picky about where I stay. I chose this hotel only because it was near the event we were attending but I was pleasantly surprised. It was a really nice part of Houston too.

I had a great stay with my preschooler at this hotel from start to finish. Very clean and bright decor, with a convenient location. We enjoyed walking by the lake in the evenings, especially with restaurants and a grocery store in walking distance. Quiet location compared to more central hotels. Staff was friendly, food was delicious. Bed and shower comfortable. Sufficient internet speed and tv channels, and microwave and refrigerator in suite. Would be my first choice hotel should we ever return to the area.

I only stayed at this hotel for one night and I am so glad that I did. I didnt necessarily want to stay in Houston so I chose this location. The hotel is still fairly new and you can still smell the newness in the hallways and immediately when you walk into the hotel room. The outside of the premises is beautiful as there is a lake on the backside that you can take a nice walk or jog around. There is ample amount of parking available. I also love the fact that this location has digital key which I utilized. It is so convenient as you can bypass the front desk and not have to worry about standing in line to check in and receive a key. The room is very spacious. The bed was super comfortable and there is plenty of charging spaces available in the room as well. I will definitely stay at this location again the next time I am in the area.

I had a wonderful stay in this hotel, the bed is always cleaned and well dressed, the room and the bathroom are always clean, they have a sofa, fridge, and microwave in the room. This is a place you can call home because its spacious and they have everything in the room to make you feel at home. There is a fountain at the back, they have chairs and tables set up there so you can chill. There is a bridge when you walk down by the fountain, once you cross that bridge you will see stores where you can shop and restaurants where you can eat.This is a beautiful place to stay but if you like staying in a hotel that is in the center of attraction then this is not a place for you.

We used to always stay at the Marriott Sugar Land Town Centre, which is also great, but for a couple with young kids this hotel was way better suited for us. We were able to book a large suite w/2 queen beds, a living space, and a sofa bed so we had tons of space to spread out and relax. The price was great. Enjoyed having access to a gym and pool (albeit very tiny pool), and the design of the hotel was great. Also appreciated parking out front of the hotel that was easy and no charge. WiFi was quick and stayed connected well. We even had a view outside of our room! Could see turtles swimming in the water. We also really liked walking across the bridge to restaurants nearby. Also easy access to getting off/on HWY. Lots of pros to staying here!

Carmen at the front desk is incredible, she made my stay the BEST I have ever had at any hotel establishment ever. I have never been so taken care of, welcome and completely at ease like the staff here made me feel. I will be back and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an exceptional experience.

The best stay ever! Clean hotel and a relaxing area tucked away by a small lake. It’s my go to hotel. Whether I’m doing a staycation or a small gathering for my daughters bday slumber party or my sons teenage kickback. It’s the best place.

When we first arrived, we were very impressed with the location, very nice area on dead end road, no through traffic, very quiet. The rear of the hotel was great! Nice patio area with very comfy chairs over looking a lake, very relaxing. The hotel staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Our room was very clean and the decor was very modern. Only complaint I have is the beds were not comfortable ( stayed in other locations where beds were very comfortable) over all our stay was very pleasant. I would recommend this location.

It was one of the most enjoyable hotel stays we have had. We celebrated our 45th Anniversary and just wanted to get away from Houston without a long drive or having to fly somewhere. Just a few days to ourselves to relax and enjoy ourselves. Marriott as usual provided excellence in service and hotel room. My husband has stayed at Marriott for years while travelling for work and for leisure. As his wife, I have had the pleasure to enjoy a stay at Marriott as well. Never disappointed!

Great place to stay! This courtyard is in a great tucked away area, very relaxing and within walking distance to several restaurants. The rooms and bed are always clean and comfortable. I have had minor issues with the AC/heat in a couple rooms and the staff is friendly if a little sparse at times. This still remains my go to hotel in Sugarland.

November me and my husband stayed 7 days Thanksgiving holidays. The hotel is beautiful clean. Front desk person was polite helpful very friendly. Food was awesome. They also have a Starbucks on the property. My husband went to the gym. We will be back really soon. Nice comfortable beds love the walk in shower. 5 star hotel. Put a do not disturb sign on our door one day. Later that evening took it off. The housekeeper was knocking checking to see if we need our room clean. Love this hotel.

Andy Harris is so helpful and amazing! Every time I have to book a hotel for my company and he has helped me, it has been nothing but quick and efficient. He doesnt waste time transferring you to other people and then youre on the line waiting for what seems for ever, he helps you with your needs and the call is no more than like 5 minutes. Beautiful outside views!

My high school swim team traveled to the area to compete in a swim meet. The hotel was in a perfect location close to the high school and an abundance of restaurants and stores. The scenery was magnificent. The customer service was impeccable. The hotel was clean and aesthetically pleasing. My athletes and their parents enjoyed the stay.

Parking was easy. Room was large. Shower was great. Bed and pillows were great. Can’t say enough about the location on the waterway with walking path!

Great Sugar Land, TX location. Very clean hotel with new feel and nice rooms. Location is friendly to walking around - outdoor patio with furniture to lounge, long outside walkway along water if weather is nice, close pedestrian only footbridge that takes you to restaurants, Torchys Tacos and Whole Foods. Location is also convenient for events at the Smart Financial Center.

The Lady at the front office was very rude. Bad service over all!!! The Hyat right behind it had amazing service we stayed at the Hyat for our two fallowing nights in Houston.

The hotel is easy to navigate. Staff friendly. Rooms are comfortable and kept super clean. Great for a business trip. Location is nice too, so many things nearby.

We usually love Courtyard hotels. Gave this hotel a 2nd chance but we were still disappointed. The rooms were small, there were not any good choices for breakfast, and we had to clean the bathroom floor both times I stayed. (Very sticky) The pool is tiny but looked dirty. My son did not want to swim and he has been swimming since April. Work equipment was laying around the hotel. Trash cans were full at entrance. We had late checkout with a do not disturb on the door and housekeeping knocked on our door 4 times. We will not be staying at this location again. The lake/river was nice to walk around but not a good enough reason to stay here again.

This was the second time my wife and I had stayed at this Courtyard Marriott location. Both stays were planned so we could rest and get a good nights sleep near St Luke’s Hospital were I was scheduled to have surgery the next morning. Our first stay on 4/17/19 was a pleasant experience. The room was clean and comfortable and we were able to get plenty of rest prior to my early morning surgery. Our next stay on 7/29/19 was just the opposite. The bathroom floor and commode had several long 12-14 inches black hairs laying around that I cleaned up. We killed two earwigs crawling on the floor during the night. The bathroom door was dragging so tight against the threshold that we could not close it. While taking a shower the water leaked out on the floor at the bottom of the glass shower door creating a large puddle that we dried up. But the worst part of this visit was being awakened at 1:00 am by kids bouncing what sounded like a baseball bouncing off the floor and walls, hollering out and laughing. By the time I was fully awake and went down to the lobby to ask for help to get the noise stopped there was no one working the desk. I sat in the lobby reading until 3:30 am and never saw anyone to ask for help. After two blurry eyed people showered and left for the hospital as I walked past the front desk the young lady working smiled and ask did you enjoy your stay. I stated to her that no ma’am I was awakened at 1:00 am by kids playing loudly and bouncing a ball to which she replied (and this is not a joke) “have a nice day”.

We stayed one night at this relatively new hotel. It is quiet and the rooms are very nice and comfortable. The bed was super comfortable as well. The staff was friendly and helpful. It is conveniently located near restaurants and shopping. Highly recommend!

The Houston Association of Sea Kayakers held its 2019 club picnic on Brooks Lake behind the Marriott this weekend. The Marriott catered part of the food and allowed us to use parking and some other facilities. The hotel management and staff were instrumental in helping us produce a comfortable and enjoyable event. Many of our guests and visitors were favorably impressed. We also noticed a couple of beautiful wedding events occurring there at the same time.

Quiet modern hotel with excellent staff. Rooms and hotel were clean and well kept. Very nice fitness center and outdoor 3 mile running train next to a river area. Would definitely recommend. There is a nice area of restaurants and bars about 3 miles away (City Plaza). There is a Marriott there as well...and I may recommend that for families and couples if theyre looking for excitement But, Lake pointe is a nice quiet place for anyone.

Wow what a find. This hotel is tucked in behind a little lake/office park. Very convenient to Highway 6 and US 59/I-69. Very modern inside and the staff are fantastic, lead by the GM Andy Harris. Plenty of complimentary parking. They have a beautiful outside sitting area overlooking the lake with great sitting options. Inside lobby is well designed with lots of seats and transitions nicely from the bar area to restaurant area to sitting area. Great place for groups to meet, greet and congregate. Enjoy!
