The staff, from the manager down, is extremely rude and act like they do not like working there. Managers name as of right now is Becky, and she and her staff have ugly personalities and should not be taking care of anyones community.

My review on Facebook got disappeared since they disabled the REVIEW on Facebook cause a lot of bad reviews there but it’s ok. I’ll rewrite it here.They just ignored you and never respond to emails or any concerns you need from them. We are shopping for new HOA management company. The neighbors are together. One of the main reason is that POOR communication (LACK of Communication). I believe Kari is the manager and when you need something, Kari is “out of office” or busy. And never heard back and get ignored lol.

These people only know how to collect money from you and a total failure at everything else. Be ware any homeowners looking to purchase in any areas managed by these leeches.They told us that our driveway was dirty so we had it washed, but they went and charge us the violation fee anyway. We disputed and the account manager (Jenn) said it will be taken care of and we dont have to pay, but 4 months later they reported it as a delinquency fee to the credit bureau, causing our credit score to dropped, and also charge us $25 for the reporting. We paid the fees so we wont be reported again and called the account manager (Jenn). She said she will take care of it and we will be reimburse, but on the 1st of August, they reported us again to the credit bureau and charge us another $25 dollars for the report.We also applied to have a shed put in our backyard, they approved the application so we had the shed built and placed. A month later they said we need to move the shed to another location because they did not know that our house back up to the lake and we did not tell them that. Why would we have to tell them that our house back up to the lake? There is no place on their application form that ask that, are we suppose to write on the side of the form that our house back up to the lake? Now they are charging us deed violation fine because our approved shed is unapproved.

She was quick to respond and even though she did not have all of the answers to my questions right off the bat, she took the time to find the information for me and didn’t pass me off to anyone like a lot of companies tend to do. Horrible. I have owned my property since new. Sterling took over, changed vendors, now their lawn crews feels it ok to butcher our side yard and spray with weed killer. Granted we live on a corner lot, but its my yard. Have contacted them 3 times. Their answer is there is nothing they can do because its the lawn company....they refuse to give contact info and are HORRIBLE with their customer service and communication skills. Apparently they do not understand they exist solely because of homeowners. Clearly their lack of ability to manage. Just hope you dont need to call them for assistance.

Dishonest manager, terrible experience. I am a resident of a community that Sterling manages. Last Sunday night, I entered the communitys parking lot driving a new car I just bought a week ago. I scanned the fob and while I was driving through, the iron bar came down and scrape the top of my car. The paint marks could be wiped off but there are 7-8 small dents. I sent an email to the management immediately. The next day I had a series of frustrating communications with the manager. I am quite shocked by the messages that the manager sent. He said I have reviewed the video from Sunday, July 16, from 8:55pm until 9:45pm and there were no vehicles entering or exiting through the gates. There were two individuals exiting the Xxxx Central Building (9:21pm), but did not exit the entrance/exit and two Tennis Players exited the front entrance/exit on foot at 9:40pm. But no vehicular traffic used the entrance/exit from 8:55pm until 9:45pm. It is clearly a dishonest remark since I know for sure the system records entries. And I know the two tennis players who walked out the front exit. - I went to play with them and a few other players who stayed in the tennis court until 10:50. It means the video must have recorded my entry 30 minutes before they left. If no video was recorded, it is one thing. It is another to say that the video does not show that my car entered the gate. This is dishonesty. Good news is that I have a few witnesses and photos.The manager then insisted that owners use the facility at their own risks. I have repeatedly requested a meeting with him and disclosure of the video or record of my entries to the parking lot and the facility, I have also provided my cell phone number and offered to discuss over the phone, The manager not only refused to answer whether he has found the video and fob entries record or not, but also refused to meet or call to discuss the safety issue of the gate barrier. He then told me he wont respond to my email again. The gate barrier had quite a few accidents before and the solution of the management is to install an IRON PIPE to replace the wooden bar we used to have, and there is NO sensor to hold the bar while a car is driving.

I have been attempting to get repairs completed by this association for over a year. They continually say they will address my landscape issues; however, to this day it just keeps getting worse. They are in business for themselves NOT their clients. I wish I could give a no star for all the stress they have caused our family life.

Is there a way to give zero star to Sterling ASI? Telfair members are suffering because of Sterling ASIs mismanagement and miscommunication. Company and what appears to be some of the HOA representatives with special interest such as realtor or other kickbacks regularly miscommunicate and misguide. Telfair Facebook page is full of examples popping up everyday. Meetings are now conducted week days afternoon to avoid representation from working community. When some of the representatives discuss about sharing information these folks do not want to share with community. Normally office should be accessible during business hours, but Sterling has setup office such that you need fob (privileged access for community members only) to get in. If you do not have access or want to visit or ask questions as potential buyer they do not open door and will not answer questions. Avoid dealing with Sterling ASI.

Representatives from Sterling are careless and dishonest. In telfair community service is so bad that Sterling does not even respond to repeated requests for information from HOA representatives. One individual went as far as providing inaccurate information and bullying people. Stay away from communities using Serling..

Scam HOA - these guys are awful. They will refer you to their partner companies to pay fees that are not outlined in their documents, and nobody there knows what is going on. Stay away from any community that uses these guys as their HOA. They can barely keep the community kept up.
