We had thirteen windows replaced in our home in December, 2020. From the beginning, Nansemond Exteriors was pleasant to work with. No high pressure sales, straightforward information was provided by Nick Honeycutt. His recommendations provided a superb look inside and out. The installation team was on time and friendly. They worked efficiently and left no mess behind. The windows are beautiful and the interior frame matched our stained woodwork perfectly. We highly recommend them for new windows!

Nansemond Exteriors replaced our wooden trim with vinyl and did a great job. Here it is 2021 and the vinyl is still in great shape.

I wanted to give a big shout-out to Nick Hunneycutt and Nansemond Exteriors for great customer service. Nansemond Exteriors installed windows and trim 9 1/2 years ago and on the front windows facing southeast, the PVC coating on the trim started to peel off. Nick happened to be going by one day and noticed the trim peeling. He sought me out to tell me that he was going to send a crew over to replace it all. A week or so later, even in this busy season, there was an opening and Tim and Kerry arrived and replaced the trim around all the front windows. A great job and a big thanks to Nick and Nansemond Exteriors.

Nansemond provided a straight forward estimate for window replacement with no hidden fees and happened to be the lowest price out of all the estimates for the work. They also did a great job on the installation. The guys at Nansemond took the time to do the job right and make sure my windows looked great. They were also very friendly and did their best to keep my home clean. They did a great job keeping the interior clean. I did have to do some clean up in the yard. We just had Nansemond Exteriors put a new roof and siding on our house. First, the salesmanship was simple and to the point. Not like others were I felt like I was being pressured to buy a timeshare. Reason being is they sell great products at reasonable prices. Second, the work crews were professional, polite and skilled. Great customer service from start to finish. I highly recommend this company.

While ultimately we did not go with Nansemond Exteriors, I did want to say that their customer service was excellent. They promptly set up an appointment. Mr. Huneycutt called to ask if he could come early than the appointed time (some just show up unexpectedly) and he gave a detailed, informative presentation that actually helped me better evaluate other offers. I will contact them for future work on my house.

Totally satisfied with the work performed. They installed a new roof (lifetime warranty), new siding with built in insulation and new rails and columns on my front porch. They do excellent work and use top quality products.

My experience with Nansemond Exteriors has been nothing short of fantastic. They recently installed nearly 30 new windows; repaired and wrapped my fascia, frieze, and rake boards; covered my soffit system, and replaced my old gutters with seamless gutters and downspouts. All of their products are high quality and their prices are very fair. When Fairren came to my house to discuss the job and what I wanted to have done, he spent as much time as I needed to answer questions and make recommendations. In fact, he saved me thousands of dollars by not selling me a number of windows that were not needed... and he could easily have sold me those windows. I cannot say the same for the four or five other contractors who gave me estimates. What I LIKE about Nansemond Exteriors is that they do not engage in any high-pressure sales gimmicks; they do not call repeatedly with yet another “no obligation” offer; they treat customers with respect. What I LOVE about Nansemond Exteriors is that their window installation team has been together for over 20 years – that says a lot about their work ethic, their skill, and their loyalty. It also says a lot about Nansemond Exteriors as an employer. Before we contacted anybody about installing replacement windows, we did lots of research on the brands of window. We looked at windows at home shows and home tours; we read professional reviews as well as customer reviews. Lots of people are happy with lots of different brands. What we learned is that installation is the key; a good window installed wrong results in unhappy customers. We have beautiful windows installed right by careful professionals who take pride in their work. When it’s time to replace our roof, we will definitely call Nansemond Exteriors.

I chose Sunrise brand windows and they arent inexpensive, but include a transferrable lifetime warranty backed up by Nansemond Exteriors lifetime labor guarantee.Their installers (not subcontractors) David and Carey have worked for Nansemond Exteriors for 30 years and did a top notch installation of my windows. The owner Faron and his son Nick were involved off and on throughout the the day and a half required for the install.I got the product I wanted, quality installation, a fair price, and an overall good feeling that I had made the right choice with Nansemond Exteriors.If you knew me youd know that the fact that I took the time to write this speaks volumes. These guys do their job and I ended up with the highest quality and best looking windows in my neighborhood.Great job guys!!!!!

Had my windows replaced in 2009 by these folks, best investment ever. The quality of the windows combined with the installation and our continued enjoyment of cool rooms, home improvement, and general happiness of a good investment, can not be understated.

We had a problem with a screen and we had to fix it ourselves because they never came back. Then a window lost its vacuum and it took them 15 MONTHS to finally get a check from the manufacturer but they never told us if were supposed to have it fixed or if they will fix it. Now were waiting to hear back from them.UPDATE: Binswanger glass did finally come to replace the window, but it took a very long time and lots of phone calls. In the end the company did stand behind the product.
