My son seems to enjoy breaking the displays on his Google Pixel and I have used this uBreakiFix location multiple times. They are an authorized repair center for Samsung and Google so you are able to get genuine parts and not aftermarket stuff that does not always perform at the same level. The staff here have been great and repairs are typically done within a couple hours. Outside of the interesting company name, they do a great job! Definitely recommend checking them out.

PART1: I took my iPhone 8 to uBreakiFix last Monday (July, 11, 2021) to replace the battery. They said that it can be replaced within 2 hours normally. As a result, they broke my charging socket and tried to demand a low price for me to pay. As a result, I reasoned with them that it was their problem and they should be responsible. I only paid for the replacement battery. So they told me to pick it up the next day (July, 12, 2021) and lent me an IPHONE with a badly damaged shell and no protective shell as a temporary phone for me to use. At the moment, I asked them why the phone is damaged, why don’t you give me a protective case? They said they did not have a protective case and they knew that the temporary phone was damaged. Because I needed a temporary cell phone and they didnt have any other relatively intact cell phone to lend me, so I accepted it. The next day, I brought my mobile phone to their store again and asked them whether my mobile phone was repaired? They said that they changed a new charging port, but still can’t charge. It may be a problem with the circuit board. They need to mail my phone for maintenance, and it will take Friday (July, 16, 2021) to fix it at the earliest. I was not very happy when I heard the news, but I had no choice but to wait. I called again on Friday to ask if it has been repaired. They said it might be Saturday (July, 17, 2021) or even next Monday (July, 19, 2021). I told them to call me when the repairs are done. It was not until Tuesday (July, 20, 2021) that I received a call from them saying that my phone was fixed. Around 2:30 in the afternoon, I retrieved the phone. They gave me a discount and only charged me about $50.

Excellent service and experience!!Took my sons phone in because the charger port was done for. Was tempted to just by another one but AT&T referred us here first since we didnt have insuranceon it. After getting there I was told it would be about $60 to fix and take a few days to get the part. I went to pick it up and was getting ready to pay to find out the warranty covered it so no charge. What a great surprise!! Very happy customer indeed!!!

My three year-old phone needed a new battery. When they first discovered that the battery they ordered was defective, they said they would need to keep my phone overnight to order another one. However, they then worked to find another battery from one of their other locations and had me back to functionality within 2 hours. Their technicians were pleasant and completely helpful. I recommend them completely!

Only location locally to support Samsung Care and Manufacturer warranties and I definitely think Samsung should drop them!!!! The fact that they tried to scam me out of $318 I believe the quote was because they refused to honor my Samsung warranty that Samsung themselves sent me to them for. The black girl looked at my phone from ebt angle possible. Feeling it up n down (checking for damage as fault by me) said yeah no damage it looks good to go and should be finished in a day. She then took my phone behind the counter in the back room about 3 times to some men who were back there and then came back out n told me because of a mark in my picture on my screen within the phone. Samsung wouldnt honor my warranty because it appears that I damaged my phone therefore they have to charge me and not go thru it. After I told them several times I didnt drop my phone. And the policy that Samsung states your warranty would be honored. Not to mention the screen damage they claim i caused would have clearly caused a scratch/ crack or something if i did indeed drop it. After speaking with Samsung again after leaving them upset... Samsung reiterated their policy to me. * No scratch, physical damage or water damage to the phone the warranty is honored!!!!! * These people refused to honor that and told me Ill have to pay out of pocket to fix it. So I Sent the phone to Samsung directly and guess what. They honored it! No charge to fix it, ship it or anything! I tried to go here being that it was a huge inconvenience having to go without a business phone for days and having to switch phones but Im glad I didnt just pay them. This is just a warning to anyone going thru the same thing. Just send it to Samsung. They are a rip off!!!!!!!!

Held my device for over 30 days without ordering the part that was authorized by me on day one. Had to pick it up on day 33 since no one could give me any info about the repair status whenever I called. They offered no apology or explanation but did say they needed to order a part. Do you mean the part that I asked you to order on day one?Well, actually no! Moving on.

They are withholding workers pay checks, even after one of the workers had a death in the family. It is absolutely ridiculous!!! They stole 800 dollars from one of their workers. They should be paying their workers the wages they were promised but instead they take advantage of them and then leave them to rot after their family died. Never going here again. Disgusted!!

Took my Galaxy Note20 Ultra in today for a cracked/shattered screen. They took care of it pretty quick! There were a couple people ahead of me but even still it was only about 2 1/2 hours. My phone screen looks brand new and everything works perfectly and they have a 90 day warranty. Customer service is top notch- highly recommend uBreakiFix.

They were not able to repair my bluray but did not charge me to trouble shoot. They were able to extract the CD that the machine tried to eat.

When the home button of my iPhone 8 cracked, I was expecting the repair to cost a hundred dollars or more because that’s just how apple products seem to work these days. Michael at the Suffolk location of uBreakiFix helped me and initially quoted me half of that, which was an awesome surprise. Then, when they were able to fix my home button cosmetically but not functionally, he cut the price down more (to about $20), even though he had already warned me that I may not be leaving with a functional home button before they started the work in the first place. My experience at this location was amazing and went way smoother than I expected. The folks here seem to be running their business with integrity, and I’ll definitely be coming back if I’m in need of repairs again! Thanks guys!

I had an appointment for a destroyed screen later in the afternoon but I found myself over by the store a few hours earlier than planned so I went on in and they took my phone right away and told me it would be about an hour so I ran around for a little bit and came back about 45 minutes later and they brought my phone right out! They were very nice and very quick. They stuck to their word on time and the price was cheaper than anywhere else I had looked! Very pleased with my experience and will definitely be going back if I break my screen again!

Fantastic service. Replaced the battery in my iPhone in less than an hour and correctly diagnosed my faulty charging port as having some dirt down in it which saved me time and money not having to replace. Geek Squad told me I needed a battery and charging port and would have to be sent to Apple for the work which would cost several hundred. They also told me I was better off checking with a local shop. UBreakIFix got me straight in less than an hour for under $100. Everyone I dealt with was very friendly and helpful. Phone presses different buttons and Siri no longer works, they keep blaming it on my screen that is cracked but it is an aftermarket screen that they have replaced and the same effect. I personally don’t have time from work to keep going to this place so sorry I’m out.

The Service was quick. The people were helpful and knowledgeable. The made money saving suggestions. I could not be happier with their work. It saved me from the expense of a new phone at nearly ten times the cost of the reair and my phone works better than when it was new. I didnt have to deal with the hassles of transferring all of the data.

I took in an I Pad to have the screen replaced. Cost about $200.00 to have it done. Was told 24 to 48 hours actually closer to 4 days. Not super impressed but not upset either just middle of the road. Staff seems nice anyway!

I called to get my iphone 8 screen replaced. The women then told me that i need to turn off my apple location? Like what does that have to do with fixing my screen? I came in one Saturday around 1:30 and I already paid through my insurance for the fix before they even opened and apparently they were so jam packed told me to set an appointment for the next day at 12pm. (I also live an hour away) So, I come back the next day at approximately 12:02pm and two people walked in ahead of me (assuming they were walk-ins and they wouldn’t schedule 3 people for 12pm), they tell me it would be 1-1 1/2 hour fix, I don’t get a call that it’s ready until 4pm. Even though I had an appointment and have already paid ahead of time. I would say they are very unorganized and don’t take into consideration what other people have going on. I’m currently 28 weeks pregnant with a 16 month old and don’t have time to be waiting around all day or making long trips for this kind of service.

My phone got repaired within a few hours and was able to to pick it up the same day. I also was able to let her know about a clicking sound that my screen made and she found out that adhesive was missing when it got fixed from a previous claim. Was having trouble with my iPhone 6S, battery draining. Katie was very honest and hesitant about replacing the battery based on the battery health of 92% which I appreciate the honesty. I explained I had my old 6S, which apple had replaced the battery in because of of issues with 6s battery. So today after trying many things to keep my battery draining and with no success, I took both my iPhone 6s phones in and Katie swapped batteries between my old 16g and my current 32g for a nominal charge. My Galaxy S10 screen was demolished when it fell off my car. I took it into uBreakiFix and was very pleased with their customer service. The folks I talked to were so nice, knowledgeable and fast. They had my phone looking brand new in under 2 hours. I highly recommend them!

I would only recommend this place if you cant get to another location to get your phone repaired. I dropped my phone off at 4:01 and was told it would be ready around 6. I called at 6 and was told that the phone was in the testing stage and that it would be ready when I arrived because I had a 20 min drive. When I arrived they were still testing the phone. So I left, got food and ate it at the restaurant. When I came back they said I needed a new lcd screen so they had to open the phone again. Sometime later I was informed that they forgot to connect the screen before closing the phone and the screen was good to go. I sat inside for another hour before I was handed my phone (due to testing). The store closed at 7 and I didnt leave there until 730. The technician was friendly and communicated with me throughout the whole process. In the end I did get my screen fixed and it is working fine so far but I would only recommend this place under extreme circumstances if you value your time.

My touch screen was completely shattered and did not work at all, and the back was also cracked too. I had previously inquired into Batteries+Bulbs(highly recommend you dont get any phone repairs done there). After a failed attempt at fixing my phone there due to a dent on the outside of my phone right on top of the SIM card slot jamming it closed, I took a look at uBreakiFix. I must say I am thoroughly impressed. They were able to pop the dented SIM card tray from the inside and completely restored my phone to pretty much fresh-out-of-the-box condition. Great customer service, and the guy Mason there knows what hes doing.

Poor service. Incompetant. I took my Pixel 4xl here because it was the closest to my house, but still a 40 minute drive. I described the problem as being related to the battery. The phone would not indicate a charge lower than 50% and would shut down frequently when power was at the 50% level. I wiped my phone and left it to be analyzed. The next afternoon I was called and told that they couldnt reproduce the problem. That they had run the battery down and the issue I experienced must have been the result of an application misbehaving. I requested that they try to run the battery down further and they agreed to keep it for one more day. The next day I was called and told theyd run the battery below 20% so I retrieved my phone. The next morning I powered up the phone and it was at 50% I ran an hour of YouTube and then closed the app and put it in my pocket. The battery still indicated 50%. After 5 minutes I pulled the phone from my pocket and found that it had powered down. I restarted it and it still indicated 50%. It shut down on its own after being set down on the table. This problem was exactly the symptom I described to the technician. Since the phone is under warranty and Ubreakifix is the authorized Google repair company Ill be taking my phone to one of the Virginia Beach locations. This one seems to only deal with physical damage and are apparently unable to listen to their customers.
