They made time to carve out a day way before the start date of my major kitchen overhaul to create a door between my kitchen and laundry room (a total game changer for new parents).Once the project was fully underway our main guys were Kevin, Sabre, and Steven. Mario was our electrician and he is a delight and a professional. They were polite, funny, efficient, and effective in their work. If you have this team you will be thrilled. Though the project went about a week over, we stayed pretty much on budget. Everyone worked with me and my husband to keep our budget reasonable and to make out project look FAR more expensive than it was. The finishing is impeccable and I know this kitchen is perfectly structurally sound, the electric is on point, and nothing will ever leak.I highly, highly recommend this company.

Ive been working with Caleb and his crew for about 2 months. I am in the process of doing a major kitchen remodel. I have a special needs son and we are working to make the kitchen more accessible for him. Caleb and Brian have worked closely with me to pick great products and to get good prices on them. Caleb has carted me around multiple cities to look at samples and to get ideas. He is so pleasant and upbeat and funny! It has been a pleasure hunting for the right product. Brian is always sweet and on top of things whenever I need anything from him or have any questions. They helped me pig out perfect cabinets and counters and flooring and its going to be awesome. Yesterday was day 1 of construction. The guys that showed up were friendly, pleasant, polite, and you could tell they were really concerned about making sure its done right. Its a big undertaking and we are staying in the home while it happens and they were stellar at helping me get things moved and covered. This process has been very pleasant so far and I am very relaxed and excited as we move forward with the project. I highly recommend this company if you are doing anything in your house. Kitchen remodel by Tidewater ProBuildAfter many meetings with contractors I chose to hire Tidewater ProBuild to remodel my kitchen. I found companies who offered me a cheaper bid at least it appeared so but as I asked questions it was clear the initial bid was a guesstimate one that would change with the details. All the companies subcontracted out a good deal of the work, this concerned me because it would mean several companies coordinating their schedules to get my remodel completed.Tidewater ProBuild has their own specialist inhouse. The other significant difference was the contract with Tidewater ProBuild was all inclusive. Initially I was overwhelmed with the information I was given and met with Trey twice for several hours just to review the information in the contract and to develop a picture of what I hoped my kitchen would look like when the work was complete. Trey used the computer program to show me how my kitchen would look, and he made changes until it was exactly what I wanted. I changed a few more times even after the remodel was started and he patiently made the changes. Trey, Caleb and Kevin all very experienced in remodels checked in with me each day keeping me apprised of what to expect the next day. They answered my questions and offered creative suggestions throughout the entire process.I now have a kitchen I love, and the job was done on time and slightly under my original budget. I got everything and more than what was promised in the contract. I am happy to talk with anyone about my experience and have let Trey know he can feel free to use me as a reference.The employees of the Tidewater ProBuild were all helpful; they never acted frustrated or hurried when I would stop and ask questions. I had a custom shower start leaking and did not know who to hire to get it redone. I did some research and found Tidewater Pro Build. I have nothing but good things to say about them. Caleb went above and beyond to make things right. He even put boots on my roof vents because he noticed some water discoloration in my bathroom ceiling. The team at Tidewater ProBuild are great, and their work is second to none. They were very responsive throughout the whole process, which took about 7 weeks. We had a complete master bathroom remodel done and it was great. We had our moments of doubt (since we were asking a lot of them), but Trey and Caleb (and Kevin) pulled off an amazing job. It really exceeded our expectations. Their team of guys are true professionals and perfectionists, especially with the tile (thanks Saber). Id recommend them for any project you are doing, and they will be my first call for any future work.

I have used Tidewater Pro Build for many projects on my house in Williamsburg. Before I bought the house, Trey and his team had remodeled the kitchen, and I was so impressed that I hired them to replace the roofing and siding. Outstanding job!! Then I hired them to gut and remodel the three bathrooms in the house. Another outstanding job, and the bathrooms are absolutely beautiful! Trey and his team made a number of recommendations that worked perfectly to make the most efficient use of odd space in the bathrooms. The quality of their work and their attention to detail and finishing touches were excellent. Finally, they recently put in a new joint driveway between my house and the neighbors with a unique divider in the middle. Very functional and physically appealing. I give the company a 5-star rating and highly recommend them for any construction project.

We live in the Chesapeake area and have had Trey work on three separate projects. He has done outside work to the finishing touches on our bathroom. Without a doubt, Trey is skilled in his craft, diligent in his work ethic, and has very good taste. Not to mention, Trey understands people. He was able to listen to our requests and interpret that message into excellent craftsmanship. Trey and his team remodeled my two bathrooms almost two years ago.When I decided to remodel the kitchen, they were the first people I thought of. I knew what to expect and they did not disappoint.Trey worked with me to come up with a design for the kitchen and pricing that was more to my liking. He and Kevin made it easy for me to select cabinets, counter tops, flooring etc. by bringing samples to get an idea of what I wanted, rather than me having to travel from store to store to pick everything out. I did some looking to get an idea of hardware, backsplash, etc., but they did all the shopping. If they thought something wouldnt work, they told me, but there was no pressure.The thing that sets TPB apart is their attention to detail. They do the little things that I dont think anyone else would do. For example, they cut my speaker wire and ran it though the attic and down a corner to hide it behind wall trim. Much better than having it run along the baseboard.The main worker bees were Kevin (lead) and Stephen. They were prompt and pleasant and it was a pleasure to have them working here. Mario, the electrician, was here several days to rewire and bring everything up to code. Great people, great job.

My wife and I are very, very pleased with Tidewater Pro Build’s remodel of our master bathroom, and we are not the easiest customers to please. We had discussed a remodeling project for several years but it became a necessity when our master bathroom shower developed a leak that started to stain and drip through the ceiling of the room below it. After two different plumbers could not find the source of the leak, we knew something drastic had to happen, and that is where Tidewater Pro Build comes in. I called and left messages with several contractors and posted inquiries on several contractor websites. A few of them ignored my requests. One contractor said that most of his men lived in Virginia Beach and would not want to drive as far as Suffolk for a job. Tidewater Pro Build responded to my website inquiry in the middle of a Sunday morning. Frank, the Sales Manager said that when he saw that we were having a leak through the ceiling, he knew the job was urgent and wanted to make contact as soon as possible. Frank met with us later that day and just a day or two later, Tidewater Pro Build was at our house to troubleshoot. They had to take down the drywall around the shower to find the leak, but once it was isolated and the living room ceiling dried out, they did a beautiful job in repairing and painting the ceiling. We did a total makeover of the bathroom. Frank made some design recommendations during the initial walk-through planning. We met with Trey and Brian to develop our design and lay out our plans. Along the way, Trey made several very helpful suggestions that kept our supply costs under better control. He recommended strongly that we stick with one line of plumbing fixtures to ensure that the finishes matched throughout the room. Trey offered a very creative solution to our problem of where in the bathroom to relocate the linen cabinet. The demolition phase went very quickly. The rebuilding phase proceeded much more slowly, as they predicted it would. Quality work takes time. We needed the job completed by a wedding-date deadline, before out-of-town family started to arrive. And even though, about a week before the deadline, it looked like the project would not be finished, we had a fully functional master bathroom in time for the wedding. It was not a rushed patch-job to get the project finished; the last phases of the job were done as carefully and with as much craftsmanship as the earliest. There were a few touch-up items that needed to be addressed after the wedding and those were done on schedule. When we found a few more add-on punch list items we wanted fixed, Tidewater Pro Build did not hesitate to come to our house and correct them promptly. Sales Manager Frank even came out to inspect the project when it was completed to ensure our satisfaction. This is the kind of customer service anyone would want from their home contractor. We now have a beautiful, designer-quality, custom master bathroom that is one of the prettiest rooms in the house and one of the nicest you will ever see. I will forward photographs to Tidewater Pro Build to post on their Facebook page when we have all the furnishings and décor in place. There are a few already.
