I had to get my front end aligned and my car inspected. The service was very fast. I also had to get a serpentine belt. VERY reasonably priced!! Would definitely recommend Suffolk Alignment!!

I stopped by on May 31, to do wheel alignment, 1st phone call I got they tell me that I have a wheel bearing broken needs replacement, I said ok. 30 minutes later they call me again for the 2nd time, that the other bearing should be replaced, I said ok, pick up the car steering wheel not straighten as I requested,Then they tell me I should change my suspension!!! I see where this is going.$$$$I asked for the wheel alignment adjustment print out, and they said they dont have a copy.!!!! That is odd NO report or print out of something you just did???!!!A. Did Suffolk Alignment did or didnt do the job that I paid for??!!B. Steering wheel was not straighten as I requested...Honesty, and trustworthy shop is very important for a new client looking for a great mechanic.June 8 return to the shop, redo alignment because the service technician stated that it was not saved on the computer, and they will do the job again !!!!! Total ticket $529.

My first experience with Suffolk Alignment was awesome. They were more than pleasant, informative and professional. They gave me an estimate but said it could possibly be higher once they got in and checked it out. I gave them the okay to proceed. It ended up being much less. Top quality work. As I am clueless about cars it would have been so easy to charge the higher price and Id never be the wiser. They could have easily ripped me off. These guys have integrity. I wouldnt dream of taking my car any where else!

I am so glad I have found this place! I wanted an easy in and out state inspection with no pressure to fix this or that (unnecessary work). In the last month I have brought both of my vehicles there (made an appointment for both) and was finished in less than an hour. They do all kinds of vehicle maintenance and repair and in the future I will take my cars there when they need work.Dont hesitate, give them a try!

I took my van in for state inspection and an oil change. The staff was very friendly and not the least but shady as you usually experience at other car service shops. They got the work done a lot faster than I had anticipated and were excellent at communicating status of my vehicle. I will definitely be taking my vehicle back in the future.

Good enough. Close to home and friendly staff if approached properly. What does that mean? Figure it out. They did fail my safety inspection, but it was a fair cop.

They were fast and accurate. I took it in for an alignment. They shared with me that my struts on my passenger side are bent out. They alignmend it. I took it back home and on the way home I felt it was not spec. I called them back and they took right in no problem. And got it to perfection. These guys stand behind there work and I highly recommend.

I had my car towed too them on Monday afternoon they replaced the starter and did a 3000 mile service. The car was ready to go on Wednesday. Great work, fair price I would definitely recommend this repair shop.

These guys are the best, from the youngest mechanic to the parts writer and the manager! I have had my car worked on many times and they all have my complete trust that my best interest will be looked out for! They have always made sure I was happy.August 10, 2020, I lost power steering on my car. I took it to Suffolk Alignment to have it checked out because that has become where I take my car to be worked on for everything because of the very personal services and the quality service I get from the mechanic for the last several years. I talked with Gary, the owner, and Colin, the mechanic, about this problem. They knew that I had taken it to the dealership about this time last year for the same problem. They suggested for me to take it back to the dealer and get them to check it out because there might be an available warranty, otherwise it would be an expensive repair. How many shops would tell you that and possibly send work away? Colin advised me to not agree to anything, get an estimate and bring it back to him if no warranty was available. I did. We looked at what needed to be done based on his findings, discussed it, and I decided it was better for me to let Colin do the work. I was able to get more work done for less money. He took the time to take their estimate, break it down, explain it to me so I could understand it and told me what he could do for me. He always shows me, so I understand. Most people go to a dealer or a mechanic and your first thought that comes to mind is, am I being taken advantage of? In my opinion, Suffolk Alignment & Car Care is the best repair shop in the area, and Colin is an ASSET to this business! I have complete trust in Colin and Suffolk Alignment & Car Care, with any type of work! They have proven to me, they want and care about my business and the Colin even follows up on his work. That in itself is outstanding customer service! I recommend this business in every way possible based on my experiences with them. They are the best!

The first time I took my truck in, I was very Happy with their work. The 2nd I took the truck in cost $800 and it has not worked right since. They say they didnt do it and now its doing the same as before but they wont do anything without charging me again.

Im pretty paranoid about my car they do a good job and Im willing to pay the price they changed my belts for me and give it an inspection these guys are awesome pricey but worth it 👍 customer service is great 🤠

They had my car for 45 minutes on the lift and i get charged 2 hours labor plus parts? They replaced a camber bolt. I doubt ill be back. Car still pulled left and i brought it back, they rotatad the tires. I guess for the original labor cost there wasnt enough time to test drive?????

Had a bad electrical problem- they fixed it same day for around $100 bucks- would go back again.

Suffolk Alignment, Suffolk, Virginia, is the very best automotive repair shop in our southeastern Virginia region. We always take our vehicles to them.

I made an appointment and was seen first thing in the morning. The people who work there were all very pleasant. I went in for only an alignment and tire balance. I was out within an hour. I have a lifted Jeep with larger tires. It rides better now than it did when I bought it. Ill be a customer for life and tell my neighbors about this too. Reasonably priced too!

Good place for auto service. Limited a bit by their building. Waiting room is pretty cramped. Try to avoid bringing your kids. They stay busy and do excellent work.

Do not take your car here!!!! AAA recommended them to fix a water pump and they declined the work as it was too hard and while my car was on the property my plates were stolen as well. They noticed my plates were missing and had other reports of missing plates but failed to call me and let me know that mine were gone simply stating we assumed it came in without plates. This is not how a business should be run by any means. Save yourself the trouble and have your car taken somewhere else. If i could give 0 starts i would!

Very dissatisfied with level of customer service. Was told to bring in vehicle at 8am for computer diagnosis & they would have answers same day. They had my vehicle all day, no call to me but I called at 4pm ...oh we cant get to it today.. wouldve been nice to get a call .

Bought tires, I knew my car had problems so I had them give me an estimate. They did, we oked it and payed for it. Then they called and said we didnt pay for everything. We told them that we paid what they estimated and they forgave the rest. Will use them again! Yes a little more expensive, but if they are paying their workers fairly thats better than using a chain store that doesnt pay their workers well.

Dont take your vehicle there trying to find out what is wrong. I asked them if they could locate a problem so that I could know if the vehicle was safe to drive until next paycheck. They charged me $27 diagnostic fee minimum charge and then like $90 something an hour for their time investigating only to tell me the exact opposit of what every other shop I took the blazer too afterward said. Let a different shop fix what they said was wrong, and Wallah problem is solved.

I had my RV inspected today at Suffolk Alignment. They completed the inspection quickly, and were friendly and professional. I will take the RV back next year for an inspection.

The service was pretty good, they were very helpful. The price was a little steep but over all i was satisfied.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE, They bait you in with nice customer service but the mechanics suck. They put broken pieces back on my car and only acknowledged it when I mentioned a funny noise I never heard before taking it there. Then had the nerve to tell me they will repair it for a price...the mechanic said yea it was broke before he put it on,so why would you not tell me so I could by another?,because he broke it then lied about it. They will never get my recommendation.

This place has really gone down hill since Mr. Hines had to leave. My wife took her vehicle in to have to sensors replaced. She had taken it to the dealership and the dealer quoted her $275 for the work. She took it to suffolk alignment in hopes of getting a better price. Instead of getting a better price, Suffolk Alignment did the work without providing her a quote or getting her approval. They charged her $470 for the work, or a 188% markup over a Nissan dealership. The current operator was rude when I discussed this with him and told me that they mark up all of their parts by 85% over the manufacturer suggested retail price and that they usually get the part for about 1/2 of the msrp. We had been taking all of our vehicles here and had many years of good service with Mr. Hines at the helm of Suffolk Alignment. This new operator is a crook and we will never do business with them again.

Best place for your car

I will never go there again. First of all they had my car for two days. They never called and let me know whats going on or when they will be fixing my vehicle. I go there waited 5 hours so they can tell me exactly what i told them that was wrong with it i need a new water pump which they tried charging me 490.00 for that i bought for 145.00. I will never return there again.

Stated that my car needed several things to pass inspection took it to another facility everything passed when I told them about what failed they stated that everything was good and they dont know why they failed it
