Marisa is magical! I received my second covid shot to which I had a horrible horrible reaction to. My arm where I received the shot was numb, inflamed and I could not move it without pain. I have a high tolerance for pain and this was awful. Just dreadfully awful. My lymph nods on that side were inflamed too.As I posted this on FB, Marias reached out to me ON HER DAY OFF no less, asking me if I could meet her at her office as she has a treatment she thinks would help me. She conducted this ancient Chinese treatment on my arm. It is designed to help reduce inflammation and reduce swelling. IT WORKED!!!!I was at her office for less than 45 minutes and I could feel the difference in moving my arm. I could move it with ease. By the time I got home, which is 20 minutes away, my arms was a 1000x better. The next day the pain was gone in my arm. By the second day my lymph nods were back to normal.I could not believe how AWSOME this treatment is. But also how generous, compassionate and caring Marisa is. She did not need to reach out to me and offer this to me. She did and that show AMAZING, kind and generous she is. Marisa is amazing. Ive been seeing her for years on and off. First off, when you enter her space - a wonderful calm comes over you. I tried Hypno acupuncture last week at Healing Point Therapeutics for the first time. It was like nothing I had ever experienced before. It was a type of relaxation that I’ve never experienced…... I felt it from the top of my head to the tips of my toes. The needles did not hurt at all which surprised me. The treatment made me feel clearer, lighter and more optimistic. This treatment is something that everyone needs to experience at least once in their life. The environment was very sanitary, comfortable and cozy. Every fall when Daylight Saving Time comes around, my mood changes. I hibernate, feel moody, and isolate from others. My doctor diagnosed me several years ago with Seasonal Affective Disorder (S.A.D.). Every year since then she has recommended light therapy for me. But I never listen to her….
